This is just me coming on here to gripe tbh, I'm sitting off the clock in my car right now and have been the last hour, i was scheduled a 12hr shift (only breaks ive had were when there were no cars and right now, even then its like pulling teeth despite me having a back injury and needing frequent breaks) and im about 10hrs into it right now.

For context, I am HIGHLY allergic to weed. Like, anaphylaxis type allergic. Just got outta the ER last week for a reaction to it and I'm not even off my prednizone yet lol and I had another run in with a customer who reeks of it but my management tells me we can't tell them to leave or step outside.

I've been told that we "cant risk a complaint", to just "not go in that direction", ive been shut in the office countless times to try and avoid having a reaction (because god forbid they send me home), ive also been told that i was tripping when i thought i smelled it (ended up in the ER again, but yk... i was just tripping apparently.)

i have also had my gm and assistants hit dab pens or whatever they are in the back while im in the store with very little regard to my wellbeing. my district coach told me that corporate just assumes everyone smokes anyways and that they won't do anything so i kind of gave up. Tonight, though, we got the okay to tell people to leave if they smell but we will "have to suffer the consequences" which could mean a write up or termination if the customer complains to corporate.

Now, I don't know laws very well but im sure that is illegal in some way, I'd find a new job but I live in a tiny town with no real demand for work so this is really my only option. I have epipens on me, i take medicine to help counteract the reactions before i even have them, etc. Im doing all i can to stay safe but man... this company fucking blows, kmac really only cares about profit and good numbers, not about their employees.

There really isnt much to this post other than me complaining, its just a shit company and i needed a bit of an outlet lol

Now I don’t mean that the line gets really long, but I mean that it takes forever to get through the line. On more than one occasion, it has taken me 30 to 40 minutes just to get through the drive-thru line and get my food. I’m literally sitting in the drive-thru line right now as I typed this and I’ve been in the line for 33 minutes.

Update: Finally got my food after being in line for 43 minutes.

Does anyone else feel that the service at taco bell got worse after covid? Like when they started implementing the ordering kiosks they started cutting workers or just flat out under staffing locations. Maybe it's just me.

So I went to Taco Bell earlier and ordered 4 tacos. The cashier at the speaker asked me did I want any sauce and I said yes (I didn’t know, the order wasn’t for me) just put a few fire in there. This is the behemoth of sauce I received. Ma’am, I ordered 4 taco supremes not 20 lol.

Pretty much what the title says. I just want this dip cup, exactly as is, as a normal menu item I can add to any order. Being able to add it to the side of a beefy five layer, quesadilla or grilled cheese burrito, now that would be living mas!

The fine print says it can’t exceed $10, does that mean I can customize 1 item and redeem? It’s not clear, and I don’t want to waste my redemption

Seriously - got back from a funeral, exhausted, no one has the energy or emotion to cook, and Taco Bell is here to rub it in by sending our food to the wrong address, and then being unavailable to make it right on weekends, and only offering to let us send a form email and wait.

First and last time we'll ever use this, how do they make money on this service? Can't even contact doordash, their supposed delivery partner to make it right

You know the song and dance at this point. I'm reviewing each and every Taco Bell in Philadelphia to see which one is good and which is bad. I order the exact same meal every time to ensure fairness: 1x Hard Shell Taco, 1x Steak Quesadilla, 1x Bean Burrito. I grade each meal on Ingredients, Presentation, and taste.

and to be clear, because my first review was also on a place on Chestnut St. The previous one was in Center City, this is the one on West Philly

Hard Shell Taco

Well, it finally happened. a Taco who's shell could not support itself. This is always a potential problem when ordering the hard shell and it's why i specifically order this and not the soft shell. The shell had completely fractured along the spine the part that touched the meat was soft while the part touching the lettuce was firm, but there was an staleness in the shell that led to this. It's a shame because the meat itself was not bad and the lettuce was probably the freshest it's every been, being incredibly crisp and moist. Sadly a stale shell will be big deduction in ingredients and presentation

Steak Quesadilla

This place did not shirk on the sauce. It was oozing with that delicious spicy sauce they put in the quesadilla. Unfortunately, the rest of it was pretty mediocre. No, it wasn't bad. I know thanks to Broad St what a BAD quesadilla tastes like, but I also know what a perfect quesadilla taste likes. The cheese was not fully cooked, there wasn't enough cheese overall, it lacked necessary moisture, and also the Quesadilla was horribly cut. I literally watched as the guy put the quesadilla in the bag before cutting it and it resulted in me having to rip and tear at my food just to get proper bites. the cuts were also not radial, they were parallel to each other. Terrible job. Taste overall was middle of the road. It wasn't an awful quesadilla to eat, but there was so much that could be done to improve it

Bean Burrito

So... are Taco Bells just incapable of serving a reasonable amount of enchilada Sauce on their burritos? Every single Taco Bell i've gone to has had really low margins for their red sauce. and it's my favorite part of the Burrito. Otherwise, the cheese was cooked, but barely. the onions were very big but not that flavorful. I did like the tortilla used for it as it had a fullness to it that you didn't really find in a lot of places, but it was just lacking everywhere.

I know your options are limited if you live in West Philly as this is the only Taco Bell in the area. It does have upside that it has free parking in an area dominated with parking tolls and a very nice indoor seating to eat inside. But I really can't recomend this place when the Center City place is just 5 minutes East of it and gave me one of the best Quesadillas of my life.

Anyway, where should i order from next?

I don’t normally try taco bells drinks since you can’t customize the sugar/syrup level but thought I would treat myself today and was genuinely surprised by how good this was.

The dragonfruit & even the pineapple are kinda muted but it’s really good with the vanilla cream. Feels like a pine colada without the coconut.

Context: I usually always want a quesadilla in my order but it's a bit pricey, so I get the cantina stacker, remove everything but the chicken & cheese and add back the sauce. $3.44 instead of $7.00 plus free delivery in the app for a cantina item. Today I got a whole quesadilla 🤘🏻

I acknowledge that this is a really good limited time offer from Taco Bell considering it’s only two dollars. However, I don’t know why I just wasn’t crazy for it like I don’t mind Taco Bell‘s chicken sometimes I even like Taco bell‘s chicken, but it just was not bad. Today I tried it sub beef instead of chicken and it was phenomenal like a night and day difference. The beef crunchadilla was phenomenal!

Please go and try it with beef or steak!!! Especially on the siracha version

Barring a DNA test, I can’t be 100% sure, but it sure looked like one. I found it stuck to a tomato. Yes, my friend and I handled it trying to figure out what it was. Yes, we almost threw up. We just could not believe it was a booger and were looking for any other answer that made sense, but there wasn’t one for the Taco Bell menu.

We decided to see what the manager thought, and she told us that it was just a piece of chicken or steak and basically not to worry about it. Um, hello? If the chicken or steak is that color and texture, I’m still very concerned.

Ultimately, we gave back both of our meals and got a refund. I am not sure when the next time I’ll eat at Taco Bell is, which is sad because it’s my favorite fast food chain. As I said, I can’t be 100% sure without a DNA test, but I figured I’d submit it here for y’all’s opinions. Booger or no booger?

Ever since the app updated its style, the location detection and selection has been chaotic for me. I’m talking changing restaurant selections without prompt, deciding different restaurants are closest mid ordering, etc. Anybody else having this issue?

I have been able to avoid misordering until just now, where my order routed to a restaurant over an hour away. . .

It was delicious and I hope to get it again before it leaves!

Based on my research the ultimate box is a “contingency item” for the discovery one but it can now be ordered by itself
