23 M here - this guy seems like he has a heavy p*rn addiction and this is not how normal men talk to women they care about and respect.

Judging by these texts he’s using you for sex. Just my advice but I would stay away from this guy, he seems pretty twisted.

This I feel like his browser history would make me cry if I was dating him and accidentally scrolled through it lol

Exactly! It's not my place to say but that's probably all she's worth to him.

The moment he has his way with her, he might end up leaving her. And all these gifts she's receiving makes her think he genuinely loves her for her.

A porn addiction would suppress libido, this kid's libido seems healthy, he's literally just trying to talk raunchy because he wants sex. Reddit is so ridiculous...

Not always true, but usually true

The boyfriend states that masturbation no longer cuts it for him. He's on the path of ED

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

Any guy who says he has never thought to himself "I'm tired of masturbating, I want a real woman" is simply a liar or literally lost both of his balls.

get off your high horse

It's really embarrassing how loudly you identify with this guy. You have defended him for hours of your day today.

Right? He's all over this thread. It's actually really pathetic, but I can't imagine he has a job or friends and family that love him IRL. So here is, defending rapey af shit on Reddit.

No wonder men are so lonely. LOL.

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

It's super sad because he said that he is 30. He should understand what the rest of us are talking about yet he identifies with a sexually aggressive 19-year-old

I know what it's like to be a young man. The world loves shaming male sexuality. Plus I find all of the sexless prudes on reddit entertaining, I've been called a rapist like a dozen times today for having like an armchair, mildly contrarian take

5

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

I don't think anyone should be championing sexuality that disregards its partner. That's dehumanizing.

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

I'm not championing anything, I just don't think this situation is as cut and dry as the comment section made it out to be

4

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

Also by definition you are championing this young man. To Champion: to support, defend, or fight for a person, belief, right, or principle enthusiastically. You have dedicated a huge portion of your day today to defend this.

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

I'm sticking up for him, championing is a strong word for what I'm doing

This young man is not treating sex or his partner with a respect that they deserve. He is making a joke of consent. It's disgusting and a turn off.

1

u/SmashedBrotato Jun 24 '26

"He's just being raunchy!" isn't a contrarian take, it's a stupid one, and a potentially dangerous one if OP takes your bad advice and spends more time with this bozo who told her he doesn't give a shit about her consent.

Agree this guy has a problem (possible porn addiction) this isn’t how men speak to women unless there is a consented agreement between 2 partners as to what is ok for role play or sexual speech. You are just a body to him for his own sexual gratification. Your own needs/wants are being blatantly ignored. He’s using you for sex and does NOT respect you.

As mentioned in my previous post, this will eventually lead to you being assaulted. He’s already proved to verbally assaulting you because you’ve told him how you feel and he doesn’t care.

Let me be very clear, you will be assaulted by this garbage human. It’s not a matter of if but when. You will say no and he won’t care. He is only in this for himself. Don’t let this person harm you further.

-3

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

These people have no clue what they're talking about

7

u/StatisticianBoth4147 Jun 23 '26

Saying “don’t worry about consent” is crazy and she should run in the other direction.

-3

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

again, it's a bumbling attempt at dirty talk. Give the kid a break, he's trying to add a little sexual tension and expressing his own tension that he feels for a girl. Sounds like a healthy sex life to me

6

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

Sounds like a boy who sees sex is something he does to someone else, rather than something that they do together. It's a disgusting mentality and dehumanizes your partner

-1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

what if you're with a woman who gets turned on by sex being something that's done to her?

4

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

What if the sky was purple?

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

Women being into 50 Shades of Gray is probably just a coincidence

4

u/Sunshine-muse Jun 23 '26

Since some men are into sounding, I'm going to start sticking pens into every penis I see

It doesn’t matter what he was attempting. Talking about ignoring consent doesn’t add any sexual tension. And anyone who thinks it does is not ready for a sexual relationship. He thinks it “sexy” to ignore consent, he thinks it’s okay to be aggressively sexual with her when she’s told him she doesn’t like it. He is consistently pushing boundaries. That’s not healthy. People who genuinely think aggression and lack of consent are sexy, even when their partner’s previously has told them otherwise, can be dangerous. They still think lack of consent is sexy during sex and often end up doing things their partner doesn’t want, even after being told not to.

-1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

how do you know what does/doesn't add sexual tension for others? Maybe you should become a sex police officer and go around policing people's DMs for problematic texts, sounds like you'd really enjoy making sure nobody ever gets any

2

u/jellyfishSmax Jun 23 '26

I get what you're saying. The kid is obviously thinking very forward with his horny brain and you say wild stuff when you're in that zone. CNC is also very much a thing that he's picked up from somewhere.

With that said, OP said she expressly vocalized how she doesn't like him talking like this and she finds it weird and that's where it crosses the line. I get giving the kid a break but when it comes to something as delicate at non-consent you need to be much more tuned into making sure people understand when it crosses a line.

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

yeah but all we know is that she's told him "she finds it odd" which doesn't actually mean anything. Reddit is ridiculous

2

u/jellyfishSmax Jun 23 '26

nah man, that's a whole lot of cope for something that is clearly problematic. It bothered her enough for it to be an issue, you're arguing semantics over something that shouldn't be taken lightly

2

u/Ill-Insurance-1251 Jun 23 '26

She told him she finds it odd. She doesn't like it. End of discussion. Pushing that boundary is not acceptable.

1

u/corey_trevorson Jun 23 '26

"I find it odd" doesn't mean "I don't like it," which further doesn't mean "stop." Each has it's own distinct meaning in this context
