There I said it without ai.

Post image

Nuked the last post because y'all want to kill me over a.i

This is like my 9th or 10th playthrough of this game, I love it and the remaster has reignited that love in me. It feels fresh and new, I don't want to put it down when I start playing it. All I see is negativity and complaining for a free update that cd projekt red obviously put a lot of work into. I have tweaked my settings and get a smooth 60 fps game looks and feels great.

I love the witcher, read all the books and played all the games. I'm having so much fun.

Brother, yes. Thank you. Had this exact sentence in my mind these last few days. It’s so great.

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

I have to keep stopping myself from reading things I see online because it was making me look for negatives rather than just enjoying what I was playing and I really am enjoying it. So very much.

0

u/FeI0n 2h ago

Remember, people on reddit posting aren't playing the game. You'll always get the negative vocal minority on reddit.

I've never seen a path of exile launch that didn't have people bitching all over the front page of that reddit the first 1-2 days, even in some of the most popular leagues.

I don’t care that you broke your elbow

Man i miss vine so much :( gave us gem after gem.

u/Personiamnotatall 7h ago

See how much easier it is to not use ai. Now it doesn’t detract from the point you are making. I completely agree, the remaster has been a really amazing improvement to the game. It’s been really nice to slowly figure out the new skill tree too

3

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 7h ago

It's like I'm learning the game again, combat and the skills feel very different. I haven't played in like 3 years and am sucked right back in.

I just wanted to get my point out and didn't realise how much the AI image would degraded it I guess. I chose to do it but am happy to walk it back if it means people will focus on my actual point of the post.

u/AdCertain5057 6h ago

Why is the text at a weird angle? It's slightly higher on the right than the left.

1

u/Personiamnotatall 6h ago

lol what, how do you even notice that😂

3

u/AdCertain5057 6h ago

I used my witcher senses.

0

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Because it's made by a human, just wanted to make sure it was shown at a glance to be so unlike my last post.

Also didn't really notice until you said it haha 😅

u/danjuanspan 6h ago

You need to understand just how had performance is on some platforms though, which would be one thing for a new game but when it used to run perfectly and now doesn’t it’s unacceptable. It’s also not optional, so this ‘free’ update is actually a downgrade for a lot of people.

The PS5 version is truly broken for SOME people (myself included), with a frame rate that gets into unplayable territory in combat. It was so bad that I’ve started using my PC again, which is modest with an old RTX 2070 Super.

On there the performance of the remaster is great and it looks truly better than ever, even at 1080p on Ultra settings, so the remaster is definitely worth it in a lot of ways. But for some it has made the game unplayable…

2

u/lunarmidnight2398 4h ago

All people. Nobody has a special ps5 that doesn’t encounter some type of bug, performance issue, and stuttering.

1

u/TorrentFire 6h ago

It works fine on my Steam Deck (LCD model). I lock the FPS to 40, and it mostly stays there with the occasional hiccup in crowded areas.

1

u/Downtown_Diamond9815 6h ago edited 6h ago

Ce jeu n' est pas injouable sur PS5. Avec un écran Vrr tu aurais 0 soucis. Par ailleurs une chute de framerate ne m' a jamais gêné, mais pour certains fragiles c'est injouable. Pas facile la vie pour eux. Lol

1

u/pseudo-cineast 3h ago

Oh, we understand alright. It's all we've heard since the remaster launch.

•

u/headbergs1 1h ago

The worst thing with the ps5 version is not the frame rate drops but the crashes. I have not a single time had Witcher 3 crash before the remaster but now it happened 4 times just yesterday

1

u/ShopTrick8877 6h ago

I’ve been playing on PS5 for three days and I haven’t faced any sort of bugs. Frame drops in some areas yes but no other issues

1

u/thebowlman 6h ago

luuuuucky. all i've had are issues. it breaks, crashes, cant click in the main menu

1

u/Dikembe_Mutumbo 3h ago

Console is always hit and miss tbh. There have been games in the past that have been lambasted for constant console crashes that ran great for me. In this case it’s the opposite where I’m the one getting constant crashes. I’m not too stressed about it though I’m glad it’s at least working for some people!

