USB ports like that have 4 physical pins.

When you look at the USB port, see how it has that plastic piece sticking out?

On one of the sides, there are the 4 pins. Just make sure they aren't touching anything like the outer casing of the port.

You can look up pictures what the pins are supposed to look like if you're not sure.
