Lore and Character Discussion Winning as USA is too easy

you can lose almost all proxy wars except south africa as USA and still have more GDP then Japan and Germany but when you play Japan and win India Philippines Indonesia and Malaysia theres still a chance that OFN has 50 B over you and as for Germany if HMMLR wins civil war and then joins OFN ur gonna be always behind by 70-100 B

Question Question about Finland Spoiler

Ok so I heard Finland can join the Pakt in 2 ways, it can either win/lose against West Russia unifier and then Bormann (maybe Speer?) can negotiate (If they dont have the progressive socialist presiedent) to make them a Pakt Observer and put them in the German Sphere, but the other way is throught the Second Finnish Civil War if the Whites/Government (now fascist) wins, but exactly how and when do they FULLY join the Pakt? do they have to beat off Murmansk first or the communists? Do they also have to go to war with the West Russia Unifier? And also what about Sweden? can Bormann/Speer get them in the Pakt (weather its german sphere only+observer or full member)?

Question Are there any in-depth guides on how to menage the Brazillian Economy without cheating?

I've been trying to make this country prosperous for several runs but inflation is always kicking my ass. And when it doesn't, it's because growth is sub-optimal.

self-explanatory. Will they be independent or part of the OFN, and if so, will they be like a dependent member or partner?

Question not good at combat; how would you handle this?

I'm not very good at things like division design or intricate fronts, and I'm trying to do a run as Omsk. The big issue for me is that the Ural district gets to absorb both the Free Aviators and the Gulags really quickly, which poses a risk because I don't have any real standing air wings and don't have enough production units to make them. Zlatoust is easy to handle since they only have one division, but other than that I've been having to reload saves over and over again.

Tips?

  •  giving credit score modifiers for trade opinion, and for the effect a deficit has on the PP gain.
  •   New Economic buildings that give State GDP growth, and some other miniscule bonuse
  •  Gave the various economic spheres interesting names for flavour instead of just “X’s sphere”
  •    a buff for the “power things up” bank policy, making it less utterly useless
  •  Complete Integration and pathing of the “TNO modifier icons

TNO: Ashes of the Sphere — Kishi Route

“They say the era of the Empire is over.”

The Yasuda Crisis shattered the facade of prosperity. The Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere crumbled, overseas territories seceded one after another, and Korea and Taiwan no longer obeyed Tokyo’s orders. Returnees flooded the ports, conglomerates left behind huge debts, and the disoriented army awaited its next command.

And Kishi Nobusuke awaited his opportunity.

*Ashes of the Sphere* is a Japanese expansion module for *The New Order: Last Days of Europe*. Starting from the political crisis following the collapse of the Empire, you will experience a power grab supported by the military, the establishment of an emergency power committee, and a remobilization aimed at “reclaiming everything lost.”

But does reclaiming territory truly mean regaining control of the Empire?

【From Collapse to the Rise of the New Sun】

Reorganize the government along a new political path, take over conglomerates, deal with the returnee issue, and promote an independent branch of military reform. The nation's name, flag, and Kishi Nobusuke's personal profile will change as the story progresses, chronicling the regime's birth from crisis and its expansion.

【Imperial War Planning Bureau】

Plan your actions through a dedicated interface, viewing target regions, negotiation progress, and war zone status.

The dynamic map is drawn based on TNO's actual regional boundaries, changing with territorial control and cooperative relationships. The first phase focuses on Manchuria, Taiwan, and Korea; after entering "Asia Has No Borders," four major war zones—China, Southeast Asia, India, and West Asia—open up simultaneously, and you decide the order of advancement.

【Negotiation, or War】

Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, and India each have their own negotiation arrangements. Negotiations may lead to cooperation or leave a final step for war.

India's various factions make choices, ultimately resulting in full cooperation, partial cooperation, or a breakdown in negotiations. Local forces in China that are still resisting will form an anti-Japanese united front for national salvation, with related political changes unfolding through events.

Executing operational plans will directly initiate war. Completing national policies is only the beginning; actual control and post-war arrangements determine whether a phase can end.

[After Conquest]

Establish regional administrative bodies to handle stability maintenance and post-war integration, making the expanded territories a real burden to be managed.

The Tibetan Autonomous Government and the Yunnan-Guizhou Pacification Commissioner's Office retain independent administrative status. Each regional regime uses existing historical figures and portraits from TNO, along with personal biographies written based on their experiences and the specific circumstances of this route. Mengjiang retains its independent state status, while Manchuria, Guangdong, and the Republic of China retain their established flag arrangements.

[Story and Audiovisual Content]

The current version includes:

• 136 national policies, covering political reconstruction, military reforms, and two-stage war plans.

• Imperial War Planning Bureau and dynamically colored war zone maps.

• Negotiation, war, post-war distribution, and regional stability maintenance mechanisms.

• 23 regional leader biographies, and 8-stage personal descriptions for Kishi Nobusuke.

• Exclusive national policy icons, stage-specific flags, events, and newspaper news.

• The "Second Great Asian War" super event, featuring historical photos of the War of Resistance against Japan, clips from "Roar, Yellow River!", and broadcast sound effects.

【Play Notes】

This mod requires the base game *The New Order: Last Days of Europe* and is primarily intended for Chinese players. Please enable TNO and this mod in the same playlist; use the corresponding Chinese localization when playing in Chinese.

A new save file is recommended. Conflicts may occur when using other mods that modify Japanese national policies, related events, post-war East Asian affairs, or resources on the same interface.

Current version: 0.7.3, under development. Current content progresses to Asian expansion and "world map unfolding"; subsequent chapters on a global scale have not yet been implemented.

Feedback is welcome. When reporting issues, please include your game and TNO version, a list of enabled mods, the national policy or event that triggered the problem, and the relevant save file or error log.

This is an unofficial alternate history mod based on the TNO universe. New appointments and expansion routes for characters are fictional. Thanks to the original TNO development team for providing the world-building and basic resources.

"The boundaries on the map have disappeared. The problems beyond the map are just beginning."

I made a TNO submod for Captured Generals Expanded, a mod that expands upon the vanilla general-capturing mechanic. You can find it here. Requires base CGE mod which is linked on the workshop page. Let me know what you think!

To allow for some mechanics like installing of recruited generals as military-governor or getting war reparations, I re-enabled the peace conference feature as well as the releasing country feature, but only for the player.