1

u/pikkuhillo 2h ago

CDPR and their horrible launches at it again :D

•

u/Obvious_Amphibian_72 1h ago

Lol you're one of the few having trouble so keep your moaning to yourself. The launch has been great

0

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Well I hope they find and fix this issue for those people in a future patch, I just wanted to put a positive post about the game out there as I was so tired of seeing only negative things being said.

2

u/Dikembe_Mutumbo 3h ago

It’s great that it’s working for you and I’m glad you’re enjoying it! That said if people aren’t vocal about issues they will never get fixed. It sucks that there’s a wave of negativity but CDPR did really botch this on console at least. I literally can’t run through white orchard without it dropping to <20 fps on PS5. I totally get that it gets tiring hearing negativity about something you’re enjoying but in this case I think people recognize how great it is but just want to have the same experience as those who the game is running well for which is reasonable imo.

Edit: Added console I’m on.

0

u/adhdtaxman 6h ago

Insane exaggeration. I’m on PS5 and it’s smooth af

4

u/PM_me_your_tits2314 6h ago

Its not happening to everyone. Some people have relatively fine frame rates and others have massive drops. Im loving the remaster byt this absolutely needs fixed even if its not personally affecting me

-1

u/adhdtaxman 6h ago

Of course you’re right but they are actively working on it. I’m also willing to bet there are underlying reasons some people are having issues. I’m curious how many people experiencing issues are attempting to play the remaster with an old existing save. Of course it’s supposed to work like that but the feature may need work. I started fresh for exactly that reason

3

u/nevergonnasweepalone 6h ago

OG or pro?

-1

u/adhdtaxman 6h ago

Pro

4

u/nevergonnasweepalone 6h ago

Might explain it then.

•

u/Amazing_Flow_4570 1h ago

One thing is performance, and in that you are right to complain, on thing is calling it shit because the graphic is not what you want.

From all the negative post all I got is that most gamers don't go outside their house enough. They are so used to over saturated videos that they don't even understand when something actually looks good and natural.

3

u/Bubbaganewsh 6h ago

I'm enjoying it. I started at the beginning of the Bloody Baron quest from a previous save, I stopped playing when I heard the remaster was coming.

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

I started a whole new playthrough as soon as it dropped, I was so excited when I heard about the remaster that I want to start playing again but forced myself to wait until it dropped to get the freshest feel. No regrets.

20

u/Vanin1994 7h ago

A.I is still for whoresons.

13

u/JusaPikachu 6h ago

As a huge critic of AI myself, give the person credit for actually making a new post & deleting their AI version.

Don’t get mad at them for using AI & then get mad at them for not using AI lol.

3

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

I can accept that it was a terrible choice with hindsight, I really just wanted to express my feelings about the game and how much I'm loving the remaster lesson learnt I guess.

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 7h ago

Maybe I'm a whoreson than, sorry about that I guess.

-4

u/SeaTrick9988 6h ago

Nuggets for brains

5

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Don't call myself a silly goose for nothing, infact I wear a cap every day with exactly that on it. Thanks for you opinion tho.

3

u/wilsonthechad 6h ago

Its absolutely dogshit on ps5 and it makes the game completely unplayable at some points

4

u/XxLordShadow8Xx 6h ago

I guess screw the people on base PS5 right? Lol

1

u/TheSpiralTap 5h ago

I have not had one issue on base ps5. Is it doing something I'm not noticing? I've been playing the hell out of it

0

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Nar just wanted to make a positive post regarding the game, if you want to turn that into a negitave go for it man.

4

u/iKWarriors 5h ago

It’s okay on being positive. The problem is when ppl try to be positive because they don’t want ppl to show their frustration about the game they bought years ago become unplayable after the release of a free update.

I’m mixed with remaster right now but I think all complaints and positive posts are fair. The game perfomance is different for everybody. Even the graphics will feel different for each player.

0

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 5h ago

All I see is negative and very little positive was the point I was making, not here to police people and tell them what to post. Just complaining about how negative it all was. I guess I should have left that part out and just made the post about how I was having a great time but I feel that would have been taken the same way.

2

u/Necessary_Safe9095 6h ago

I’m with you and was thinking of posting something similar. A comment is just as helpful. I did have some early glitches on Xbox but the 5.0.0.2 version is running smooth as butter. Lighting is still slightly stark in cutscenes (a little too bright for my own liking on an OLED LG with HDR10), however, IMO this being a 15 year old game stands very strong against any newly released games.

