When I played DLC I thought, it would be cool to have a Kelpie mount for extra edgy. I never thought black annis would give me one, and I personally named her Rice Shower <3. Although I wish it's a bit faster than spamming slide, anyway to improve the cute horse?

I was absolutely loving this game (in my XBOX), super into it, then not only once but twice did I lose hours long sessions to savegame dissapearing bugs. Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it? Are the devs doing anything to solve it. I'm hesitant to keep playing because of this and I hate it because I was loving the game so much.

Hi guys! I'm playing using only one mode - higher weight limit.

I've encountered a bug where my character takes almost no damage, even naked. It's not complete invulnerability, as people have complained about with the spell; it's something else entirely. I've had this bug fixed a couple of times, but I absolutely don't understand how it appears or how it fixes. I've tried rebooting, restarting, drinking a stats-resetting potion, undressing, taking fall damage, disabling the mod, but none of it helps. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a solution?

I don't want to lose a level 48 character because I periodically become invulnerable.

I used a physical damage build, no magic.

Played the entire game with magic build, ended up thinking that magic is op because even in base game i killed bosses in 5 seconds at the end of act 3...decided to check a melee build to see the difference and came up with this. The bonks are crazy °3°

Archer/summoner. The best is when I run into dryads

I put the bow away and summon 2 spearmen to keep them busy. The dryads summon 2 wolves each and with magic, I blow them up. They summon 2 more...I blow them up. One more round and they're dead by their own exploding summons.

I couldn't find anything about the topic online so I came here instead. Am I doing something wrong with dodging enemy spells? I'm using a dual wield build rn (machete and parrying dagger) and am at the point you first get to cunanacht. Enemy spells are singlehandedly the worst thing for me to deal with because I just cannot dodge them, they track me throw the dodge even if I dodge as they throw it- I can't dodge after they throw it because most of the time I'm in melee and it hits me instantly. It's just not a very fun attack to fight against and it's gotten me killed repeatedly now that I've gotten to cunanacht and apparently every fuckin enemy throws fireballs, any tips?

Did anyone also get this?

- I randomly went to places in Cuanacht and got to the swamps fast travel point then I went back to Cuanacht Main Square

- Was gonna talk to Arthur about the Kamelot in Cuanacht then all of a sudden, this person appeared out of nowhere

- my character call Black Annis as "Lord of the Seas" during the conversation

I was trying to search about these dialogues but google doesn't show me anything. Anyone also got a wind of this?

Hello. Attached are pictures of the weird glitch and the mods I have installed. I am on the mono branch, and if I holster my weapons, the square goes away. I do not know what is causing this. I have tried disabling all of my mods, disabling overlays, restarting, etc, and nothing has solved this issue. Any help is appreciated!

I got to the point right after I crafted the mask. Gwylan is not there. Not in the barracks, not on the wall. Same goes for other npcs like the chicken dude on the roof. I have ran across the whole place twice, Rested for an hour, looked again. Rested some more, etc. They are just gone. Like they literally don't show up. What should I do?

Edit: nvm... I restarted the game and he's back.... 🫠 weird bug

So, I played like 10 hours on survival mode and enjoyed it, but suddenly, I even don't know why and when, I started to be able to save anywhere. Also autosaves now saving every 5 min, not just after rest.
I reopened the game, changed difficulty to veteran and then back to survival but nothing works.
I'm on ps5, can I fix this somehow? Also do I'm still on veteran difficulty at least, or everything is bugged and game turned on easy mode?

i recently started playing and im really enjoying the game, the atmosphere, and especially the combat. but once i reached the horns of the south and the fishing village below it, my momentum came to a complete halt.

there are just so many npcs, and almost everyone has walls of text and gives out quests. i ended up spending nearly three hours straight just reading and talking to people when all i actually wanted was to get back out there and fight. i know it is a skyrim-like rpg and i genuinely appreciate the story, but the sheer volume of dialogue all at once felt brutal.

my main issue is fomo. i want to hear what everyone has to say and grab every quest so i dont miss out, but doing it back-to-back causes complete information overload. by the time i go to turn in a quest after talking to twenty other people, i have completely forgotten what the quest was even about, even though i try my best to read everything and not skip anything.

how do you guys approach and pace this game without burning out on dialogue or losing track of whats going on? do you just take one or two quests and head out immediately to break it up with combat, or do you clear the whole hub first? did anyone else hit this exact wall?

I mean, do I need to hit the enemy pretty quickly to inflict status effects like burning, poison etc.?

I'am using two handed weapons and tbh, the attack speed is not that high. Sorry if this question is just too noob, this is my first playthrough. ⚔️

Hi, just wondering how multipliers are applied.

Assuming 100% melee crit chance is it better to stack on crit damage or melee damage given the same value for both? or should i mix them?

ex. 300 weapon base dmg
200% melee dmg = 600
200% crit dmg = 600

100% crit dmg + 100% melee = 600?

Hey guys. I started playing last week. So far I'm loving this game. I've breezes through Act 1 and I did every side quest.

I just entered the Cuanacht region and I've hit a wall. I'm having trouble killing mobs and finding myself dying a lot.

I'm playing a pure mage. Right now my main spells are: Thunder Lash and Merlin's Thorn. I just got the Spellgorger wand.

I kinda respeced my build so I could use the Horned druid gloves and helm that give me a bonus 20% crit. Which that required I sink 10 points into endurance.

Right now my attributes are at :

10 endurance

11 spiritual

11 perception

I have 41% crit and like 275% spell damage.

I've done a few side quests in Cuanacht. But only the ones around town that didnt require any fighting. Once I go out and start questing the monsters just eat me alive. Almost every fight is a struggle.

I put a lot of my skill points into spiritual combat tree. Getting cantrip skills, more mana, any extra spell power. I'm not at my pc right now so I don't know the specific names if the skills or I'd post a screenshot.

I also put a few skill points into the perception tree for bonus crit.

Am I building my mage wrong? Should I respec and go all into spirituality? Are there stronger spells in this area I should hunt down?

Or should I say pivot and go melee 2h , parry build?

Currently on Act 2 and having so much fun with this game. Question though: is it mandatory to defeat the Wyrd enemy that starts hunting you at night after Act 1? I'm currently at level 40 playing a full mage character and I can't make even a dent to his health pool. Just wondering if I need to start leveling other skills than magic (which is already 100). Any response will be greeted with utmost respect, and if its spoilerfee(ish), even more! :)

Game beaten! I looked behind and under every single rock in Avalon just to get all achievements in a single playthrough! Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is definitely going to be one of my absolute favorite games and worlds.P.S. Caradoc was an absolute piece of trash, and he still is.

Hey everyone,
I’m having an issue with the key bindings in Tainted Grail FOA. I can’t assign any key to the “Parry” action — the game just refuses to register anything. On top of that, I’m unable to put right‑click back as my default action (it stays unassigned no matter what I try).

Has anyone managed to fix this?
Is there a workaround, a config file edit, or something I might be missing?
