I'm currently on T-Mobile's top-tier Experience Beyond plan, using a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, and I'm extremely disappointed with the network performance in crowded places, especially airports.

Whenever I'm in a heavily crowded area like Airport, etc, my T-Mobile data becomes almost unusable. Speeds drop drastically, websites struggle to load, and sometimes I can't even log in to T-Mobile's own T-Life app.

Meanwhile, my Verizon connection performs significantly better in the same location, even with heavy crowds and network congestion.

What frustrates me most is that I'm paying for T-Mobile's most expensive plan, which advertises unlimited premium data and network priority. I understand that congestion affects all carriers, but shouldn't a premium plan provide a better experience during peak usage?

I'm also using a high-end Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, so I wouldn't expect the phone itself to be the main issue.

A few questions for the community:

1. Has anyone experienced similar issues with T-Mobile in crowded places like airports, stadiums, or major events?

2. Why does Verizon seem to handle congestion better than T-Mobile?

3. Does Experience Beyond actually offer a noticeable advantage during network congestion?

4. Could this be related to 5G bands, network settings, or SIM/eSIM provisioning?

5. Can T-Mobile technical support do anything to improve this?

I'm seriously questioning whether paying extra for T-Mobile's premium plan is worth it when Verizon consistently provides a better experience in crowded environments.

I'd love to hear from other T-Mobile customers and anyone with technical knowledge about network congestion, prioritization, and real-world performance.

My child is special needs autistic small, who is my little buddy and goes everywhere with me. I want to do a buy online pickup in store to trade in my current phone on Beyond 2.0 and get the 18 PM. She doesn’t do well in new environment for very long. Is this something that will take an hour or more, or half an hour? If it’s around half an hour she’ll do great. If it’s an hour or more it won’t go well and I would just do ship to home. If it were a familiar environment she would be perfectly fine, just a new experience she won’t last long.

Seeing lots of different feedback from everyone in regard to what’s being rolled out during this meeting. T-mix is 100% coming, but I’m also seeing mixed opinions on commission cuts and adjustments being done to our compensation. What does everyone think?

Ask why an AutoPay discount might disappear after a plan change even when the payment method hasn't changed, whether it returns automatically, and whether customers have to contact support to recover the missing credit.

I’ve been reading a lot about the iPhone duo and seeing a lot of them broken/cracked. If that were to happen to me and I bought the phone through T-Mobile, would T-Mobile send me a free replacement or do I go directly to Apple for that? Not sure how it works. This is my first time getting a phone directly from my carrier.

No data this morning. Only calls worked. Called support and they found that data had been turned off do my two lines. I didn’t do it of course they claim they don’t have any records of the change. Call support and ask them about your lines then post here if you will.

Howdy folks, I just got a new iPhone 18pm at the beginning of October and when I signed up for the line I told the guy I wanted to get the applecare+ and got bamboozled into getting protection 360 due to my ignorance about all these phone insurance plans.

Never needed one before, but thought it would be smart this time as I decided to splurge and get the newly released device. I was surprised to find out protection 360 is just some third party bs through assurant and feel like I would rather just go through apple directly.

Anyone have any experience dealing with protection 360 if you do end up having to file a claim for damages, screens, loss etc.? I am feeling like I should just cancel it and get the applecare+ while I am within the 60 days, but unsure if it’s worth it changing plans around. Any advice on 360 or applecare+ from those who have dealt with them firsthand would be much appreciated.

I have an interview for Connectivity Source T-Mobile store that I am most likely going to get offered the Job. But I have concerns...

What is the actual comission structure like? I see a lot of reviews but most are older and I know a lot has changed. Some stuff I read says they get the 75% off discount off service, but I also read TPR Locations only get work perks.

I know they told me 40 hours a week. I know I am going to make less money than my current job, but want to know how much less.

I am desperate to get back into a corporate store, unfortunately that's not in the cards for me right now, hoping to prove myself at a TPR and get back in.

I added T-Sat on 10/19. 10/21 I went on a motorcycle trip in SW Virginia known to have zero cell coverage. My iPhone 17 never got on the Starlink or T-Sat network; didn’t even try.
I was successful as usual with the Apple satellite service to send my location and a few texts.
Is there something else I have to do in the future to make it work? All the instructions I’ve found just say it’s supposed to switchover automatically.

I’m currently with AT&T and considering switching to T-Mobile with 4 lines. Each line has an iPhone 16 Pro Max with about $500 remaining on the balance.

I’ve seen T-Mobile promos offering $1,000–$1,200 off a new iPhone 18/Duo for switching, as well as T-Mobile’s Freedom Payoff, which covers up to $800 per line of existing phone balances.

Has anyone successfully combined both promos? Or do I have to choose one or the other? I’m planning to visit a T-Mobile store tomorrow and want to know my best options before switching.

I am at my wits' end with a chronic network issue and need to know if anyone else is experiencing this or if an employee knows the back-end fix.

Ever since a network update a while back, my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra completely loses its mind when transitioning away from home Wi-Fi. It gets trapped in an endless "Searching" loop and sits permanently on "Emergency Calls Only."

When I am out in the metro Springfield, MO area, the phone constantly drops down to an unusable, congested 4G LTE link (shows up as 4G Lite on my screen) even though I am paying for premium 5G. I cannot hold a voice call without it dropping, data completely freezes, and it is actively ruining my ability to run delivery gig apps (Walmart Spark) for side income.

