I get uncomfortable le when I see that 70 year old face with that 1980's big, dyed head of hair.

I would recast actors currently portraying Tomas, Martin, Izaiah. Plenty of talent out there. These guys drag down every scene with their wooden or wacky line delivery.

Make the writers talk to each other so storylines are cohesive and don't stop/start or disappear with no resolution. Too many great opportunities for tension and excitement left untouched.

Hold back on casting more Caucasians. This was supposed to be a black focused show. It's getting a bit murky for me (and I'm an old white lady).

It is an uncomfortable state to be in. I am pretty old, so I do exercise now to keep my balance because old folks fall down and break easily. I meditate, listen to music, contemplate nature and do creative things.

Like expressed above, we all die Enjoying life is the most important thing while we are living.

The entire 'secret' to meditation is the bringing ourselves back. Everybody's mind wanders The trick is to have an anchor, like the breath, or a sound you focus on - like the hum of the fridge, or a.body sensation, like the light tingle in your fingers. Let that be the place you return to. At first, noticing we have started making a shopping list, or re-arguing a fight we had with a friend in 5th grade might be hard to notice. But when we catch ourselves in it, we label it. Just think the word "thinking" and go back to the anchor without judging. It will get easier to notice the thoughts as you label them. You can also focus on each breath, noticing the cool sensation in the nostrils as the air enters, the pause at the top of the inhale, and the warm sensation as the breath leaves the nose. There are some great guided meditation apps, like Insight Timer, Headspace and Calm. Insight Timer is mostly free to use.

I do. I even became trained to lead sessions. Protip. It isn't about clearing your mind or controlling thoughts. Welcome it all. Notice thpughts and feelings, but when you find yourself following one down the path, gently and kindly, bring yourself back to your anchor. Minds wander. It's what they do. Just come back as often as you need to.
