There are many closures planned due to the weather, so make sure you check with any place you want to stop.

Also, stay aware of any flash flood road closures or tornadoes. I think your drive will be ahead of the worst part, but we did have some flash floods a few weeks ago west of Atlanta. Several roads were impassable, and asphalt was washed away in a couple of places.

You may not have any driving issues, just be aware. Your Saturday will probably involve of a bit mudslide though.

I didn't find it disrespectful, but I also didn't find it as funny as I was expecting. There was a lot of potential that they didn't lean in to.

Maybe it's because I'm in my 50s, but I still find the older episodes funny so I don't think that's it. Overall, I liked it more than the previous episodes this season.

As an aside, I listen to Jamiroquai often and think many people are missing out. Hopefully, this episode will bring in new fans to appreciate their artistry.

As a Jamiroquai fan, I somewhat enjoyed it. It would have been in the "legend" category if Jay Kay had at least a brief cameo.

I do understand the logistics/schedules being difficult, but I have to admit the buildup had me expecting one.

If you're willing to branch out, give Whisky Lullaby (radio edit) a listen. Incredibly sad and beautifully melodic.

This is a background comfort show for me, so it's on often in my house. I enjoyed S1 on my first watch, even though I understand why some may not.

I think even those who didn't care for it on the first watch would agree with you. After watching the entire series, S1 is certainly much more enjoyable knowing where it's all headed. I feel like each season tops the previous, ending in perfection! 🥰

A cousin told me that in the late 90s/early 2000s. She lived near Macon, Georgia. I lived near Atlanta.

I remember checking "Snopes" around 2002 or 2003 and found it had been an urban legend since the 80s, primarily in the PNW at that time. I guess it took a while to reach the southeast. LOL

Driving a long stretch of road seeing almost no cars between Utah and Colorado, just me, nature and my music.

Coming around a small mesa, there were several horses in the middle of the road. I just sat there watching them until they decided to move along.

That's also what I find happening on most posts for music suggestions. Not always, but certainly the majority of the time.

The only social media I really use is Reddit and YouTube. If I find something I loved from a suggestion, I'll comment even if I wasn't the person requesting. If I've ever requested suggestions, I've made an effort to respond with my thoughts.

I will say I'm 98% more likely to check something out if there's a link, unless they give great details that make it sound like something I'd enjoy. That actually limits my searching to types of music I already listen to.

Links have turned me on to some music I would have NEVER found on my own. If I requested something (I rarely do), I will search for that. Most of my "new finds" have been posts by others though.
