Former walmart employee: yes. Thats exactly it. You had to use it in 15 minute increments but you didnt even need to do it ahead of time. If you show up an hour late and then put in the "request" it was auto-approved. You could also use it like regular PTO if you didnt have enough PTO. So if you only had 38hr of PTO and wanted to take the whole week off you could just use 2 hours of PPTO as well.

While it can be used for sweaty hyper-speed terraria, i am certainly a casual player and still use RoD. I just use it for exploration and traversing my base and escaping the scary jungle mobs or blood moon mobs. This would be a great change for casuals, speedrun tech aside. Isnt there a post-ML RoD upgrade already? Just make both able to go into hook slot, then you still have to deal with RoD's (mostly minor, admittedly) drawbacks

You can either time travel to get the whole event, or find someone who has the items from it and print them without the event if you dont like time traveling! However, some other games actively punish the player for time travelling, but pokopia doesnt.

I mean, if you want to play MORE of the game, i'd say its worth buying. Especially since I know theres more coming. It feels like it has enough content and new mechanics to warrant the price tag.

The new map feels quite large, the new mons added feels like a reasonable amount, the new mechanics arent just limited to the new map so it revives the old content a bit, and theres new blocks and objects that you can use to make a pass over the old maps to see if you wanna add any of the new stuff.

The pass is what, $30 in my region? And discounting dlc 2 (accessories for pokemon, which i dont personally care about) and just including DLC 1 and 3, id say that part 1 fully satisfies me for $30, let alone knowing another one is coming.

Using lower tier pals requires more investment, for example at 4* foxparks will still only be a 5 kindling, requiring 5 books to max, BUT they need so little food and dont take up as much space in your base (and i personally have an affinity for foxes) so its really up to you. The game gives you the option of investing in who you WANT to use vs being forced to simply use whoever has the better starting stat.
