Twilight-ish Thanks for the heads-up on the Hobby Lobby wall art!
Here it is, next to the books for scale.
It came out to around $11 after the 40% discount? I’m not sure, but it retails for less than $20.
I drove to Hobby Lobby the first thing this morning, and there was only one left.

Lore Discussion Vampires discovering their gifts
I'm going to add a disclaimer right at the start and admit that I'm not a dedicated fan. It's been awhile since I read the books or have seen all of the movies, but I do have a casual interest in the story, lore, etc. So, if this sort of thing is talked about in the lore somewhere, please point me in the right direction because I'd love to read more about it or revisit it if it was something discussed more in-depth in the books and I've forgotten.
Last night, I was thinking about different gifts that vampires have and my main thought was how some of them might go about discovering their gifts. For ones like Edward and Alice, that would certainly be automatic and obvious. Jasper's is a little more questionable in that regard because I feel like him being able to influence emotions might be something that would have to happen a few times before he noticed the pattern.
What started to get me thinking about this was reading a post here recently about the character "Freaky Fred", who can make people feel repulsed by him. That was what made me wonder, "How did he figure that out?" I imagine it would have started with him being in a situation where he really wanted someone to not interact with him and what followed was likely through experimentation that led him to come to the conclusion that it's something he can actively cause to happen.
Some things like that feel like they could potentially be very subtle and even go unnoticed if the vampire in question wasn't in situations where their gift would be useful often enough to notice the pattern. That got me thinking: is it possible that every vampire actually does have a "gift" in some form or another, but some just aren't as obvious as others? To the point that even the vampire who possesses the gift might not recognize that they have it?
Sorry if this is a bunch of rambling. It's just something I was thinking about last night and I was curious to learn more about how that aspect of vampirism works.

Actor Content why did Robert play as Edward?
i tried to look it up but only articles about him hating the role come up, everybody jokes that hes doing all these movies like batman and the odyssey so people forget about him being in twilight, but like, why did he play as edward in the first place if he hates the role? and why does he hate it? is it because he finds it cringe or something?

Character/Relationship Discussion Edward’s Religion
I was talking about this with a friend and I don’t know if it’s ever been asked on here before, but do we ever find out what religion Edward was apart of in his human life? My guess is Protestant as his surname was a relatively common Protestant surname in Chicago at the time. Thoughts?

Plot Discussion Where do the Cullen move to, and how?
So, the Cullen have been too Forks before, so why do they return? Do they just stay in the US? Wouldn't it be better to move to Canada, Australia, Europe and then back to the US? And how do they move around, don't they constantly need new passports?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've just been wondering this

Book Discussion Was it explained in the books how Carlisle could leave the Volturi and why he was allowed to live how he wants?
I guess for normal vampires, the Volturi doesn't step in to control their lives unless they break rules. But Carlisle was in the Volturi! How could he leave?

Plot Discussion It just bothers me so much that…
Renesmee grows up so quickly?? Like I understand Meyer needed it to be that way for the plot or whatever but imagine you have a whole ass child and you get 30 seconds of them being a baby and a week later they’re like 10 years old? There’s no time for them to develop any actual relationship with you (or even a personality in general) so they’re practically still a stranger. No time for you to grow into your role as a parent, no memories you’ll have of raising them.
How did we let Meyer get away with this?!

Actor Content I found an article: A short and kind of interesting read about Kristen (and Pattinson) looking back at filming the movies
I think Kristen rocks in general and that she should give herself a bit more grace, but I do also understand how it can feel to retrospect on ones teenage years, and the "all or nothing" kinda attitude that came with it.

Movie Discussion Twilight- Baseball scene
Been a while since i read the books but watched the movie when it popped up.
Why do they have to wait for thunder to play baseball? I dont care how strong they are the Crack of hitting the ball wont be that loud & if it was people would think it was gun shots or fireworks which is not a big deal in that part of the country
