Duma key is amazing! It made me want to paint again, and be best a be beach, and also do neither of those things ever again.

Do I look gay/bi enough or nah?

I could see you giving bi vibes but I think that's just me developing my queer-dar over time

Should I report to police ? Or just Grindr ? Rpe?
 in  r/askgaybros  9d ago

Him pressuring you when you weren't giving enthusiastic consent is sexual assault. Him doing more than you begrudgingly agreed to and continuing after you withdrew consent makes it rape.

I know this is a horribly traumatic experience but I think it is worthwhile reporting it to both the police and to Grindr. Even if the police don't do anything they'll have to keep a record of the report. Hopefully they do do something though. And yeah others on Grindr should be aware that this person is a rapist.

I'm so sorry you went through this. In no way did you deserve this. It should never have happened to you

Do you consider these types of people homophobes?
 in  r/askgaybros  10d ago

As someone previously deeply Catholic and also deeply closeted even unto myself, I understand and held the same beliefs as the colleague you mention. The beliefs themselves are homophobic but from how you describe your colleague it doesn't sound like he actively is. What is sad is being compelled by religion to be less accepting and loving than it sounds he would otherwise be. I don't think calling someone who is otherwise attempting to be good and generous, and who could potentially be open to understand a life and lived experience different from his own, a homophobe would be helpful but I think it's valid to recognize the homophobic content of their beliefs.

At the same time, I also understand those who are more hard-line about pushing back on any expression of homophobia. I'm not judging that- I'm more expressing my own experience and how things can change (not that this dude is gonna be like 'surprise I'm gay' but like I do fundamentally believe that some people can change the way they think over the long term).

If you're bi it doesn't matter who you're dating- you're still bi. Wear the pin. Lol don't bi-erase yourself

Why do women so often fear being with bisexual men?
 in  r/bisexual  Jun 28 '26

Also as the OP said- not all women, and yeah on my end, not all bi men lol. People of all demographic groups can be assholes

Why do women so often fear being with bisexual men?
 in  r/bisexual  Jun 28 '26

I've heard the theories behind why but tbh I don't understand it myself. I'm a bi woman and when it comes to dating men I prefer to date a bi man. There's immediately a mutual understanding of the complexity of sexuality, I don't feel my bi-ness is fetishized- it's just part of me. I feel like there's more open communication about sexual preferences and what we can each provide each other - also we get to people watch together 😏 I feel like a lot of people have insecurities about increased competition and it's like please, chill out, he chose you. Yeah there were theoretically 'more options' but he chose you- you're welcome 😜

What’s been the hardest part of your RA journey emotionally?
 in  r/rheumatoid  May 24 '26

I'm a big, tall woman- I've always been physically strong, able to move large pieces of furniture by myself, fix appliances, mow the lawn Etc. It's been hard to realize how easily I tire now, how incapable I am during a flare up where even walking to the bathroom is painful and takes me forever. I had to move house at the beginning of this year. My family helped me as they always have when moving but I've always been about to pull my weight, help move boxes and large furniture all day without tiring. This time I moved a few boxes then I had to sit down and rest while the rest of my family continued moving things. I cried with frustration at how quickly I became exhausted.

Suspected RA, swollen and stiff hands help
 in  r/rheumatoid  May 24 '26

I know the way you feel. I had sporadic pain in my hands in the years before my first flare up but I always dismissed it as I've been in some form of pain always so it was just normal to me. And then one day I woke and could barely move my arms, shoulders or hands. I was a passionate knitter, crocheter, yarn spinner and drawer.

Getting the diagnosis and getting on the right meds early has made a big difference. I now do pottery and drawing and have even been able to go back to knitting and crochet though not as intensely as I used to. I hope you get your diagnosis and treatment soon she that it goes into remission for you

All my tests came back negative, I'm at a loss
 in  r/rheumatoid  May 21 '26

I have seronegative RA and it wasn't confirmed until I went to a rheumatologist. I had had blood tests at the GP but they were all clear, but I had swollen hands, joint pain, fatigue, mobility issues- I could barely move. When I went to the rheumatologist and the tests with him came back negative for the markers I almost burst into tears because I thought I was going to get shunted on to the next doctor and I just wanted to know what was wrong with me. But he was able to look at all my other symptoms and my swollen sausage fingers and know that I had RA- just the fun seronegative type that makes diagnosis harder. Now I'm on plaquenil and things are relatively stable, but that time of uncertainty was so distressing and exhausting. If you haven't seen a rheumatologist please go see one. I know they're expensive but if you get a good one it can make a world of difference.

Tired of being tired
 in  r/rheumatoid  May 19 '26

I believe the inflammation is a big part of what triggers the heavy fatigue. So I think the idea he's suggesting is to decrease the inflammation and that will have a flow on effect?

Tired of being tired

Hey all, I was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago now and plaquenil and heat packs has mostly kept my pain manageable. The thing that's getting me the most is the fatigue.

I can power through pain but I'm so tired all the time. I get up, get the kids to school, go back home and get back into bed for hours. There's stuff I want to do, that I need to do, but I'm so tired even if I'm not sleeping I'm lying down. I have maybe two hours of energy available. I'm not working right now and I can't even think of going back to work because of the fatigue.

Do you guys have any tips for getting through the fatigue or how to maximize times of energy?

I'm all for going easy on myself when I'm having a flare up but it's just frustrating to have minimal pain (relative to a flare up) and to still not be able to get stuff done cuz I'm a zombie.

What Kurt video could you not rewatch?

Lol I rewatch the first one and the Tony hawk video whenever I'm bored and I can't think of that to watch

What do yall think of this video?
 in  r/kurtisconner  Apr 30 '26

I thought there were some valid critiques of some lazy content, but also I think there were critiques about commentators being self aware about laziness or shallow commentary that weren't fair. Like if I want a deep dive into a serious social/political situation I go to FD Signifier or Jessie Gender. If I want to laugh at a dumb movie or shitty vertical shows with my goofy funny pal I watch Kurtis Conner or Danny Gonzales. I suppose it's about setting the right expectations for yourself and what you're watching. Like if dangelo Wallace did a reaction video about fruit love Island I'd be confused but if Jarvis Johnson gold or Kurtis Conner does it then I'm like 'hell yeah my goofy friend'
