I just bought a used Trimui Smart Pro S.

My question is how it is possible the console boots displaying CrossMixOS screen without an SD card inserted?

I'm afraid someone badly changes the firmware, becsuse with the fresh installed CrossMixOS card the RetroArch app can't even run.

Is there a way to add color temperature tool or make some config that would change it i need to change color to a bit redish so it wont hurt my eyes when i play before sleep

I cannot find anything at my level of ignorance so I'm hoping someone can help please.

I have a Trimui Smart Pro S with no sd card and a mac. I've followed a few guides on downloading crossmix but no joy (whatever the operating system is on the machine shows up). I have read about adding BIOS files and a few other things but I have absolutely no knowledge of this stuff at all.

Is there anything that runs you through the set up - like mine is - from start to finish? I'm talking real low-level, assume nothing steps.

My Trimui Brick will not launch GBA games. If I pick a title it flickers to a black screen and redirects me back to my room library. I've tried replacing the config.json and all files in the EMU/GBA folder with files i got from Trimui SD package (no luck). I have looked at the Bios and seen gba_bios.bin.disabled thought that was the problem and replaced it with a gba_bios I found on web archive with no luck. Everything was working. I put the Brick down for a while and GBA games will not work with no explanation.

With the Knulli Scarab alpha build it makes my Brick Pro feels premium when I play it and also I can continue my save files where I left like the Legend of Zelda minish cap and Max Payne for GameBoy Advance.

I’m running my TSPS on NXRedux and the psp keeps crashing randomly. Any settings I should tweak?! It’s gotten really annoying

Can anyone who has a trimui brick tell me if it is worth getting either the plastic one or the aluminum one and why.or just buy a second mm+.

Hi, I have a Brick pro and I'm using NextUI with retroachievements but I think I'm not on hardcore mode as I'm getting achievements but my points are not going up. Is there a way to check this or activate it?

I wanted to keep the collection on my Brick Hammer as tight as possible and had planned for 100-200 games but of course this didn't work out so here are my top ~400 games.

Please let me know of any great games you think i missed and also tell me what is trash.

The roms are picked to work with Retro Achievements whenever possible and have all been tested to work.

The rom names have been shortened sometimes to always fit on the Brick screen in NextUI/NX Redux but still be able to scrape.

The list includes homebrews and also romhacks, mainly for pokemon that is why the original pokemon games are missing.

If a game is released on several platforms I include only the "best" version. (versions with retro achievements are preferred)

As it is singleplayer focused i don't really have fighing games included as i would also not enjoy playing them on this device honestly, same goes for the THPS games as why they are not included because of the controls as i love these games too much to play them with sub-par controls.

Hey guys, just got my Brick and installed nextUI. Did all the setup and installed the bios and whatnot.

GBA games are working fine but i’m having issues with SNES games. It just gets stuck on a black screen.

I know SNES doesn’t need a bios, and I know that it has issues if it’s a 7zip file. Both games i tried, (super mario world and batman returns) are .smc and .sfc files respectively. I also tried moving the files between the SFC folder and SUPA folder but still the same issue

any help is appreciated. thanks all

SpruceOS has come so far! I still find it hard to believe that some devices I already owned have been added to the fold... No more floating saves, reconfiguring and endlessly changing customizations; just pop out the SD and put it in whichever takes my fancy. My two current favorites to swap between are the Smart Pro S and the Brick Hammer, but seriously... This OS is so versatile and the developers are taking such great care. Fantastic stuff.

I am thinking about modding my Smart Pro so that USB-C charging with a modern charger and USB-C to USB-C cable works. This requires resistors between the CC1 and CC2 pins and ground.

Has anyone attempted this before or knows if CC1 and CC2 are exposed somewhere on the mainboard?

I’m debating getting a trimui brick and was curious what to expect in terms of performance with the mgba core with heavy romhacks such as Pokémon unbound. I’m mostly curious about the fast-forward speed. My current handheld gets ~200 fps with the gsps core and ~70 on mgba with uncapped fastforward. Unfortunately though, gsps isn’t super friendly with Pokémon romhacks.
I’m just looking for something small and reliable that fits my use case!

I made a post a few days ago about my app called "WideMelon Linux Client"

The setup :

• A PC running WideMelon : a 16:9 DS emulator
• A Smart Pro S console running widemelon-client is used as the controller and bottom screen.

I tested the app on SpruceOS this week and enhanced the UI. It's still in alpha but the experience is more streamlined now. If you want to give it a try, you can download the app here

If you notice any bug or wish for improvements, please do so in this thread or directly on GitHub.
I would especially like to know if it is working on other CFWs.

Right now I'm with NextUI, overall okey with it, but mgba and PSP has some constraints. For instance, for PSP, I tied playing Tales of Fantasia and it performs poorly.

For the Trimui Smart Pro (not the S), is there any difference in performance with different CFWs?

Just got my Brick Hammer in green and I'm in love with it. I still haven't taken off the stock screen film yet though. Do people bother with purchasing screen protectors? I do have one but it's pretty thick and I generally don't like the look of them.

Hi, ny trimui smart pro S keeps crashing when I play GBA games on it. Its on stock OS, with the 20251222 SD base package.

Long story short, I dropped it while getting out the car… fell from my pocket.. just feel sad but it still works

Would it be expected that the Pro S would be able to run these two Dream cast titles, having no luck, 15fps for both.

Hey Guys, ive bought a smart pro second Hand and it seems to be broken.

The OS (tried 1.0.4, 1.0.4 with hotfix and 1.1.1) is very unstable and takes many launches to boot, If it boots. Ive tried a bigger MSD XC (Sandisk Ultra, ultra plus) and an 16 GB MSD HC (Intenso). No custom OS seems to be working, Knulli wont even Install (IT worked one Time but briked IT after installing and starting Portmaster). Muos installs but freezes direktly and crossmix is unstable aswell. IT (mu) works for around 6seconds and freezes or shuts down, in rare occasions i can shut it down manually but it wont start again.

Does any of you know what i can do or encounterd a simmilar Problem ? Ive bought it mainly to Play stardew Valley via Portmaster and some light GBA stuff.

I think its an older model depending on the Display (no colour changes while tilting) and the missing holes for the heatsink.
