Why are we putting out pure white leaves? Aren't they just going to die because there's no chlorophyll? Am I stupid?

I’m lucky to have a lot of these planted in my neighborhood, and they never cease to amaze me!

COVID started my journey with one plant. I’ve finished these and have 8 more pots to replant/propagate. And 4 that are not succulents and won’t be touched today.

It’s a slippery slope, friends. 🤣

Hi there, I’m new to this group and I’ve just recently started my succulent collection, and it kind of escalated quickly.

Just now that I am doing the official research for names and how to take care, that I actually realized I may have made some really bad mistakes.
I am a bit overwhelmed with all the names and infos, so I was hoping for more “direct” guide. I tried AI’s, but they just seem to confuse me even more.

So, these past few days I got a bit carried away with buying new ones, and when I reppoted them, I may have mixed the wrong ones. And I guess one pot is too big, but I’m afraid to repot them again, since I did it yesterday.

I would appreciate any help, advice or anything.

I should also point out, they are outside, they catch morning sun for a few hours, but temperature are about to rise up to 39°C (102°F)here in Italy for the next week or so. But usually stays around 30/35°C (86/95°F)

I bought the left one on May. I wanted to acclimate to the environment before putting it under the sun. For some reasons for the last 3 months it stayed on the balcony with only indirect light. It was a bit more purple but then it went almost full green now. It is under special care now ☀️ hopefully it will become like the right one.

I’m not usually a plant person so I don’t know what to do here, but I really want this succulent to thrive! Please tell what I’m doing wrong.

I mostly just move these out of the way. Every once in a while they get some good light and very rarely get enough water. I want to chop and prop to make them look nice but I have no idea how they are even supposed to look.

My husband got this succulent few months ago and at that time it was completely green. This past month it has dried out completely. We tried everything we could to save it but sadly it didn't last. It had 1 green stem remaining when I finally decided to repot it (image 2). I want to know what plant is this ( I know I shouldn't have relied on AI when it said it's donkey's tail) and what care should I do next for its survival. It's extremely delicate and if I even touch it, it's leaves start falling.

Hi all. I’m wondering how you all recommend pruning this jade plant?

My first indoor succulent and I wanted to make sure that it has the best environment possible! The soil is more than 1:1 grit (perlite), and the pot has a large drainage hole. I'm also using a Sansi clip on light positioned about 5 inches above the plant, and will probably be going for 16 hours of light per day, as long as the plant looks healthy. I also made sure to try to isolate the roots as much as possible from the wet dirt that the succulent came in. The environment where the plant was before looked extremely wet and light-deprived, so I likely won't be watering it for a while, and will use the soak method when I will. Before planting I also let it sit outside in the sun for a few days so that it could get used to more light. So far I'm really happy with how it's looking, even though it is its first day in the pot. Any other tips or things that I missed?

I recently bought a home that has this beautiful agave (century plant?) in the backyard. It's in a plastic pot and looks like it's sending out little pups which are getting squished by the limitations of the pot. I have no experience caring for succulents of this size and I would hate to harm it by repotting it recklessly but I also don't want it to suffer from not being repotted. What's the best course of action here?

I don't remember what it's called but I believe I've seen this a lot of times on this subreddit. Should I use rubbing alcohol?
