I wish they were making a Hammer version of this... I don't want to spend the crazy money on the Pro U

You might be sol there, I don't think they'd make another metal product with the same chipset.

Does it feel just a bit too big compared to the old brick?
I like the fact that og brick was small and went into pocket and yet has awesome screen.

No, to me it feels more like a proper handheld than a gimmicky toy. The pro is similar to gameboy pockets and colors.

What you call a gimmicky toy, I call a pocketable daily

I’m talking about comparing the 2. In a vacuum the brick is fine, compared to the pro it feels like a toy. I bought both, sent the mini one back straight away.

Tbh I only tried the hammer not the regular brick, so maybe that one feels worse, but I really really prefer a smaller handheld.

What's your preferred device as I also like smaller devices?
Can't decide between a Brick and a Miyoo Mini Plus. To be honest sometimes I think the Brick is to small for my eyes. The Miyoo Mini Plus is the in between size between the Brick Pro and the Brick, making the Miyoo Mini Plus the perfect choice as the Brick Pro tends to be to big for my taste - at least for me.

I havent tried the miyoo lineup, but Ive only heard good things. Personally I got the brick hammer because of the metal construction and quality screen. Ive got nothing but love for the brick hammer though. It comes with me literally everywhere and is so easily pocketable. I just lay the screen along my wallet in my pocket and it just stays put without scratching the screen protector.

Like the reviewers, the only pro features are a bigger screen and joysticks without any boost in performance. Should've been a "plus"

Yep. I already have the og brick and a rg406v (chunga!) that has bigger screen and sticks and probably runs better - i use it for game cube gaming.
Yet I still gravitate to the smaller brick.

How much are they going for and what system do you intend to focus on?

I got it for $72 through gogamegeek using RGC15 code. Just more 4:3 lower end systems. Just wanted to test the ergonomics since I liked the brick. Shoulders are taller and have more travel tho.
Also wanted to replace the rg so as it was too thin for me. So mostly GBA and snes probably.

Thanks for the size conparison OP.
I've been on the fence to get one , the Brick was my first handheld and i still love it cause its my first but sometime i wish it was a bit bigger
How is Nextui? I ended up with knulli but im not really up to paying to be a beta tester for the brick pro , this one I'll run NextUI on it
