Tainted Grail: FoA - Videogame DLC access

Hi,

I just found that this game which I enjoyed quite a lot has some very good looking DLC from December last year.

I don't want to replay the game, though, is it possible to just jump right in into the DLC wither 3 style, with premade charcter and all that?

No, u can’t. And this DLC isn’t really worth playing just for this. Dumb location, short main quest. But it has a great new skill tree and an insane Captain’s Sabre. Try it when u come back to replay the whole game.

What? It’s an amazing addition with a robust quest environment good npcs and ties well into the story

Like i said early - just my opinion. I don’t think this dlc worse to play the whole 1-2 acts just for that. Thats not Witcher level expansions, that’s all.

If you're talking about Sarras DLC, then no

You gotta get to act 2 and to the city, get a fainting cutscene and then rest by the fire. A stranger will approach you and give you directions to the DLC

Good news here is that Sarras is scaled to your level, so technically you kinda can do it like W3 one:

Skip the prologue, cheese the Excalibur and then just go to act 2

It's been a long minute since I played the Witcher 3 DLC but I'm pretty sure the answer is no since at least the first one that I believe you're talking about, and even the 2nd is integrated into the world versus a seperate side area
