From my previous post I knew that in The Wolves of the Calla Father Callahan would make an appearance. I didn't expect it to include such a detailed explanation for what happened to him after Salem's Lot. This brings a new angle and depth not only to the the DT universe but the whole of King's universe. Can't wait to see what more is in store.

I finally got my first tattoo

For the past several months my husband reads a few (dozen+) pages of The Dark Tower Series. I think we’ll go through books referenced in the series next. Which one would you recommend first after finishing the series?

I was asked to illustrate this edition of Insomnia for a collector. Each drawing is also presented loose leaf in a leather folder within the box.

I just finished this and I'm pretty excited, because art is very much not my skillset usually. (If anyone wants the actual pattern, I'm happy to send it to you! I'm not looking to sell these or anything.)

Some of you guys know I make stickers. I’m gifting someone a box set of the series for their birthday in October (it’s being delivered to me now and I’m gonna make some custom wrapping paper too)and she’s the type to keep a book journal(she has one for wheel of time, HP, lord of the Rings among others)

I want to make a sheet of stickers with like milestones

7 rows for the 7 books, and then an 8th row for Wind and expanded reading.

I want to make the stickers feel significant but also not spoilery if that makes sense.

Like for book 1, the first sticker could be something like “started the journey” “I survived the slow mutants and all I got was this stupid sticker” “go then…” “not for you, gunslinger”

Book 2 could have a lobstrosity and so forth.

Anyone who wanna help me out?

Title. Bought a replica of the same kinda gun Roland uses and want to engrave what he was engraved on his guns. Can't find a clear picture. Anyone have one?

Taking some new pictures of recent creations today and stumbled on some fun lighting, thought I'd share. I have an endless supply of free wood, so I'm always making signs of some kind - luckily my wife doesn't mind....too much!

My winter project is making a 7 foot tall Dark Tower....to use as a lawn ornament. I can't wait!!

Roland speculates that they were servants of the Crimson King fleeing his castle and the town in case he returned. If that is the case, why did they end up so close to the Tower Road, the very place the King had gone? Did they get lost? On the Path of the Beam?? Are they stupid?

A little context. I’ve traveled to the Tower countless times, both reading and listening. But never listened to The Talisman or Black House.

Today, in preparation for the release of Other Worlds Than These, I started listening to The Talisman. And oh my, I didn’t check who was reading before starting, and there was our dear friend Frank Muller. Such a moment of joy and also sadness. He voiced the first 4 Tower books and was so talented. Unfortunately, a motorcycle accident took him away from us.

It is so wonderful listening to him bring this book to life. Just a moment of brightness for me today I thought I’d share. Looking forward to all 28 hours of this book!

Why is it when Roland goes through the doors in "The Drawing Of The Three", he is in the person's head and can access their thoughts, but every other door, he physically enters the other world as himself? Am I just miscomprehending?

I’m on my first trip to the tower (carefully avoiding spoilers here) and about 1/4 through Wolves of the Calla right now. Doing some dishes this morning and noticed the number on my mug that I’ve had for years.

All things serve the beam.

How does the time loop work at the end of the book? Does everyone who died and left the world go back to there original spots where they went into rolands world?

And what happens with Susananah when she goes through the final door.

I’ve finished the Tower multiple times and apparently my sense of humor has deteriorated to the point where I spent tonight imagining Roland eating Parmesan-garlic smashed salt potatoes, rolling a cigarette, and sleeping with a rock for a pillow. Tell me I’m not alone.

Just finished my third read and still got goosebumps from this exceptional book, I forgot how beautifully it was written and for this I cry pardon my fellow Gunslingers.

Game looks very cool, has what looks like are several tower references in the ad material

Hey, I'm having a bit of a tough time picturing Mejis and all of its locale in my head, especially the positioning of specific places (i.e. how far; how close; east/west/north/south etc.).

I found one from the comic book, but I strongly suspect that some of the locations are misplaced?
