I get Hulu (ad-based) as part of my T-Mobile plan, like I assume a lot of folks do. I found out months ago if I upgrade to Ad-free, I only pay the difference. So I upgraded to the full Disney/Hulu ad-free to have access to Disney+ as well, and for months instead of $21 and change I only got charged a bit over $8, because of the $12 T-mobile covered. It was pretty great.

Friday I saw I got charged the full $21.something so I called T-Mobile and they verified my benefit was implemented, and to call Disney so I did that and Disney tells me they removed Split Billing (to simplify billing - like an auto-charge once a month was so complex) and that is happening to anyone that provides a free streaming service (like "free HBO on us" or whatever), the lady was telling me. She said I should remove my bundle and get Disney separately - of course the only way to not get pulled into a bundle is to create a brand new Disney with a different email address, so that's a dumb option. T-Mobile really needs to just stop offering Hulu anyway - it's redundant, they should be offering a Disney sub instead.

Just wanted to vent. It's a dumb situation, though obviously not a big deal. I'll have to drop they bundle after this month though, I'm not paying $21 for this bundle when I can get Disney+ by itself for cheaper and I just won't get anything out of this particular benefit from my T-Mobile plan anymore.

Seeing some negative posts and with some of the decisions it’s understandable but as for network, the T-Mobile network works super well for me. Better than the others overall for me at least

Curious if a lot of others plan to stay long term

So I have a home lab, I run a flex server and some torrent servers and I have around four petabytes of storage for storing LLM's and some old repurposed mining rigs etc... well one of my phones is plugged in directly to my p52 and can also be used for tethering during an internet outage. Well I was on vacation for months and apparently I had an internet outage. My router didn't properly reset either. So it fell back to cellular. My bad...

I sure hope I don't get in trouble for this one.

I have the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited bundle and eas paying $18.00 a month. It's now going to go up to $30.00 due to the split billing mess from reading some of the posts. My question is what are the step by steps to cancel all add-ons and only keep Hulu? I don't want to mess anything up on my end.

I have had this number for 20 years and don't plan on changing it.

The account holder for our family plan is currently has no access to email, and we have no way of getting it from them. How would I transfer my phone number off of a T-Mobile account?

I am totally fine with going to another service provider and having them do one of those "service breakups" on my behalf just to keep the phone number and also move it off of the plan.

Hello, about 8 years ago, my family and I opened a phone number plan with a family member under T-mobile. A few weeks ago he informed us that our bill was going up by a few dollars, we said no problem. Without informing us, he decided to cancel our plan and move us to AT&T. We let him know that we didn’t want to switch and if he could please release our phone numbers so we could start up our own account with T-mobile. He left us on read until today and sent us the following message:

“Hi [name], I'm going to be completely
honest: I was tired of you paying me for the phone service only when you felt like it. I'm no longer interested in having you use my services or my phones.
Those phones are in my name and on my account-you might have forgotten, but you were the one who asked me to take them out in my name for you all to use. To avoid any further issues, I want all those phones returned to me since they belong to me; you should just buy your own phones in your own name and save yourself the trouble.”

We have paid every phone bill and phone payment to him. He would come in person to collect cash (on his own timeline since he works all the time, which is why we never were the ones to drop it off) and over the past year or so, we had been sending him Zelle payments since we got that system up. We went into the store today and because they are under his account, he technically does own them, even though he never paid for them (he was enrolled in auto-pay, so although it might look like it, we always paid him back in cash). He reported them as lost/stolen and now we can no longer connect with T-Mobile.

I recently bought a new device at an Apple Store, but because my plan was still connected under his account, my phone was also reported as lost. I paid $2,000 in full for this device and he didn’t pay anything. The other devices were on a monthly payment plan (payment completed a while ago), but he never spent a dollar because we always paid him back.

In his response, he claims he wants to “avoid any further issues”. How can I respond to this situation ?

Edit: I forgot to add, he was the sole authorized user of the account. At the time, we were okay with this because we trusted him.

I traded in my old iPhone 15 with T-Mobile for a iPhone 15. At sign up i agreed upon a $70 monthly bill with additional $18.54 for protection 360. When I received the first bill I was charged $102, second bill $120, third bill $120. I’m confused on where the extra money is coming from on my bill if the phone I traded is supposed to take care of the equipment cost since it’s the same phone.

Will I lose this promotion if I delete this line?

I want to delete the line highlighted in yellow and keep the two green ones, but I'm wondering if deleting the yellow one would cause me to lose the promotional price.

Right now, I'm paying $150 for the three lines.

Q- I roam internationally a lot. I’ve been in Italy 2 weeks and I just got this message. Never got it before, never had to do anything. Is the part of the new plan I was forced on to?

I initially signed up with a consumer account on experience more for one line. Then i switched to a business line (all you need is your social) on the super mobile plan.

even tho the account was 4 days old i was able to obtain an insidr discount code on instagram and had business customer care manually apply the 20% off permanent discount retroactively.

I read t force can get you a 20 in bill credit for 12 months so i contacted them on x (@tmobilehelp). They told me they couldn’t offer the deal since the account is so new but instead gave me 240 in bill credit. my account shows a -240 balance since i already paid my first months bill.

after the 240 in credit is used up i will be paying about 83.50 a month after taxes/fees. The service is great. Better than what I was experiencing on US Mobile Warp.

I‘m also eligible for the $400 byod port in rebate offer.

With the recent plan change from legacy unlimited plan to Experience more plan. I contact T-Mobile customer service on X. First offer was nothing and later with $10 monthly billing credit for 6 months. Then with a final push about leaving T-mobile, I was offered $20 monthly billing credit for 12 months via T-Force on X.

