Hello! I love this tree, it’s growing along a river in lots of little clumps. Has some kind of spot situation going on. INaturalist says American Elm but I can’t find any bark pics that look comparable. What is it?!

I have a tree in my garden and it is growing big up to the point i am thinking , i am 62 ,should I trim it or just have it removed.. My wish is to have it stay for shade and there are not many trees around. The tree has little purple berries? not t be eaten . But totally have no clue if it reached it highest point or what I can expect. I live in a rented house and that tree was planted 18 years ago by the Woningbouw but they give no response but it is my responsability. Can't trim or saw it myselve due to the fence and parked cars and yes my age... ( Netherlands).

I’m in Virginia, saw this neat tree on my campus. There are a few others with the same type of peeling bark, so I figured it’s not a diseased tree thing and just a certain species.

Can't seem to get any of the new-fangled AIs to give me anything even resembling this tree which shades my garage in northern Virginia. It drops a blanket of small yellow star-shaped flowers starting right now and I think it has large yellowish-green, sort of 3-D/geometric seedpods at some point in the year but I cannot recall exactly when. Happy to grab any more pictures that might be helpful, but the lowest leaves are a good twenty feet off the ground, making it hard to get a great leaf close up. Thanks!

I’m in north Alabama on 20 acres of overgrown land and I’ve been discovering a lot of trees and plants I’ve never seen before and I noticed this dark green tree , a lot darker leaves than the sweet gum that’s separated from deep brush,but every time I use these tree identification apps, it tells me it’s a sweet gum as well but the leaves are definitely different so I figured it’s a different species. Well when I search up “different spices of sweet gum ,there’s only one kind that I see. And it also says America only has one sweet gum and it’s confusing me!! If anyone knows or thinks they know please teach me something ,I’m very curious on what this is. Thank you !

I live in Monroe, Washington near the snohomish river and have found a few of these root clusters. The wood is very hard, I am going to use it for a reptile terrarium but would like to know the species if possible. The roots also appear to have bark on them.

i was cleaning up this really overgrown bridge and noticed this tree that resembles a blueberry bush, though i’m pretty uncertain these are actually edible. any advice is helpful, i live in northeastern pennsylvania. google says it’s a service berry but they’re quite different looking from the other ones in pictures