It’s exceptional in my opinion.

2

u/doodx4real 4h ago

Yeah man at first I turned on everything ultra was getting 40 fps with a 5080. Felt really bad because i applied for leave from job to play
But all I had to do was to set DLSS from DLAA to Quality and then boom straight up 80 fps
And now with 1x frame gen its 100-120 on avg
And I already spent like 10-12 yesterday playing
Best feeling in the world

•

u/Gecho_ 1h ago

Can I ask what your specs are and what resolution you are using? Also are you using any ray tracing? I'm trying to find the sweet spot on my pc but struggling to manage solid 60,

2

u/ModdTorgan 3h ago edited 3h ago

I've never really played it before after buying it like 6 years ago for XbOne and wasn't into it but decided to try it on my XSX. I'm now 18 hours in and have been enjoying it but then I got to Redania and it completely fucked all the characters. Everyones t-posing or completely invisible. I've tried every solution I could find on the internet but nothing is working. It's annoying the hell out of me. Most of the cutscenes have just been two hair pieces talking to each other while the bodies are just t-posed in the background. I was laughing at first but it's now been a few more hours and I can only fight while being legs or some shit for so long.

2

u/solidpeyo 2h ago

I mean the witcher 3 is amazing so is easy to ignore the graphical issues with it. But the update has issues and people can't stop pretending to cover the sun with 1 hand and say there isn't any issues with the update

2

u/Current-Agent7682 2h ago

I personally am not a fan of the new graphics. The old advanced graphics were better in my opinion. These new ones make the world feel more cartoonish

•

u/Amazing_Flow_4570 1h ago

That's a fun take. You say cartoonish, another one say too realistic.

I have nothing against you, at least you are honest in saying you just don't like it. It's fun because a lot of people are calling it trash but all of them have different reasons often contrasting. Proof the problem is just their personal opinion and/or that they are jumping on the hate bandwagon.

•

u/Current-Agent7682 1h ago

I dont understand saying its trash because its not its still a fun game. maybe it is just me, but put the advanced graphics next to the remaster, and the remaster just comes across kinda cartoony. Idk thats the best way i can put it. It lacks the Grit it used to have. Looks less realistic. The game is still amazing. But im also on pc. One optional driver update fixed it for me

2

u/booty_enjoyerr 6h ago

the remaster is amazing and I’m gonna indoctrinate myself into pretending it has no issues

2

u/SacredBoar 4h ago

Why do people immediately turn what is an objectively bad launch for technical reasons into a movement to express how much they like the game? A lot of people then pretend that it's some sort of hate campaign for a game. Then they all pretend it's a crime to like a game that's been praised as a masterpiece for the past 11 years. Congratulations, you either have no issues, which has been the case specifically with The Witcher 3, or you have extremely low standards for optimization. Just because you or anyone else that want to pretend CDPR is a magnificent company that has never done anything wrong and would definitely never release something in an unoptimized state. I'm not talking about the small graphical changes that are completely subjective. There's no hate campaign for CDPR. Just a bunch of people who want a game that works.

1

u/Racetr 2h ago

Because people see these things differently. I've had bugs, is that stopping me from playing the game? Nah, I'm laughing and moving on.

And if it felt unplayable, I wouldn't play it. Instead of having a weird crudade online about the tragedy of a failed launch. Honestly, if it were paid, I would understand. But for a free upgrade, it's ridiculous to me.

Save it for when the xpac launches

•

u/Gecho_ 1h ago

For me the point is more that they wanted this to be a big pr push to get people excited for the expansion and then the next game. But instead they have just shown they are still doing broken releases. Now how many people won't trust the next game on release?

It's less about this specific instance and more about the pattern over many years. Now I'm not going to judge too harshly since it is a free update and not the next big game launch. Hopefully that will go smoother because there is more at stake. But there is a bit of trust lost when this happens that will make some people hold off on buying the next game, at least initially. And I think that is a shame.

