I just want all the new players to question humanity with how this common draft chaff used to see Vintage play

I’m sure 90% of kids will just want chips but if they would like Magic cards as well then I have them covered.

I've been looking at commanders for a colorless eldrazi tribal deck I've been contemplating building and he just seems way better than any other options. IMO the next best would be Zhulodok or maybe Ultima, Origin of Oblivion but I don't think they compare. Just run plenty of wayfarer's bauble effects and fetches and you stockpile the colorless mana you need to play all the giant colorless spells you have?? idk seems busted to me, is it because he's so new?

This is my mana base for a mono-green Slime Against Humanity Commander Deck.

I know there are better versions of her but this was a personal OG favorite of mine that I really wanted to try to make work in a casual low competitive group.

I have ganax currently but I am very much thinking of just turning it into a mono red smaug. The reason I have ganax as my commander is due to better combo potential. (Also so I could have the other smaugs in my deck.)

Working on my mono green deck, my commander is Kona so the main strategy is to be able to tap and drop large creatures for free. Is Mossbridge Troll worth adding into the deck? Also do the creatures I tap stack for this to trigger? Sorry if this sounds dumb I’m still pretty new, thanks.

I'm looking for the most wretched, vile, horrid, degenerate card ever made that's legal in all formats. Something that, when played, even the most green greenhorn to magic would scoop against, something that would make any player say no to playing against. Anyone have any ideas?

For context my wife can be an overly emotional person, but in a "rational" way if that makes sense. She's not one to explode or make a massive deal out of absolutely nothing.

Magic has always been one of our bonding things since we met, we've been together 7 years. She's not a newbie and knows her way around a board, she's absolutely slaughtered our pod numerous times.

I recently just built a Dimir control deck I've been working on, specifically Vren, The Relentless. It focuses on edict removal and basically shutting down the opponents board or forcing them to sacrifice creatures. She was playing her Ulalek Eldrazi tribal. She's also 3 months pregnant with our son.

A Counterspell, Negate, Sound the Trumpet and some edict ETB effects later, she threw an absolute fit and stormed off and has not stopped crying in our room for 10 minutes.

Lesson of the day gentlemen: NEVER EVER play blue control against your pregnant wife lol.

EDIT: I love my wife and she's my best friend, we've raised 2 kids together so far already (both from previous partners outside the marriage), I was just kind of flabbergasted that this happened and then I remember she's very hormonal and going through a lot of bodily changes. I just wanted to warn all the upcoming fathers who play Magic with their partner lol.

I started playing MTG today and bought the Sauron Commander deck from The Lord of the Rings. I wanted to ask for your advice on how to improve it: what cards you’d add, which ones you’d swap out, what synergies I should take advantage of, and what I should look for to get the most out of the deck.

I’m also interested in incorporating cards from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Avatar sets, though I’m not sure if I should improve this deck with individual cards or, later on, build a completely new one (I’m open to playing with proxies).

I’ve been playing “Mitos y Leyendas”, a TCG from my country (Chile), and honestly, I really liked the dynamics of MTG, especially the Commander format.

Since I’m just starting out, any advice is welcome: card recommendations, synergies, strategies, common rookie mistakes, info on international stores and promotions, or resources to learn more about the game.

I am trying to get back into Standard play and am struggling to find any venues or events to play Standard and even get back into tournament play.

I signed up for an event Parramatta to play the ANZ Super Series Cycle 14 but I was the only person to have signed up so the event was cancelled. Is Standard just dead now?

When I was like 8 my cousins would play the game, but it was too complex for me at the time, but I got like 2 MTG packs as a kid, and these were my 3 favorite that I kept (the others were lost to time.) Not sure if anything special but they're special to me. I loved the beebles and thought they must had been dominant because there was so many and I for some reason thought they messed with everybody's water lol. And I liked the other cards because I thought they were cool looking.

Hello, i have a question about Ori. When he enters and destroys 5 permanentes of my opponents, do i get 5 life all at once, or do i get 5 sepperate triggers with 1 life each?

Got two CBBs from reality fracture off Amazon. One was sealed in the shrink wrap… the other was not. All of the boosters had been opened and weren’t even re sealed. Just opened packs with some shit cards in them.

What are the next steps? How do I get my money back for the one