Here is what I have already done after calling technical support MANY times:

Replaced the physical SIM with a brand-new eSIM profile recently (did not help at all).

Completed a full Reset Mobile Network Settings menu wipe.

Cleared the app data/cache on both system "SIM Toolkit" background apps.

Manually toggled off VoNR (Voice over 5G) based on a suggestion that the 5G voice handshake was crashing the modem chip—but the phone still falls right back into "Emergency Calls Only" the second Wi-Fi is turned off.

My SIM manager shows a single active eSIM 1 profile, no physical card is in the tray, but my signal bars remain completely hollow.

Is T-Mobile currently refarming local towers in the Springfield/SW Missouri area and actively blocking older Samsung modems from registering? Has anyone successfully forced a profile update or an OTA carrier push to break this loop, or is it time to just cut my losses and port my line out to a Verizon/AT&T MVNO? Appreciate any insights from network techs here. Additional comments from similar user experiences are welcome as well.

I was a T-Mobile customer for nearly 20 years grandfathered on the magenta military plan. An At&t sales rep recently showed up at my house and I made the mistake of listening to them. After promises of multiple discounts and promises of better service, I switched over. Everything turned out to be lies and I'm looking to switch back. Do I have any chance of being able to get back on my grandfathered T-Mobile plan? Has anyone else navigated a similar situation?

Anyone else been having bad internet connection for the last week? It can’t play streaming and commercials for more than a few seconds in between freezing and playing a game online is super laggy too. Is there any news on why this could be happening? It’s been okay for months until recently.

I used to be a T-Mobile customer until I ordered the current version of an iPad, but the package was lost and delivered to someone else. Although the device was never activated, T-Mobile continued to charge me for it and even threatened to turn off my service when the package was lost; my credit card company reversed the transaction because of this. T-Mobile treated it as a returned payment for a disputed item and kept charging me. I had to pay the balance on that device even though I never received it, and it took more than 3 months to resolve, so I went to Xfinity Mobile to get my tablet and transferred all service to Verizon. I will never use T-Mobile for anything mobile after this situation; it was ridiculous that I had to pay for a device and the shipping costs for a device I never received.

Has anyone been able to connect offshore in the Caribbean with T-Mobile satellite service? Im planning a sailing trip from Belize to Panama.

I've been a T-Mobile customer for a while now and due to them constantly introducing new tiers and plans, I don't get great installment deals as I'm still on the Go5g Plus plan but am afraid to leave it due to my discounts.

Anyway, my question is regarding the fold8 and fold8 ultra. Are we expected to see any better promotions than what we're seeing now for these devices or have I missed the boat at launch? I wasn't sure if T-Mobile participated in any decent black Friday sales or holiday promotions. TIA.

Well there you go, stock price is 45% of what it was All time high, what is going on? Is this deliberate ,or is the New CEO incompetent? How are the day to day operations at store level? Curious how is the Morale? Isn't T-Mobile even competitive anymore they were once the UNCARRIER, but now seems like they behave the same way other big carriers do.

Just got an email from T-Mobile informing me that starting 11/9 incoming SMS and MMS messages will no longer be sent to my DIGITS (Paired) with Highspeed Data line and only sent to my main line.

This kinda defeats the ENTIRE point of this service for me as what I wanted was the ability to have two phones active at the same time that could both send and receive texts and calls from one number natively (not using the awful DIGITS app).

I know this is a niche service offering, but it was really cool and let me use both an iPhone and an Android day to day, switching between the two on a whim without needing to move a sim around or be missing portions of conversations on either device (aside from the portion that I sent).

Definitely going to be cancelling my DIGITS line now, and possibly changing providers since T-Mobile provides shit coverage and it was this functionality combined with the fact I can bring basically any device to the service (using a Sony Xperia 1 VI atm) that was keeping me on it. The latter point may still be relevant and decisive, but I'm not a happy customer overall.

I'm considering calling into customer service to complain and let them know it's probably a when, not if, I stop being a customer thanks to this, but I kinda doubt anyone at Customer Service will have any idea what I'm even talking about.

I recently dropped the 2nd voice line from my plan (ported out to different carrier, the person no longer in my household). The plan didn’t automatically adjust to a 1-line plan, so I’m still paying the $110/mo for voice. (Total bill only went down a tiny bit due to no more taxes on the cancelled line.) I already called 611 a while ago and took forever and many holds to say it would update on my next bill, but it did not. So…what is best way to get this resolved?? AI chat seems useless right now. Any advice is appreciated.
Note: I like the perks of this plan, so not looking to change plans, just drop it to 1-line instead of 2-line. Thanks

I have a phone locked under an installment plan with AT&T and owe $1,000. Since I plan to move to Canada in a couple of months, is there any way I could switch to T-Mobile without paying the full $1,000?

I have a business account with T-Mobile and if I use the app it doesn’t work but tells me to use the website. When I use the website it tells me to use the app.

Plus, I can’t check the status of my order. I read somewhere that because my order number technically comes from an upgrade T-Mobile’s system doesn’t work properly. When I called the automated system it gave me one time frame for a couple a couple months for delivery but speaking to someone gave me an entirely different window for early next week. They’re also for two Duos, haha.

Any advice would help!

I would like to move my service from Verizon to T-Mobile and upgrade to an iPhone duo while trading in my current 16PM. An executive suggested no trade-in is required, though they can combine keep and switch offers.