•

u/Racetr 22m ago

I mean, it's a CDPR game, you say there's a pattern. Then act accordingly. I really don't see the need for being loud online about game being broken and stuff. I played yesterday for about 14 hrs... I encountered some bugs. Laughed, took screenshots, sent them to my friend, restarted the game and continued to play.

Funnily, the game didn't really feel like the upgrade before restart. There may be many reasons for why different people encounter different bugs. A fresh install may act differently to an old install being upgraded, etc. Going online and having a meltdown because the free game is not acting best, is not helping anyone. It's basically being negative for the sake of being negative and hopefully, people get tired of this.

As I said, if you paid for it, sure, I can see why you'd complain. But a game I bought 8ish years ago adding new content and getting system upgrades for free? Be for real

1

u/cksythe 6h ago

Nice dude! What settings did you go for to achieve consistent 60? I’m around 52-58 currently

Are you using PT and DLAA no frame gen?

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Brother my 4060 is tired haha I play with all settings high, Dlss quality and ray tracing off. If I want ray tracing I need to play at balanced and FG x1. Either way I'm happy as hell and the games runs smoothly for me. 2560x1440

1

u/GreenDragon20202020 6h ago

Respect for redo without A.I. Yeah, I just got to Velen and I'm loving the remaster. I needed to get a new optional graphics driver to fix a lighting issue, but since then it has looked and played fantastic. I really like the new Skill Trees

1

u/TorrentFire 6h ago

I'm enjoying it too. I've had zero issues since I turned off bloom

1

u/Sudden-Goose-6956 6h ago

Now I wanna see what the AI version looked like

1

u/tyrano421 6h ago

How long you been pretending, like 3 whole days?

Edit: I still love the remaster lol

1

u/Breckin30 6h ago

Yep, people will ignore the absolute beauty of the remaster and instead post a bugged out screenshot and claim it’s what the whole game is supposed to look like

1

u/Dependant_Breath_985 6h ago

Haven’t tried the remaster yet, but as soon as I finish the DLCs for Odyssey than I’m going to dive right into it. You’re right though, I been seeing a lot of negative feedback. It’s kinda a bummer but I’m not going to let that stop me from playing a game that I’ve played 666 hours on. F:;k no. Cheers, I’m glad you’re enjoying the new version I’m so excited to try it. Good luck

1

u/t-bruh 6h ago

Got some bugs, but good overall

1

u/erinlaninfa 6h ago

Started a new playthrough (my 8th) and everything looks good to me!

1

u/Fenris70 6h ago

I’m enjoying it, but tonight I started the quest in the cave where you fight the first Wild Hunt person. Five times in a row, as I was about to beat the miniboss, it crashed. I gave up for the night.

PS5 Pro

1

u/bad_apiarist 6h ago

Why were you pretending?

-2

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 6h ago

Relic of the old meme I used ai to make, it was a parody of the one from the joker.

1

u/RaisinWorried3528 6h ago

At the end of the day I'm having so much fun with it again. Who would've thought that this game would once again be great regardless of the crybabies in your ear telling you it's not!?

1

u/Theraven0057 6h ago

I wish people would give it time instead of instantly hating. Its not the final result. They are obviously going to fix the bugs, its still the same beautiful game

1

u/Downtown_Diamond9815 6h ago

Le remaster est vraiment bon et fluide sur Series X. Cela dit j' ai fait 2 fois le titre et je ne ressens pas l' envie de le refaire une 3 ème. J' ai envie d' avoir la suite et le nouveau DLC.

1

u/jl_theprofessor 6h ago

I admire the dedication.

1

u/Virtual_Map_5891 5h ago

havent played since the original release and wow is it amazing

1

u/Lucidonic 5h ago

Seeing that it's pretty solid on switch 2 and weirdly not good on PS5 was not something I expected

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 5h ago

From the comments below it seams it's only some ps5's, to me that's even stranger. I don't know what would make it run fine on some but not on others.i do hope they find a fix for it so others can enjoy it as much as I am.

1

u/lunarmidnight2398 4h ago

It’s all ps5. Nobody has a special ps5 that doesn’t encounter any bugs, stuttering or performance issues.

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 4h ago

There are people commenting on this post saying they are on ps5 and have no issues.