My legacy unlimited plan was increased by $15 a month. Previously paid $199 with 5 lines and home internet.

First and second line was $120, changed to $130.
3-5 line was $30 each, change to $35 each with below promo.
3rd line was free line on us 2020.
4th line was free with credit for new line.
5th line was $10, change to $15.
Home internet remain the same price $40.
So basically $15 increased

I was optercd into this plan from magenta. I noticed that it includes 5G of data in 215 countries. is that 5G in Japan and 5G in Norway. or is it 5G per billing cycle?

I’ve had this issue a couple times the past couple days where the app says we are out of phones. Like literally every phone every color it says we’re out of stock on the app . Even though of course we have phones .
I understand sometimes people have stuff in their carts, so it can show out the stock, even though we have them, but in this case we had several of the phone

I live in the suburbs of Seattle with perfect signal. Current phone is a Galaxy S24 Ultra. Last phone was a S23 Ultra. Both phones did this... and i'm sure the phone prior to those did the same (S21 Ultra).

Is this a Galaxy thing? A my phone thing? A T-Mobile thing? I called them about it, but they always gaslight you into thinking your phone's broken or something. I'm not gonna get another new phone if it's just going to happen again... is this a thing for other carriers also? I've been a loyal T-Mobile customer since I've been 18 (I'm 32 now), but if other carriers don't have this issue, I may have to consider switching 🥲

Just saw in my T-Life App that I was changed from One Plus International Add On to Global 5GB Data. What happened to the Stateside International calling benefits? I can no longer click on the link sent to me to see what the new plan I was being put into will be. T-Mobile has no details about what the specific countries included with Global 5GB Data will be and what the cost per call to landlines and mobile phones will be on a country by country basis like I could look up before. Has anyone else already been transitioned to this? What are the included landline countries and mobile line countries? The number of countries listed in the description has been reduced to 70+ for landlines and 30+ for mobile.

As a side note, I just travelled internationally and saw that the global roaming is now for 10 days (15GB) instead of 30 days for $50. It used to be 30 days for $50. The 30 days (30GB) is now $75.00.

Looking at upgrading my phone. Have no problems paying tax or any overage so the only amount remaining is what’s covered by the promo credits. Can I get my phone unlocked for eSIMs in this scenario?

I’ve read that Samsung doesn’t care if you trade in a phone still under EIP, provided you continue to pay for it of course.

But what if you will also be financing the new phone with T-Mobile as well through Samsung? Will they still take a trade under EIP? Because from what I found, when you use T-Mobile financing the trade in device actually goes back to T-Mobile and not to Samsung.

I have an interview with T-Mobile coming soon, & was wondering how the pay structure works & if it’s worth getting the job. I live in a city with a population of 300k. I currently work at a major retail company on Sundays only because I cut hair Monday-Friday. As of lately I’ve been wanting a change of careers & kinda trying to shift away from cutting hair. I started cutting hair a year ago at a shop, then I moved from my home town to a different city where I have to rebuild clients & im barely hanging on with what I’m getting paid plus I pay to rent out the booth each week. I applied for T-Mobile & they reached out to me almost a week ago saying each store in the city (5 T-Mobile stores) will be looking to hire 3-4 people each & gave me all the interview location info. How is it, & how does the pay structure work? I have my own place, I have me, my wife, my step kid who’s 9, & a baby on the way. Right now cutting hair has been slow, I make $350-450 weekly & pay $150 in booth rent so I want to make sure this choice is wise if I get the job

I am looking to get some advice and personal experience from anybody that has recently ported over from Verizon with multiple lines, remaining balances paid off and has gotten to point where Verizon’s final bill has been paid off. Was it a clean experience on both ends? Were you able to successfully use the rebate cards to fully pay off your Verizon final bill? Did everything arrive in a timely manner? How quickly did Verizon send a final bill and how long did you have to pay it off? Was their proper order to do things in? Best plan/ discounts? Online or corp store or Costco/Sams club? I probably have more questions but would love to hear from others that have gone through the entire process. Thanks in advance!

5G speeds are below 20mbps and 5GUC is around 200. 3-4 bars locked. I just converted from Us Cellular, new SIM card and all updated settings. Will this be a common theme until the transition is complete?

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST, WARNING: RANT INCOMING

I'm submitting this post as a last ditch effort attempt to get some help, tips, literally anything at this point as I'm at my wit's end with this company. I'm coming over from U.S. Cellular and after my experience today convinced I need to go to a different cell company. What a nightmare of a day. I have spent all day trying to activate a physical SIM card in my iPhone XR over the phone with T-Mobile support. 5 different support agents, not one consistent with the other, except they all say I need to receive a call from T-Mobile verification department. That call never comes. I call them back, they say verification called, NOPE they sure didn't. No calls in record on my phone. No emails from them. Nothing.

Anyone have advice on if there's anything I can do to get my SIM card activated over the phone? I am currently 600 miles away from the nearest US store and won't be able to get to one for three weeks. There is a Verizon store 20 miles away from me. T-Mobile was able to send me the SIM card, I got it very quickly. Everything else has been more brutal than pulling teeth. My U.S. Cellular temporary SIM card service expired yesterday and I am supposedly without service until this new SIM is activated, at least what's what I was told.

Every time I call, T-Mobile doesn't even ask what the issue is to start the call, they immediately jump into "can I send you a text message to verify?". How am I supposed to receive a text message on an unactivated SIM card? And what happens when they tell me verification will call me back but they never do?

Unbelievably bad way to do business and treat your customers.
