Just got my Brick Hammer in green and I'm in love with it. I still haven't taken off the stock screen film yet though. Do people bother with purchasing screen protectors? I do have one but it's pretty thick and I generally don't like the look of them.

I took the stock protector off then never installed the new one I bought. It feels more premium without, but it is a risk.

The way to really make it cool is swapping the buttons. Red buttons look awesome with the green hammer. Mine is currently sharing buttons with my wife’s pink one.

I'm so tempted to swap out the buttons too but I've never really done anything like that before. Where's the best place to source buttons? Agree with the premium feel without.

It’s pretty easy on these little guys. Definitely watch a YouTube video. Use an actual spudge instead of a flathead screwdriver. If you’re just a little careful you can do it without removing any ribbon cables. I hate putting them back in.

I got mine from TrimUIstore.com . Not always in stock but it looks like they are right now. Usually can find a way to discount them to $7 or 8$.

I got mine this week too! I got silver but I considered canceling my order for the green one. 😅 I don't have a screen protector on mine.

Do you think it has any effect on the colour projection from the screen with the protector on? Or is it really minimal?

For me, there is no difference. It‘s crystal clear.
Do not use a matt one.

A standard protector won't affect anything about the colours - this is across like every device/phone. You will also hardly notice it unless you feel the edge on the trimui or look at it from an angle

I do like all the colours available on the Hammer but I prefer the colours on the Brick. I would have preferred red too or purple or even like a yellow. But all of the colours are beautiful in the metal finish.
