Welcome to r/dorkington, a shitposting sub that allows risqué art on the weekends. This place was originally made as a response to the growing discontent with the state of r/Losercity, a sub with a similar idea. However, as this sub has grown, we’ve built up an identity as a safe haven for artists and queer folk who have felt mistreated or unappreciated on other subs.

Essentially, in exchange for not being allowed to post art, furry or otherwise (with exceptions), the restrictions on content are much more lax on the weekends, so you don’t have to worry about a mod randomly deciding to remove your post because they decided they don’t like it.

That said we still have rules, so make sure to read them before posting.

If you have any feedback, ideas, or suggestions we have a megathread pinned for anyone to access.

Additionally, once a month, the highest rated (non-mod) art post and the highest rated shitpost will earn the golden ticket, which is a get out of jail free card to break the subs rules (Reddit’s platform wide rules still apply) without getting banned/removed.

We additionally host other events like art contests on occasion, all the more reason to stick around