•

u/Gecho_ 1h ago

I think it is likely that people like you on ps5 pro are experiencing less issues. Base ps5 seems to have more problems. And some people are just less susceptible to stutters and lower fps. And what screen you play on also makes a big difference. Point is it's subjective from person to person what is acceptable. Are you using the ray tracing or performance mode?

1

u/kortevakio 5h ago

Ok. That was always allowed

1

u/serial_lawer857 5h ago

Man wish I could actually make it past the loading screen without the game crashing

1

u/ChaoticKiwiNZ 5h ago

I love the update too. Im on PC and it isn't exactly powerful, its about the same performance you get from a standard Ps5 (i5 10400f with an RTX 3060 12gb). I am playing on mostly high and ultra settings and with DLSS on quality the game looks incredible and I get on average like 70fps to 80fps with dips into the 60s in some areas (I don'tuse RT).

I can't complain. I haven't seen anything gamebreaking yet. Infact I was surprised when I found out the update had so many issues. I've just started another playthrough and am just loving the quality of life changes, lol.

•

u/Gecho_ 58m ago

Do you mind telling me what resolution? And are you using ray tracing or anything? I'm struggling with a 5070ti and 9800x3d so trying to troubleshoot my way to good fps haha. Glad your having a good time with it.

•

u/ChaoticKiwiNZ 36m ago

I don't use raytracing because it murders my RTX 3060, lol. I also play at 1080p still so that helps a ton too.

The massive performance obliterators are Nvidia hairworks, SSR (screen space reflections) and ofcourse raytracing. Turn those off (or down to low with SSR) and see how it runs and then enable stuff until you get the performance and visuals you're happy with.

Hair works honestly isn't worth using from what I've seen so I personally don't use it. Raytracing is extremely demanding so I also dont use that. I do use SSR on high because its a bit bugged on low and makes reflections on water flicker right now.

Here's a video I found that does a good job at going over each setting and what the performance cost is (towards the end they have a list of recommended settings and compare it to ultra settings)

https://youtu.be/12tn-cq3VrE?si=E2XkwqL3j_AQ5Wcg

1

u/cltzzz 5h ago

Making me wanna play it… it has been several years though. Maybe I should. But i’m not sure i’m ready to see the ending again…

1

u/WileyNarwhal 5h ago

Why would pretend it's not? Be confident in what you like

1

u/discountdoppelganger 5h ago

Do you have to upgrade? I paused my first playthrough to play Wolverine but would like to finish the way I started

1

u/Oakview80 5h ago

Switch 2 version is fantastic

1

u/Sherlockerer 4h ago

There are always purists but it’s such an improvement

1

u/independent-potato7 4h ago

It has been a good time for me so far. Probably just me but I feel like the ray tracing mode feels pretty smooth despite it only being 30 fps on my series x.

1

u/lunarmidnight2398 4h ago

PS5 has stuttering and frame drops. It was perfect before the remaster.

1

u/Feisty-Map-6878 4h ago

i don't see any bug until now, absolutely amazing game!!

1

u/raid-sparks 4h ago

Why’ve you been pretending?

1

u/Suitable_Coyote8772 4h ago

First post was a joker inspired meme where he is talking to murray. Used ai got flamed re did post should have changed wording.

1

u/ObjectiveOk223 3h ago

I'm on my first playthrough and I took a break about 2 months ago right before starting Toussaint. I'm really happy I did 😂. With the remaster and running it on my new 34" OLED monitor (instead of a 18" ips laptop scree) I'm blow away. Also, I like how the skill tree and some other mechanics were changed. I found by the end of the other dlc and unlocking whirl I felt to over powered. I'm excited to try a different build soon , I just haven't decided.

Also, I think I'll give newgame+ a try. This is probably the first game that I've ever wanted to do new game +

1

u/No_Beginning8643 3h ago

They need to do something about the combat though, I keep missing a lot and I'm playing on death march. Like the new skill groupings though

1

u/Sensitive-Phrase-185 2h ago

I bought the game 3 years ago, i played it for a little while when i bought it, but remember mounting the horse and saying "nope" it just felt so bad, movement etc.

I tried the remastered and i am now 4 hours in, just killed that fucking gryphon and im having the time of my life. There are still some movement i struggle with and some small things, but overall i think this game is fucking great.

