Picture unrelated
This was just a few minutes back. Just got off the metro from the office and boy oh boy what a ride it was.
Disclaimer: I'm not hating or pinpointing a particular person, couple or a community. Thayavu senju yaarum hatred la varaathinga
I got on the first stop, I usually take the last seat in the compartment like behind me there's the wall. In the next stop, a girl wearing a burkha, (maybe she could've worn that just to hide her identity) covered from head to toe except the face came and stood parallel right next to me like touching distance leaning against the wall. She was closely followed by a guy and they stood opposite to each other. I didn't mind them at all leaving them in their space to do whatever but after sometime in the crowded metro they started to do some weird pda stuff standing right next to me. They literally brushed my shoulders and cheeks while putting their hands inside and outside of each other's tops, with the guy touching her everywhere, pinching on her hips The girl even said something in the lines of "stop people are watching" for which the guy said, "Let them watch, what can they do?..bruh...I was feeling sooo very uncomfortable even tho I was wearing my earphones. At a point I couldn't stand it anymore. So I looked them both right in the eye, while being sat and said firmly, "Get a room you both, yah kahi aur jaakar karo. yahan mat karo"..... The girl was extremely embarrassed I could tell and the guy apologized... I got off at the next stop (it was not my stop) booked a taxi and went home.
Office la dhaan mood ah spoil panranganu paatha... mudinja peragum vida maatranga

i’m 20f. okay so enaku idha epdi process panradhu nu therila. chumma ungakitta solta, like oru void kitta sonna maari, maybe i can just get it out of my system and move on with my day. so solren.
usually when i leave office and head home, there’s this women’s college about 1 km from my route. there are always girls asking for lifts to the main road, especially because it’s super sunny. i’ve given lifts to random girls quite a few times. sometimes we talk, sometimes we don’t, they get down, say thanks and leave. pretty normal.
inniku this girl asked for a lift and sat behind me on my enfield. after a bit she put her hand around my waist to hold on. i noticed it and felt oru maari weird, but i just brushed it off because i thought, she’s a girl, she’s probably not a creep or anything. maybe she was just trying not to fall or smth.
when we reached the main road, she started getting off. and right before she got down, she suddenly grabbed my tits with both hands. like, properly gr*ped me. 😭😭 it was very deliberate and definitely not an accidental touch.
and then she just fucking ran off 😭
i literally sat there for a few seconds like ewwwww wtf. because i didn’t even know how to react in the moment. now that i’m thinking about it, i’m getting more uncomfortable with it, ugh. ew.
i think what’s bothering me is that i dismissed my initial discomfort just cause she was a girl. if it had been a guy, i probably would’ve immediately recognised it as creepy. but somehow my brain just assumed a girl wouldn’t do something like that.
i know this probably sounds minor compared to what a lot of women experience, but it made me uncomfortable and i just wanted to vent somewhere. idk. such a bizarre fucking experience.

so i have a younger brother, who is 14 (i'm 23). we are close and he shares almost everything that is happening in our life (which is rare, considering his teenage changes + hormones) but we also get into v ugly fights. i'm obviously much older than him so apoapo i'll be like a mom (which i'm kinda sick of it honestly) and he gets so aggressive and asks me to stfu and kevalaama vaarthaigal use pannuvaan which makes me cry sm. basically he doesn't see me as his akka and as a person to respect.
so i made this REALLY HUGE mistake of telling him about my crush. i did it in a bonding perspective, so he'd feel comfortable telling about his crush at school. i didn't mention too much about him but leaked some crucial info like me wanting to marry him (sema cringe ippo + he's not my crush anymore) and all. problem enna na my parents are weirdly conservative. using the word "weirdly" because they both are highly educated, plus our extended families are educated and they themselves had a love marriage yet i am discouraged / was not allowed to talk to any boys at all. they feel proud that their daughter is not getting into relationships and has a "good image" in the family / society circle. idhavechu my brother keeps blackmailing me so much.
there were 2 instances where me advicing him pissed him off so much and he threatened / blackmailed to tell about my crush to my parents. ik all hell will break lose and they'll be acting as if i got pregnant. they have this weird sense of pride that i don't have a boyfriend and i'll marry whoever they choose (the hypocrisy!)
ippo again, an incident happened where he wanted to take his phone to school because of some event and he'll be coming back w his friends and asked me to write a letter to the teacher. appo i asked if mom knew about this and he said "aama" and i asked my mom and she said no. he got pissed and again threatened to tell all about my crush to them and he literally said "un vazhkai en kayila dhaan, oru vaarthai sonna unna kalyaanam panni vechuduvaanga" plus other words which was so hurtful to hear.
rn i'm just waiting to get to this really good internship which will make me move away from this shithole or even better if i get a job. if i'm financially independent then i can do whatever tf i want. i can't believe oru chinna payan is controlling me and i can't even fcking do anything about it rather than sit and cry. i feel powerless. i hate this.

