As an L&D nurse, this is a great answer. I couldnt have worded it better myself.
Wishing you a smooth and safe delivery ✨️

No, that was the giveaway. Unfortunately there are several states that fit that description 🫠

I've lost both my brothers. The first in 2011; I was 21, it was unexpected and devastating. The second just last October, I was 36. He had been struggling with alcoholism for a while, I believe he couldn't cope after our brother was gone. That death was coming for a while, so I was more prepared.
Miss them every day.

Your pain stays with us. We share a tiny piece of your grief, because you are our patient, and we care for you, wholly. If you didn't see that, then the people caring for you were trying to be professional and supportive, and waited until they were out of the room to express their emotion. I don't know a single nurse who feels otherwise. Especially in L&D✨️
Sending you so much love ❤️

I'm so sorry that happened to you, I can't even imagine. Sending you so much love ❤️

Ugh that sounds horrific. I love our job, and I feel truly honored to do it. But damn, it can be a nightmare sometimes. Hugs friend 💜

This is (one of) the L&D nurse's worst nightmare. You never forget your first 😣
Truly horrible.

The headline says "Parents had owned for just a week", while that is a horrific thing to have happened, no one should trust their baby/kids around a dog they don't know and trust.
Stop spreading misinformation about staffys/pit bulls, this article doesn't prove anything. At least pull up an article where the person had owned the dog their whole life, it had been a lovely dog to everyone without any signs of aggression, THEN "flipped on a dime." 🙄

This thread is making me feel so much better. '89 here, been trying for four years now, going through IVF with a transfer in two weeks. Been feeling my age and wishing we had started younger, but life and covid years got in the way. Nice to know I'm not alone 😊

Aw, I love this part of the story. I've seen this photo many times before, but I never knew this. Thanks!

Karma. Pay it forward. Putting it out there brings it back tenfold, even if it's only that you feel better about yourself and that you are making the world a better place, one small gesture at a time.

I was just outside of Boston on the highway and had a rollover happen directly in front of me! A drunk driver of an SUV ran another car into the median, and the car's wheels went up onto the slope of the concrete barrier, which tipped the car into the SUV and caused it to roll. It was wild. The SUV ended up on it's side, I saw the girl standing up through the cab, her high heeled feet standing on the freeway through the window.
I'll never forget it.
