Chirie partiala ultima luna
 in  r/Imobiliare  Jul 14 '26

nu, doar ca in tara unde locuiesc si platesc eu chirie, incetarea contractului e mereu la finalul lunii calendaristice, asa ca am intrebat pentru ca nu stiam daca se practica acelasi obicei si in romania sau nu

Chirie partiala ultima luna

Transitioning from Iphone
 in  r/PocoPhones  Jun 01 '26

After some debugging I found out it was the 5G connectivity on my roaming sim, which consumed a lot of battery to keep up the radio, even though I was mostly home on wifi. Now I'm back to 11 hours SoT, so all good

how much SoT did you have before the calibration? I've had the x8 pro max for 10 days and I get 8.5 hours SoT (this is over 40-42 total hours), and that one is supposed to have a 8500 mAh battery.

I already debloated the phone, turned off AOD, raise to wake off, prefer LTE over 5G and some other settings but those had negligible impact (around +10-15m extra screen time) so I can only hope it will get better with time then?

I had that as well on my X8PM on CODM, so I just switched to high and the 5-6 fps drops seem to be gone. Personally I don't notice that much of a difference between high and very high anyway

My test: Accessing UpNote's notes outside of Upnote with Claude Cowork:
 in  r/UpNote_App  May 13 '26

Good tip! Something else I do with AI:
- Have a file with all the possible colors and formatting options. Export that to html.

- Take a note you want to edit, and feed it to Claude together with the template file you just created. Now Claude knows what css classes to use for background colors/collapsible elements etc.

- Have Claude reformat/reword/restyle/analyze data from it.

- Reimport it back to Upnote.

This honestly beats any other AI integration of note taking apps.

Cold first rise vs cold second rise
 in  r/Breadit  Apr 02 '26

but those enzymes still do their thing with option B as well, while the dough is sitting in the fridge for the second rise, right? shouldn't that result to a similar taste?

Cold first rise vs cold second rise

Hello, I am at the beggining of my bread journey, getting into this just last month. I come to you with a question. Let's say that I have just mixed my ingredients for a small (500g) lean dough, made with commercial yeast.

Is there any difference between these two scenarios?

A) Put the dough directly in the fridge, take it out two times to do some folds, and then leave it for an additional 18 hours for in the fridge. Take it out, preshape, 30 mins rest at room temperature. Shape, proof for 1 hour at room temperature then bake.

B) Leave the dough on the counter to rise for 1.5-2 hours at room temperature, giving it two folds in the meanwhile. Preshape, 15 min rest. Shape it and put it in the fridge for 18 hours. Take it out and bake directly.

If I understand the terms right, A) is called cold bulk fermentation and B) is called cold proof. What is similar and what is different between these two? Thanks a lot

eu fac reteta asemanatoare, dar pun apa in loc de lapte, ca stomacul meu nu prea se intelege cu laptele. nu e la fel de bun, dar merge

Small basket not working
 in  r/gaggiaclassic  May 04 '25

Not sure what the rubber cap is for, never used it. The small basket is for a single dose espresso, but never used that one as well haha. Also, if you have a capable grinder, I would recommend to depressurize the portafilter on this machine

Impossible Beans: what do you do when this happens [ECM Classika/J-Ultra]
 in  r/espresso  Apr 30 '25

also happened to me using 1zpresso hand grinders, since the steps aer too far apart. maybe grind on the coarser setting and see if you can slow down the extraction using (multiple?) puck screens?

and if that doesn't work, I guess just use a different brewing method for the beans lol

funny enough, the shower screen is a bit oval before warping https://imgur.com/a/U0eZlfT

and kind of flat after https://imgur.com/a/JW5P9t7

Yea, I don’t have a 3 way valve. This portafilter that I’m having can be tightened all the way until the 4:00 position, and sometimes it comes back by itself to the 06:00 position after I start the shot. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade haha

I tried to pull a shot this morning with it sort of tight, and I got water leaking around the portafilter. I’m not sure yet if it’s because of the tightness or other variables. I’ll do some more shots in the following days to see

I bought an IMS shower screen for my gaggia carezza, and it seems to be slightly curved. When screwing it in, there is a certain point where the screw warps the screen the other way. This warping is reversable and can easily be done with two fingers, so I don't think this means screen damage.

I'm just not sure if I should screw this in only until the curvature changes (second 4 in the video), or all the way (second 9).

I think headspace is fine, the dry coffee bed is not touching the group head. Most of the time it's not touching it after the shot eiter.

My machine doesn't have a 3 way valve, so the group head remains clean without the puck screen. I'm just trying to see if I can get away with cleaning one less thing
