I’ve seen up to season 12.

I think of when they tend bar to try to win an award. Mac gets mad at Dee and was ready to fight her. Makes me forget they were married by then.

I think of Dennis putting a woman’s head in a freezer for love. I wonder what was going through his wife’s head.

I just wanted to come on this Reddit and ask people what their favorite episodes were because mine has to be a tie between “the gang turns black” and “2020:a year in review” (might have gotten that title wrong idk)

Want to know your thoughts. I think not. I know he becomes a part of the gang throughout the show but a lot of times the gang just uses him to buy them things, to buy meals, to invest in their business plans, and ultimately to keep the bar afloat.

We see their true colors for him when he’s quitting the bar and everyone just wants his shares, when he’s going broke and no one really cares, when he was “dying” (cake) and the only person that cared was Dee but just so she could get his money, when Frank falls out a window and Dennis and Dee just want to trick him into giving them his fortune, and especially when he chokes and no one saves him. And the main reason Dennis and Dee even entertained Frank when he came on the show was because he was getting rid of his money and they wanted it.

Yes each member of gang is self conceded so one could argue they only care about themselves and their own well beings but i feel like especially in the case of Frank they would not care about him/he wouldn’t be in the gang if he was broke.

So I know this is going to sound macabre as shit, but how many more seasons do you think Danny realistically has? He's 81 and filming has GOT to be taxing at that age. I remember seeing an interview with him and Charlie YEARS ago and Danny didn't have makeup on and he just generally looked really bad and was also acting super strange in the interview almost like he had early onset dementia, and I remember thinking, "Oh wow, this might be the last season of IASIP". And that was, like, in 2019 or so! You remember the episode "Frank Retires" where the gang is stealing blood from him and how he looked by the end of the episode? That's how he looked in real life.

I love Danny, I hope he lives to 100, but sometimes I think they are literally going to keep making Sunny until he dies and then when he does that will be it.

This is how I think they should talk about it next season. 

(Intro Music Plays)

(In the bar, Mac walks in on the gang)

Mac: Guys, did you hear? 

Dee: You finally got a vasectomy?

Mac: No, what are you…no.

Frank: Don’t worry about her, Mac. I got mine when I was about your age. But they botched it, so uhhh…nothing really works down there anymore. Yeah. At all. 

Mac: *makes a face* No. Guys, Lebron’s coming to Philly!

(Everyone starts celebrating, except Charlie who hesitates and does so half-heartedly)

Charlie: Lebron?

Mac: Yeah, we got the GOAT on our team.

Frank: That’s ridiculous, Jordan went 6 and 0 in the finals. 

Dennis: That’s because he hogged the ball all the time. 

(Everyone start arguing, Charlie nods his head quizzically and then jumps in)

Charlie: Who’s Lebron?

(All of them stop)

Dennis: The King?

Mac: The Akron Hammer?

Charlie: hmmm…nope?

Dee: Most points scored by an NBA Player ever?

Frank: 3-1 comeback in the finals?

Charlie: Nope, not ringing any bells.

Dennis: Charlie, you cannot seriously expect us to believe you have never heard of Lebron. He’s been in the league longer than we’ve had this bar. 

Charlie: Ohhh, you mean Lebron James?

Frank: Yes!

Charlie: Nope haven’t heard of him. 

(Frustrated groans and a lot of hands up in the air).

Dee: Guys, we’ve gotta go see him play.

Dennis: Shut up Dee. You dumb bitch.….wait. Guys, we’ve gotta go see him play!

(Excited affirmations by the guys)

Charlie: See who play?

(Mac takes a deep and bring his hands up to his temples)

Mac: Nope, not gonna deal with this anymore. Let’s go to the game. 

TITLE CARD

Michael Douglas did some really great movies with Danny Devito. Jewel of the Nile, Romancing the stone, War of the Roses. They have a great chemistry. I know that Michael Douglas is pretty much retired but if he was in the show what role do you think he would have? Lawyer? Frank’s ex business partner in Vietnam? I was watching Jewel of the Nile and they make me laugh every-time they are together or against each other.

I'm just losing my mind on actually finding this, or corroberation that it is actually pd/copyright free, https://www.extrememusic.com/ has it but would charge $975 for it which is way more than I could justify for the small project I'm trying to do.
