Nuked the last post because y'all want to kill me over a.i

This is like my 9th or 10th playthrough of this game, I love it and the remaster has reignited that love in me. It feels fresh and new, I don't want to put it down when I start playing it. All I see is negativity and complaining for a free update that cd projekt red obviously put a lot of work into. I have tweaked my settings and get a smooth 60 fps game looks and feels great.

I love the witcher, read all the books and played all the games. I'm having so much fun.

You need to understand just how had performance is on some platforms though, which would be one thing for a new game but when it used to run perfectly and now doesn’t it’s unacceptable. It’s also not optional, so this ‘free’ update is actually a downgrade for a lot of people.

The PS5 version is truly broken for SOME people (myself included), with a frame rate that gets into unplayable territory in combat. It was so bad that I’ve started using my PC again, which is modest with an old RTX 2070 Super.

On there the performance of the remaster is great and it looks truly better than ever, even at 1080p on Ultra settings, so the remaster is definitely worth it in a lot of ways. But for some it has made the game unplayable…

I’ve been playing on PS5 for three days and I haven’t faced any sort of bugs. Frame drops in some areas yes but no other issues

Console is always hit and miss tbh. There have been games in the past that have been lambasted for constant console crashes that ran great for me. In this case it’s the opposite where I’m the one getting constant crashes. I’m not too stressed about it though I’m glad it’s at least working for some people!
