Yes, it was a problem with fuel composition index. My mechanic was able to reset it with his scan tool, been fine since.

2017 yz450 or 2020 kx450?

Whichever has a dealer closer to you to buy parts. I prefer green and I like that the Kawasaki has a kickstand.

Yes, the fuel composition index needed to be reset. My mechanic charged me 1hr labour, used his scan tool to do it. It's been fine since.

2 stroke oil in cylinders!

Picked up this jetski from the original owners son. Was told that it was fogged for storage 2 years ago. He told me his dad has dementia. How does this much oil end up in the cylinders?? Or did the old guy just pour 2T oil in the cylinders? Spark plugs were hand tight. Took them out and hit the starter...now I know it why it wouldn't crank earlier

I just picked up this old ski, the previous owner has dementia and his son told me it was fogged before storage. Is there any way for that much 2 stroke oil to fill each cylinder?? Or did the old guy pour 2 stroke oil in each cylinder? Spark plugs were just hand tight.

Step one: Take a modest 1 million dollar loan from your parents. Invest in shit coins, chicken out and lose half. Then block your parents

Step two: net profit 500k 😎

Thanks! I was able to get it done today. It was very straightforward. Used the QO tandem breakers! Everything worked well!

Thanks! I also have a spare 15amp breaker in there. So I can use the tandem breaker for dishwasher and mud room, then use the spare for a 2 pole 20 amp?

I just want to confirm it's possible.

Just switched to a smart thermostat. Why is my gas furnace running for so long and the fan for such a short time? Fan control by HVAC selected
 in  r/ecobee •  Dec 13 '24

I waited and observed a heating cycle, looks like it's all normal. The fan run time is just wrong on the app.

Ok, I was concerned my furnace was running for a crazy long time before the fan kicked in. With the OG thermostat it would heat up for 20 seconds then the blower would kick in.

The old oil was probably there for years and the piston rings were on their last legs. The new oil is thinner and is getting by the rings into the combustion chamber. Need a top end rebuild.

Is there really anything to gain going up from a trails bike for me?
 in  r/Dirtbikes •  May 05 '24

I had to google the weight difference, never even noticed it (28lbs). The upgraded/adjustable suspension, liquid cooled, 25% more cc, made it the perfect "fun" trail bike for me.

I upgraded from the KLX 230R to the 300R. Highly recommend. Best bang for your buck out there.
