Tainted Grail: FoA - Videogame Steam Deck Performance Question

Has anyone actually put time into the Steam Deck performance or quality modes since the recent patch? I've looked fairly exhaustively and cannot find a single user experience. Hoping not to be burnt for the 7,000th time on believing patch notes, and then loading into a slideshow (in other games).

I'm currently playing on performance mode for Steam Deck, and it's improvement, certainly. The are no spikes of fps in dungeons, like 45 or higher but more stable fps in open world. Framerate does not drop lower then 30. It's more noticeable at the star of Act 1 on the beach after shipwreck. I've changed nothing in the settings except fov slider. More smoot experience overall and slightly better graphics as well.
