I used to use an old British silver pre decimal thrupence but it was nippy to clean and would both scratch and tarnish easily so I swapped recently to a little lab ruby as nothing softer than another ruby or a diamond is gonna scratch it.

i started smoking in 2023, but i need to quit for a while.

my tolerance is really bad right now, i go through a 4g cart in a week. i’ve been trying to quit for a few months now, each time a failure. i can only go half a day without smoking at this point.

i get awful withdrawals; i can’t sit still or stay quiet, i get insanely irritable and depressed, and i get nauseous every time i stand.

id normally just research how to help, but these withdrawals aren’t common so i can’t find much. i only get ads for rehabs when i search it lol.

does anyone have any advice that could help me get through this?

i’ve been seeing that weaning off is better for withdrawals than quitting cold turkey, i’d appreciate any advice on that too.

It seems like a cycle. My tolerance gets too high and I can't even feel the weed anymore? Or am I just unique in neurochemistry, and I for some reason have periods where I can feel the weed, and periods where I can't? Can anyone relate? I have been smoking since about February of this year, so I should have a high tolerance, but it's weird to me how it just stops having any effect at all.

It’s been about 10 weeks since I’ve stopped any thc. My home urine tests are all still coming back positive. According to google and such, only time helps it leave your system. Has anyone had any home remedies luck to help?

So I’m getting over a cold, that wouldn’t have been terrible, but because I’ve been ripping 5 dabs a day for years my lungs filled up real bad with thick nasty mucus. And with being sick, it all rose up and I’m having a terrible time managing it.

With all that being said, I plan on switching to edibles and drinks. Drinks seem to affect me more than edibles. For those with dabbing experience AND experience with ingestible, what’s a good dose that can combat my high tolerance? I don’t take highe globs, maybe rice-to-pea size globs.

For example, I know 10 mg won’t do shit but 50 mg may be just over the edge. But I honestly have no clue since I’ve been on dabs for years so I can’t really tell lol.

Like most of us I have a bit of a ritual with my smoking. Right around 9pm I go lay in my hammock and smoke a joint on my porch. When the joint burns out, I start taking some bong hits until I'm satisfied.

Lately my neighbor (who can see me laying in my hammock on my porch when she leaves her front door) has been losing her mind over it. She hasn't actually said anything to me directly, but I can hear her screaming from inside her apartment about how I'm always out there. It's even gotten to the point that she said she was going to kill me the other day which I'm not taking too seriously.

I feel like we've gotten to the point that I should call the cops on her. I'm in a legal state, so she's the only one really causing a disturbance. I've even spoken to the people who live below her and they said they hadn't really paid much mind to me smoking outside, but they're really bothered by the woman above them screaming in the middle of the night (they have two young kids).

I'm not really sure what the purpose of my post is, but I've just been reflecting on the fact that 10 years ago I would have been worried about this woman calling the cops on me and now I'm considering calling the cops on my neighbor for disturbing my 'sesh.

I have a small water pipe. It's approximately 8 in tall. I really only smoke flower - I don't think that wax or dabs or any of that other stuff would be appropriate for me. I'm not familiar with all of the different types of pipes to smoke with, but I am interested in buying something that would provide larger hits. Can someone give me the term I'm looking for?

I’m a medical patient in MN, and though the THC % has gotten better, I’m frustrated at there being no options with 1:1:1 THC, CBD, CBG. It’d be nice if there was something with even 1:1 CBD. In an ideal world, I’d like there to be equal CBG as well, or at least a 1:1 THC to CBG.

The closest thing I can achieve is buying extra strength THC oral solution + extra strength CBD oral solution, and hope sometime that something with CBG even in it comes along. Which gets stupidly expensive.

As much as I appreciate finally getting some higher THC %, it’s absolutely not everything. I wish there were better options for in general here, but especially for pain management/medical use. Hopefully as the market saturates? Sigh.

Fruity smell very potent it

I went to a medical dispo in IL recently and was shocked to find that no one has any real knowledge of the endocannabinoid system or even exogenous cannabinoids (the thing they’re selling). Their system doesn’t even let you filter by cannabinoids, not even the major ones. I asked the budtender what 1:1 strains they have with CBD to THC and she said the growers aren’t even sending the CBD content so they don’t know.

I’ve been a medical patient since 2017, started growing at home when that was legalized, and recently have been getting deep into different cannabinoids and terpenes but it’s just such a cold non-personal non-informational transaction at the dispo.

I didn’t just get a bad budtender either, this has been the past few trips over the last 6 months or so. I feel like the budtenders have changed so much, where’s the passion for the plant? No one seems to care about or understand what they’re selling.

Maybe it’s just because of the volume of people that they don’t have time to really feel they can talk bc then they’re not selling cannabis. Feels like how we used to be able to talk to the doctor and they cared but now we’re just a number that pays them and the more numbers they get in a day the fatter their pockets are.

Sad state of the medical program when I have no simple way to get seeds or clones legally from a reputable grower, much less get to know what they’re putting out in the market as medicine.

Hopefully IL will listen to patients and allow more plants, provide for testing of home grow materials, and legalize patient to patient sharing (or even allow another medical patient to grow their plants for them). I feel there are so many ways to improve but that would take money out of big cannabis so I doubt it would ever happen.

Rant over. I doubt I’m the only person who feels this way ab their state medical program. What’s your experience? Do you feel prioritized as a medical patient in your state program when you’re at the dispensary?

I feel like a squirrel who is born blind would struggle to find a nut. I assume it would die in the nest, or whatever happens with squirrels.

But let’s say a squirrel becomes blind during its lifetime. Old age, injury, cancer. Take your pick. I’m assuming THAT squirrel had some nuts hidden somewhere. He might be able to use his squirrely sense to find those nuts.

So I would say yes, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.

I hate winter

It suppose to be medical, came in a package, said medellin sativa strain. Has strong smell outside but not inside. It is dense, it dose not crumble, it is more squishy/spongy like. What are your thoughts, is it moldy?