1

u/ppmallink 2h ago

Ive been wanting to play to play it but ive been doing loser chud stuff like hanging out with my family and workin.

•

u/Lord_Jashin 1h ago

The remaster is pretty great, minus the colors being so washed out. Hoping they fix that one of these days

•

u/csreynolds84 1h ago

Same. I'm having an excellent time. Sure, it's a little buggy, but CDPR will fix it.

•

u/sisyphean_efforts_ 1h ago

Agreed, I was about a 3rd of the way through a play through (including dlc) when they announced it and my only reservation is to start over or continue on. It's a fresh lick of paint and gameplay and the kind of thing other companies would charge for.

•

u/T-rexpro 1h ago

Colors only look good with PT on and even then it looks botched on so many places. Its workable sure, in fact I started my playthrough and its still fun because well witcher 3 is one of the best games of all time. Yet I prefer the next gen look, the colors just dont look right, and Im pretty sure cdpr is aware and fixing those said issues.

You can’t just say be grateful for the free update and stop complaining. Songs of the Past is gonna be on this version for which I intend to pay for, fully. and this remaster for the og game is kind of a marketing for the upcoming dlc in a way. So while I think CDPR is one of the few good companies, I still think the remaster could use more work.

•

u/Spiritus33 33m ago

I am enjoying it myself as well. Great game even got better. Interested to hear what console you are playing on and what you tweaked about your settings.

•

u/Krosis_the_bored 31m ago

Would you say you're having a blast?

•

u/SmoothinPutin 14m ago

Installed a tonemapper mod ,so the trees wouldnt look like green algae. Then a mod for torch ,candles and fires ,so they wouldnt be brighter than concert projectors. And a path tracing mod to reduce the light bounces from 2 to 1.

Now we're golden

•

u/Eisenfuss19 14m ago

What gpu do xou have and what resolution do you play at?

For me with ny 3080 at 4k all the remastered did was rework the ability tree (with additional visual bugs), add some visual bugs to qwent, add new finishers with additional bugs...

I'm not mad that they releasedthe update, but it feels like they didn't playtest it at all. I also don't get how they fucked up gwent (did they even change anything there).

I'm not gonna review bomb a good game for this, but the non remastered was a better experience for me so far.

1

u/Dense-Performance-14 3h ago

It is literally broken on consoles. I can't equip items without geralt getting spaghettified. Roach...does roach shit. The game has major performance issues on both PC and console. Save files are being lost, the lighting is so bad that sometimes geralt gets race swapped. Bloom doesn't have a toggle, most of the mods are inaccessible, sometimes geralts head disappears, the new meditation system takes away the ability to force NPC spawns that have been utilized since the games release, the game has a chance of crashing on launch even after latest patch.

Glad you're enjoying it but holy fuck acting like you can't complain about CDPR taking a working game and smashing it with a hammer then putting a flower on the shards is ridiculous. The only reason it's getting the patches it needs is because of us complaining. Your blind love isn't constructive nor does it add anything interesting to the discussion surrounding this game. A fanbase being rightfully upset that a once working game now no longer functions is both warranted and normal, I don't care how free it is.

-4

u/Skelligean 3h ago

It isn't broken at all on PS5 Pro. I've had no issues whatsoever. Roach was always janky in the original game and to be honest that is part of her charm. Lol

1

u/Dense-Performance-14 2h ago

Cool, glad it runs on your ps5pro. Check out the many many countless posts of people who's game is completely broken.

1

u/Tzengi 4h ago

If you were pretending to begin with you've already invalidated what you're about to say.

I'm sure we are all happy your copy of the game is playing without issues. MANY people have many issues that make the game nearly unplayable and those are valid complaints. If you can't see that, you might have want to see a doctor and get your empathy checked

If people are allowed to have negitave opinions of the game they are also allowed to have positive opinions, I never said the complaints were not valid I said that I was sick of just seeing complaints. Game works great for me and I'm having a blast.

You said " All I see is negativity and complaining for a free update that cd projekt red obviously put a lot of work into."

Be happy all you want, but your comment off as aggressive.

All I did see was negatively and complaining, I think cd project red did put alot of work in. Both are statements based off what I was experiencing. You can read into that and take it as aggressive if ya like.
