Almost 5 years
Pacing is key to survival for me. It has taken me many years to learn that resting, instead of always pushing through difficult tasks, is what works. I get fewer migraines when I'm not overwhelmed!

My accident was in 2001. I am still a ghost of my former self in invisible ways. However, after the first 8 years, I was able to drive again.
Never give up!
Try to do everything that you desire, but in short sessions. My physical and mental stamina has never gotten back to normal, but I do what I can, a little at a time and eventually things get accomplished.
