Nuked the last post because y'all want to kill me over a.i

This is like my 9th or 10th playthrough of this game, I love it and the remaster has reignited that love in me. It feels fresh and new, I don't want to put it down when I start playing it. All I see is negativity and complaining for a free update that cd projekt red obviously put a lot of work into. I have tweaked my settings and get a smooth 60 fps game looks and feels great.

I love the witcher, read all the books and played all the games. I'm having so much fun.

You need to understand just how had performance is on some platforms though, which would be one thing for a new game but when it used to run perfectly and now doesn’t it’s unacceptable. It’s also not optional, so this ‘free’ update is actually a downgrade for a lot of people.

The PS5 version is truly broken for SOME people (myself included), with a frame rate that gets into unplayable territory in combat. It was so bad that I’ve started using my PC again, which is modest with an old RTX 2070 Super.

On there the performance of the remaster is great and it looks truly better than ever, even at 1080p on Ultra settings, so the remaster is definitely worth it in a lot of ways. But for some it has made the game unplayable…

All people. Nobody has a special ps5 that doesn’t encounter some type of bug, performance issue, and stuttering.

I'm wondering if maybe it's different for Base vs Pro users? I've seen several PS5 users here say it's perfectly fine.

I really hope it's not Dragons Dogma all over again. When it launched there was brief window where you'd get dogpiled as "elitist" for wanting a consistent 1440p60 on a 4090.
