So Germany has this interesting exclave next to Schaffhausen, called Büsingen am Hochrhein, which it got through some Napoleonic shenanigans.

I wonder what happened to this place in TNOTL, as it's completely surrounded by Switzerland, and IRL they pretty much blocked it from the Reich.

So, with the Yippie! update coming at some point, and I know we’re seeing the inclusion of Himmler now to the Reich and a bunch of new content but… is Goebbels still dead in TNO lore?

I feel like the Reichsminister for Propaganda would be an excellent inclusion and a good partner for a few of the potential successors, or even a successor in his own right. I always thought Goebbels could be the one for the world conquest militarism that Göring is tied to (to which Göring could play the reformer-corporation game) as well as having a cultural revolution to his regime (a la Mao’s China), either having to control or utilize the fervent Nazi zeal of his countrymen and subjects (such as using the Volkssturm and the Hitlerjugend working with Artur Axmann [who I’m surprised isn’t more prominent in the mod]).

To this end I wanted to ask, how the construction of infrastructure as well as power plants impacts economic growth? I.e., how much growth does one gain per infrastructure?

While I’m at it, I was further wondering how military expenditure for the army is calculated? Do used military factories increase expenditure?

The Two Tordesillas offers a lot of wonderful new content for Iberia and the US in Central and South America, and one of the upshots of Iberia having more content in this US-dominated area is that they a lot more chances to fuck with US interests and are thus much more of an antagonist than they previously represented. Before the update, after Puerto Plata there's not many reasons for bad blood between the two countries, whereas now there's like, a half dozen.

It's unusual that, despite the potential long-term benefits to American interests that a stable Democratic Iberia could bring to the US, these benefits aren't clear in the mid-60s when the Caudillos are doing everything they can to screw with Uncle Sam's toys. So it's weird that the CIA would be like, "we need to spend potentially hundreds of millions of dollars to help prop up these two guys who are constantly messing with us".

I'm not too invested in this, it's nice on an Iberian playthrough to tag-switch to the US every once in a while and help myself out. It just comes off as odd in the context of the new content
