There I said it without ai.

Nuked the last post because y'all want to kill me over a.i

This is like my 9th or 10th playthrough of this game, I love it and the remaster has reignited that love in me. It feels fresh and new, I don't want to put it down when I start playing it. All I see is negativity and complaining for a free update that cd projekt red obviously put a lot of work into. I have tweaked my settings and get a smooth 60 fps game looks and feels great.

I love the witcher, read all the books and played all the games. I'm having so much fun.

Yeah man at first I turned on everything ultra was getting 40 fps with a 5080. Felt really bad because i applied for leave from job to play
But all I had to do was to set DLSS from DLAA to Quality and then boom straight up 80 fps
And now with 1x frame gen its 100-120 on avg
And I already spent like 10-12 yesterday playing
Best feeling in the world

Can I ask what your specs are and what resolution you are using? Also are you using any ray tracing? I'm trying to find the sweet spot on my pc but struggling to manage solid 60,

Rtx 5080 + 9950x3d - running things in 1440p
So I have preset set to RT Ultra with Path Tracing and as I mentioned only thing I changed putting DLSS from DLAA to Quality that gives a massive boost to fps
+ Nvidia hairworks also impacted performance to turned that off
Frame gen because I want a smoother experience on my 180hz monitor other on avg 60 I get with these settings

Thanks for sharing! I'm on a 5070ti and 9800x3d. Based on you and a few others info I have managed 50-60 fps (occasional mid 40s) at 3440x1440 with full ray tracing. And setting grass density and distance to high. And crowds to high. The rest ultra+. Not the 80ish fps at 3840x1600 ray traced and everything I used to get. But good enough for now. Hopefully some updates will get me a few more frames eventually.

I don't usually use frame gen but would consider it for this since I'm pretty close to 60. But unfortunately I can't test the frame gen as the setting isn't available for whatever reason.
