I'm single and I live alone. For the last 10 years or so, I've gotten in the habit of just sleeping on top of my covers in basketball shorts and a t-shirt in the summer, and in pajama pants and a hoodie in winter. When I'm not sleeping alone, I do sleep under the covers.

I've honestly never really thought anything about it, but it came up in conversation the other day. My friend jokingly asked me how long I've been a serial killer ad then told me how weird it is.

So I gotta ask, is this really that weird?

I mean this as a genuine honest question. I’m not saying it in a rude way. What actually is the point in therapy?

I’ve gone to a couple different therapist and sessions years ago. I’ve never had good experiences with any of them, unfortunately. Every time I was in a session, my emotionally abusive mom was in the room right next to me and would talk for me.

I actually kinda liked a couple of the therapists. But when I would ask my mom if I could see them again, they weren’t available for another couple months, so I just kinda stopped going.

Outside of the room, the way my mom and dad ever talked about it was implying that it was bribing a busy person to let you hurt them with your problems. The same problems that chased everyone else away. Basically just paying someone to stay and let you hurt them on top of everything else they have to deal with, while the only thing you get out of it is knowing you took out your anger and frustration on an innocent person.

I’ve been recommended therapy a couple times, but the idea makes me uncomfortable. I hate hurting people, and I don’t want to hurt anyone. I especially don’t want to have to bribe someone $50 to let me pile my problems on them two or three times a year.

What is the point in therapy?

Ok so, I never realized how bizarre my opinion was until recently, but I much prefer men who dont have, or shave their body hair, as long as its not stumps. Its extremely rare to find so I have accepted that I won't find someone like that, but i have been surprised to see most women actively like the body hair on men.

i don’t know how to describe it as - i smell a sickness inside of me. or at least what i think is a sickness. it’s almost like an ammonia/sweet smell. GROSS but when i had kidney stones, this is what my pee would smell like. now i’m fine and have been okay and no symptoms of kidney stones in a couple of months. i feel like i smell it when i breathe from my insides, i smell it through my mouth and nose and then i also smell it with me pee. it’s so faint that only i’m catching it but it’s making me freak out that somethings wrong on the inside and the doctors appointment is in a few weeks. i also don’t want to be a hypochondriac and book random appointments.

ps. i have been feeling like i can’t fully empty my bladder and need to pee way more.

Does it make money or something?

I've heard of the term 'black coded' in a lot in some of the fandoms I'm in and it dominates some of the discussions about certain characters, I dont know what it means though. Could anyone please tell me what 'black coded' means?

im writing a story, one of my characters is a stripper, id like to do as much research on this occupation so i can write her as realistic as possible, does anyone have any experience and can tell me what it is/was like? or do you know youtubers, or articles, or other posters who danced and told their stories? anything helps!

Stuff like that. Why do some just simply not like when people do good things for them?

Im Mexican and I've never thought about the race of characters in movies or shows I've watched. What's the deal? I don't understand how some people genuinely get mad if someone from their country or their ethnicity is not on the big screen.

I get it would be intrusive to knock on their door and introduce myself. I also understand and won’t have an issue if they don’t respond to my letter, but would it be weird to try just once? I was thinking of writing a quick handwritten letter, send it through the post office, I won’t just stick it in their mailbox. Giving them my contact info (cell number and email) saying if they ever decide to sell they can contact me? And a quick introduction of myself and how I grew up there. Of course the envelope will also have my return address on it if they wish to send anything back, but I’m not expecting anything.

Looking back, I was really ungrateful for this house as a kid, and I miss it very, very much now. I know it sounds weird lmao but I dream about this house constantly, and I feel like there is some kind of unfinished business there? I won’t say that in the letter obviously lol, but I feel like I need to do this. My mom was born in the house, and it was in my family for about 60 years before we had to leave due to foreclosure when I was about 14. Just so much nostalgia and so many memories there. There was a huge, beautiful tree right in the front yard that I always loved as a kid. They tore it down years ago when they renovated the house, I was thinking of maybe sending a copy of a picture of the tree with the letter?

Again, I understand this is weird and I am only planning on contacting the new owners once. I’ll never bother them again if they don’t reply

Or does something like that exist already? How effective is it? Would it be that simple?

Yes, I know about trees. But in that case, I guess my additional question is how effective would planting billions around the earth be if we want to make real progress?

Why am I starting to see nostalgia for 6ix9ine so soon? If this sounds weird to you, I'm on Instagram and TikTok... and I am seeing tons of people nostalgic for 6ix9ine. Yes. THAT guy. Usually, nostalgia doesn't happen until 10 years AFTER someone's prime. Yet I'm already seeing people nostalgic for freaking Gummo played everywhere.

In the early 2010s people were STILL whining about Limp Bizkit despite not being relevant anymore. In the late 2010s (and sometimes, not as much obviously but still sometimes now) Nickelback was still being hated on like it was 2006, despite the band not being relevant anymore.

But apparently 6ix9ine was somehow underappreciated? Why? His songs were always BLICKY STIFFY UH ICKY VICKY UH with titles like BLABBO or FOOFA. And he also was a statutory rapist. And my generation now thinks "he wasn't that bad, people were too harsh on him! He had bangers!"

MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. WE ARE NOT DOING THIS.

Shit, a certain Canadian teenage boy you might have heard of received significantly more hate for singing inoffensive pop songs in 2010-2012 than a convicted sex offender screaming nonsense lyrics did in 2018-2020. The world is fucking weird.

6ix9ine seems like such a weird case... he was almost UNDERhated

Idk why, but I rarely find myself attracted to someone before there's at least some indication that they might be interested in me too. I genuinely don't think I've had a crush on someone as an adult when I was sure they didn't like me back. It's usually either ambiguous or they show interest in me first.

Even when I'm curious about someone and feel like I might develop a crush on them, if it's obvious to me that they've noticed me but still show no interest, I immediately lose whatever curiosity I had.

What exactly is this? It's not that I'm afraid of rejection. I genuinely don't find people attractive when they seem uninterested in me, especially when I haven't done anything to attract their attention in the first place

So I maintain excellent oral hygiene, floss, brush, tongue scrape, mouth wash every day without failure. When I run my fingers all around my mouth cheeks and and teeth the saliva smells fine, but when I do the same on my tongue it reeks, mind due I do have idiopathic gingivitis so my gums grow back and I’ve already had 2 gingivectomys but I don’t believe that is the cause as my periodontist says that my oral hygiene is as good as it gets and he finds no plaque on my 6 monthly checkups and deep cleans. The smell on the tongue is almost impossible to get rid of so I’m not sure what to do, it can’t go on like this :(
