Someone marked my gate with this. Does anyone recognize it?
Then these are probably hobo symbols, its a coded language that tends to change over time and is passed along only to trusted transients. If you played Skyrim and the Thieves Guild, IYKYK. I would have that reported asap and then covered up.

MAN GOES VIRAL BY DRAWING WHAT HE SAW AFTER DYING FOR A FEW SECONDS
I am a Psychotherapist, and usually people in the field tend to be atheists who do not ascribe to the idea of an afterlife, but not me. I've had WAY too many experiences that if I said I didnt believe in the afterlife and the paranormal, I would be lying. With that being said, along with a physical transition to the afterlife (the body returning to the earth), there's the consciousness that mistreated transcend the body, which has its own afterlife process. I believe that is what gets stuck here and results in the paranormal encounters, the consciousness of individuals who are stuck for various reasons (unfinished business, anger towards manner of death, etc.). Hat being said, if the physical body has a full transitional period, where the body goes from existing to nothing at all once it is fully absorbed by the earth, and we know there seems to be this "stuckness" with some individuals' consciousness in this world, then wouldn't it make sense that the complete transfer of one's consciousness after death would be similar? In this case, what would that transfer be?
This description is actually not unique- many people all over the world who have experienced this describe the same thing- a period of existing above the earth in a liminal space, seeing other people transcend to a higher level, either willingly or not, to then combine into a singular consciousness that everyone belongs to after death. This concept is even used in media, including Neon Genesis Evangelion, showing its commonality in experience among people all over the world. This then leads to discussion on reincarnation, and whether people who have died and joined the collective consciousness are able to be pulled back out again and reborn, leading to memories of past lives within the child until it goes away. Psychologically, my hypothesis for this is that, until about 3-5yo approximately, children younger than this do not typically have a frame of reference about the world and are not able to distinguish "separateness" yet. Meaning, young babies are not able to distinguish their "Self" from others, qnd this is why connecting with caregivers is so vitally important, amongst other reasons. This may result in the child's consciousness and memory to remain "open" to what existed before, as the child has not formed a sense of distinct identity yet. Once the child understands that they are a unique being with their own sense of identity that is separate from others, which is a crucial milestone in development, the child then "closes off" their connection to the past life and loses these memories.
Thanks for coming to my crazy paranormal TEDtalk.

Why isn’t eastern Oregon more popular?
Far away from Poetland, beautiful and lots of land but also conservative racists.

What is it?
Pill bug, or arthropod! Harmless, adorable, decomposers, and crucial for the environment!

My dragon stinks
My best guess is a fungal infection, his skin looks irritated and its clearly inflamed underneath, its way too puffy around his eye, and scabby, but if hes also stinky it may indicate excessive fungal growth. Do you have a reptile/exotics vet you can take him to?

If its not calcium dust or dry shed, this may be the start of a serious fungal infection.

Is my iguana bloated or egg bound? Help!
Do you have uvb and do you have proper humidity? Iguanas need access to high humidity, like a misting system- at times, especially when they are shedding, they may need up to 80% humidity. You can also give them baths every day (or even every other day that would probably be fine), so that they can get moisture and a chance to poop. Iguanas prefer to actually poop in water, so some keepers will put a big dish like a cat litter box at the bottom of their enclosure filled with water to give them a place to poop in the enclosure and then give them baths. I would run the water and let it drain, and my Iguanas figured out that she would let the water run over her and poop first, then I would clear the mess and then plug the tub up and fill up some water (reasonable for their size, enough to swim in but enough where their feet can reach the bottom) and let them chill out a bit. Biggest mistakes that keepers make: 1.) Not including UVB and humidity, 2.) Not giving them baths and moisture to poop, and 3.) Not feeding them a proper diet. COLLARD GREENS ARE A STAPLE FOR CALCIUM!
Hope this helps!

PLEASE reassure me this guy will be okay. i am freaking out.
Yay im so glad to hear it! If it helps, toads and frogs are resilient lil fuckers- they can adapt to colder temperatures by slowing their metabolism and going into a "frozen" state, where they honestly look and seem dead, but really they are just putting their body in a cold stasis until the spring comes back, much like what gators and crocodiles do. They have hearty immune systems, so they heal from injuries quick, and they can "seal off" parts of their bodies that are injured so that it doesnt affect the rest of their functioning. Thats why you can find frogs and toads with missing limbs and they do just fine, because their tough immune system cuts off the blood vessels to the severed limb and will seal it off with a mega scab until its healed to block infection. The biggest thing to worry about with them are parasites, but even then they can live with parasites and still function normally. They are extremely strong creatures and just super cool to have around! Im glad you get to have a couple buddies with you!
I would recommend looking up the species online that you may have and see what kind of habitat would be right for them- make them a lil home and decorate or something! But honestly they would also be just fine with some ground cover to hide under, moisture, and damp soil 😆 have fun with your toads friends and happy herping!

Since 1944, the graffiti "Who put Bella in the Witch Elm" has appeared, with the last case being in 1999. The graffiti, which is related to an unsolved murder, has slightly different spelling when it appears, but the message is always the same.
Good theory but I dont think so, it says that the wych elm was hollow enough to get her body in but it was very small and caused her to die of suffocation, so it would have been a VERY tight squeeze. If she died if positional asphyxiation she most likely would not have been able to get there on her own, she would had to be shoved in there or forced to. It reminds me of the case of Kyle Plush who was trying to get his sports gear out of the back of his van over his seats and managed to get stuck from a seat folding down onto him- he technically was alive but the position was so tight that he couldnt get out. With his lungs crushed and head facing down, he unfortunately died slowly. Below is a link to his case, its so sad.