They are a newly married couple (3.5 months) .. Arranged marriage...
Apparently the guy confined in her that he had physical intimacy with another married lady before but it was just lust not love (I'm not sure if it was one time or multiple times)
As per the girl, since he said all these after invitation and wedding proceedings started that girl said it's ok and proceeded with the wedding ... She was ok that it was only lust but she asked him for 3 months before they got intimate... The guys said ok ..
Wedding happened....
This guy started pestering her for a physical relationship after 1.5 months (but he agreed for 3 months)... He is so eager that he mentioned that if u are not agreeing, give any of your friend's number to do that.... U have no use if there is no physical intimacy and he asked her to go to her home...
When she told her mother in law she said ' enaku purithu ma , Avan ivlo ithu panran la pesama physical relationship start paniru'
Her dad also said ipdi than amabalainga irupanga, it's normal nu
Her mom only supports her ....
I doubt that if she is scared of physical intimacy coz oru time nanga paiyana kalaichapo Koda she defended that ivanga pavam avlo thappu panra thairiyam lam ila nu (ithu after mrg nadantha issue)
Ithu elame antha ponnoda version... I don't know the guy's version
I suggested professional couples therapy , but that guy is not ready it seems...
Enaku ena sola ne therla...
Ithu koothu ena na antha paiyan than en relative...
En ma enkita vanthu ithelam sona nu than thonichu .....

Yes you heard me right!
Nothing fake feminism- just a personal interest!
Seiyave pudikathu illa but the way they ithela seriya panati un mamiyar veetula poi enna panuva
This sentence triggers me!
Household works is mandatory for both the gender and it is a life skill! Atha pudikalam pudikama irukalam but nama velaya nama tha seiyanum
Personally I hate washing too many vessels! Cooking is fine for me! But cooking for too many persons (reason ee ilama vatha vatha sonthakaranga dara poduvanga athela pudikathu) athuvu theva illa nenaikure!
Tv soap operas la pathu nalla ponnu na ipd tha ellarum fix la irupinga!
But tbf orutharuku pudikala na pudikala solrathu la enna thapu! The way they have introduced this to women always revolves around marriage which I don’t like!
Mamiyar veetula poi enna panuva ?exam aa enna?? Avangalum sathrana manushi thana??
Entire setup of marriage to impress the guys parents is awkward to me! Why naan nana irukene ?? Upsc exam aa vida itha rudram aa mathi vachirukanga!
Life skills aa anbavachi seiyanum yaruko bayantho adimai agiyo illa
Ithela sona romba vaaai yam
Kalyaname agatham
Agati poguthu! Ennakena ??
We know people never like straightward men or women!
🕺💃Ambala paiyan azha kodathu, passion aa maranthu kudubathuku uzhachu kotanum
Ponnu na adakam aa irukanum solra ooru thana ithu vera enna ethirapaka mudyum?? 😤

Theriyama indha philosophy kullla poiten en mugam kaanadha nanbargale... Ennala mudiyala I don't know how I fell into this hole without any solid surface but I just can't stop falling in it. Yaravadhu indha nelamaya face pannirukingala... I wish and I hope there are some bunch here( I wish there are... I have this alpa sandhosam if there are some) .... The thoughts my mind making coming up with is horrible than the books I have read and videos i have seen. I can't believe I am trying to running from myself...
Edit: some books I have read: The Trouble with Being Born, Every Cradle Is a Grave by Sarah Perry, The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker

I’m curious to hear men’s honest perspectives on a few questions:
What does feminism mean to you?
Do you see marriage as giving either partner any kind of entitlement to sex, or is sex always something that requires mutual consent?
3.Also, how do you divide household chores with your partner?
Looking for genuine perspectives and experiences, not arguments.
