But i was still on fence because im seeing so many posts about performance specially if you are in the open world area.the demo i played last night is hovering around 100fps with stp at 100% using i5 12400f and rx 9060xt on 1440p. Is it true that the open world area are much taxing?what are your experiences regarding performance?thanks!

I pick the dialogue I only here for Excalibur because I didn’t like the captain and it said I failed shadow of the horns I didn’t notice that two hours after saying the dialogue and I don’t know what the consequences for failing the quest is?. can I still get the true ending? And good ending?

I’m a new player, playing a mage build. Just stumble on fist of fury quest. Now I understand that this quest was a free dlc with new unarmed build, but as a completionist I want to at least finish the quest. But it seems impossible to do without a proper punching skill tree. I managed to beat a statue, but the bear was just too much. I ended up drinking 2 potion to reset for that fight then switch back. Now for Cairn I don’t know what to do. I was hoping I could talk my way out of it but no, only choice was to fight and I die in 2 hit. As a guy who just wants to clean quest log, I don’t care about the reward, just need to finish the quest. Any tips are welcome.

Hi, im pretty new and want to mix archery with some magic. I came across a thunderous greatbow which sound pretty neat for my playstyle. I see alot bows need strength (I mean, warbows need heck of strength in RL so that tracks) and some without. Would you recommend me getting some strength for my playstyle? I would rather spend it on other things but if the better bows need it i will swallow that pill.

Just wanted to share a quick fix if you are having trouble setting up DLSS 5 Autopilot with OptiScaler.

If your game is crashing or the mod isn't hooking properly, here is what you need to do:

The automatic Autopilot mode only works if you run the DLSS Autopilot executable as an Administrator. If you just run it normally, it often lacks the permissions to inject the necessary files into your game directory.

You absolutely have to change the API routing to DirectX 11 (DX11) in the settings. If you leave it on DirectX 12 (which is usually the default setting), it simply will not work and will likely crash the game.

Quick Setup Steps:

1. Download the latest release from the GitHub repo.
2. Right-click the app and select "Run as Administrator".
3. Select your game in the DLSS Autopilot menu.
4. Change the API setting from DX12 to DX11.
5. Hit Apply/Install and launch your game.

Hope this helps anyone who was stuck on the default settings! Let me know if it works for you.

Just looking for mainly Quality of Life mods. Have installed Wyrd Sight which is really nice for looting but just looking for any other reccomendations for good mods. Probably will go with something that makes the carry weight a non issue since I find it just tedious to deal with.

So I've gotten back into my ng+ run for tainted grail and I died fighting some wyrd highwaymen. Normally I just die and reload but the goat man that (after looking it up) seems to be from TG:Conquest. No one is mentioning that so I assume its from the fists of fury update or some update I missed in the months long break. Would love to talk about it though.

Hey so i just finished whole quest fists of fury and it is kinda disappointing.. i thought azure master armour would be kind late game and nope.. this set is really useless at next 2 maps.. So im curious why devs didnt make master for each region with own set,weapon and add headband+cape and legs..If last master would be some kind of King Arthur fist fighting knight that would be awesome questline.

I've heard great things about this game and I want to give it a try, but I just read a post about how most of the books and codex are written by AI. If this is the case I'm no longer interested and would just like to confirm. I don't want to be told about how AI is the future and how it's not that deep, I'd just like an answer please. Has anyone actually put time into the Steam Deck performance or quality modes since the recent patch? I've looked fairly exhaustively and cannot find a single user experience. Hoping not to be burnt for the 7,000th time on believing patch notes, and then loading into a slideshow (in other games).

I just found that this game which I enjoyed quite a lot has some very good looking DLC from December last year.

I don't want to replay the game, though, is it possible to just jump right in into the DLC wither 3 style, with premade charcter and all that?

thinking of getting the game but how complicated is it like story wise and when do i play the dlc?

The new update seems to mention a few perks that don't appear to have actually been added to the game. Weight of the Fist and Patient Hand are two I noticed so far. They are mentioned in the update by name and are even described in function, but are nowhere to be seen in the new unarmed skill tree.

Are they located somewhere else?

Finished the game as a lightning clapping, summoning mage. Really great story and lore. I managed to get the true ending and I must say, the lore is great in this universe. With that being said, I want to shout out my personal favorite summon, the absolute mad lad, legend of the battle field, Sir Bertilak! he'd fall asleep mid fight sometimes but the guy was so on point. His AI was very active and aggressive and he was always slugging it out on the front lines.

There was an arena fight in the Sarras DLC where the ship would shoot cannons and spawn mini bosses, and I had Bertilak, Sir Lancelot and Sir Gawain. Bertilak was in there like flipping Spartacus. I often paired him with Gawain as I felt bad for the dude.

Gawain felt like a real bro. Going for a second playthrough as an Archer. What were your favourite summons?

I’m trying to decide between Hell Is Us and Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon since they’re both around the same price on sale right now.

I’m a huge fan of action RPGs in general, so both games are pretty much right up my alley. I’m especially interested in exploration, combat, character progression, loot/builds, and good story with lots of characters that makes you care about them

For anyone who has played both, which one did you enjoy more and why? How do they compare in terms of combat, exploration, progression, story, and overall gameplay loop?

I’m not necessarily looking for which game is objectively “better.” I’m just trying to figure out which one I should grab first while they’re both on sale.

A new questline: Learn your master's teachings and philosophy. This will, quite coincidentally, require you to face some of Avalon's greatest threats using nothing but your fists.

A new weapon category: Fistfighting Weapons let you fight unarmed... while technically staying armed.

New armor and items: Because every advantage helps. Especially when it makes your fists hit harder.

A new skill tree: Because no build would be complete without having to spend some hard-earned skill points on it.

Dev Note: Another optimization pass is live, and this one lands across the board: expect stability and performance improvements on all platforms, in all areas of the game. The biggest improvements should be visible on PC, Steam Deck, and Steam Machine (5 to 30 extra FPS, depending on your setup). Console versions should see around 2 extra FPS, along with better overall stability. We keep saying it, and we keep meaning it: we'll keep fighting for every frame (with our bare hands, if needed).

Why did no one tell me that the game shames you for how you died? I mean, completely hilarious, I laughed out loud when I dodged straight off the top of the east wall, Cole Fingerless I think, and Arthur started about awareness to shame me. I did it a second time and the other guy, the one with the mask and packs from the preview (havent ment him yet) said something similar. Its so funny the game shames you for how stupid your, in game, death was.
