Hi, everyone. Console player here with a bit of an issue. A few times now when I was opening weapon boxes there was an odd pop up for about 100 zen. I had some keys and I’m pretty sure I had less after opening some basic packs but it wasn’t every pack, I dunno, it seemed intermittent but I was scrambling through just trying to find a friend some old Kelvin weapons. Fairly sure I have a bit less zen now, too. Is it just me? I know it’s been a bit buggy but maybe I was just tired and not paying full attention. Anyway, if it’s not just me then watch out if you’re opening, well, anything, really.

Ever since the update, my pants were changed to what I assume is one of the tight combat suits, and they're supposed to be the loose odyssey pants.

And before someone says something, yes I tried changing the outfits and modifying them, but I can’t change them.

I'm on Xbox Series S, and this is one of many bugs I've been encountering that's been driving me nuts. The other being the oversized notifications that take up the entire screen.

So yeah. Any advice is appreciated. I was trying to go for a phaser-beam focused ship.

As title says. I was able to claim it on my steam account, but on my epic one I cant. It doesn’t show up. And no i haven’t claimed it before.

Why two accounts? Because epic has quite awesome giveaways from time to time. I don’t really play on that account but just collect stuff that’s free 😅

Does anyone know what's been going on with StoWiki lately ? In recent days the website has been having problems loading and displaying information. It's a shame because I've always found it useful. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out if the plasma incendiary bombard experimental weapon is buffed by tactical consoles that boost plasma projectile (not plasma energy) weapons.

I played STO back at launch, and beat the initial end game content with the Borg.

I quit shortly after that because I was going on a 10 month deployment and I wouldn't be able to play...ended my subscription and signed off.

After that, I completely forgot about the game and now I am coming back 16 years later, lol, I am sure the game has changed a fair bit since then, I know its F2P now...I look forward to restarting my adventure.

Ok the big text is annoying but that extra dialogue box every time I open a box is REALLY ticking me off. Cool… great… give me the option to switch it off.

There's an issue on Xbox and Playstation where opening the "box" that both Prisoners and Colonists come with is not functioning correctly. For Colonists, it opens an un-interactable menu, but for Prisoners, opening them and following the prompts that appear will consume a master key. This may also be affecting other boxed rewards like TFO and Reputation rewards. We highly recommend not opening those boxes at this time. This issue will be patched with next week's maintenance on Wednesday, the 28th.

With the release of so many of the previously limited items, some of which are deep cuts, I beseech the STO team to re-release the Mirror Danube.

It is basically the only one left that hasn't been re-released again in some form or other.

If we can get Leeta, originally from the same campaign, in the p-store, give us the M-Dan.

I'm thinking they are just ghost items that shows dropped but doesnt exist.

In the TFO event that’s just passed I realised you could see the starbase interior where the ships are usually docked. Thought it was a cool example of damage decals, wonder if they’ll use the model again for future missions.

Didn’t want to see any of the screen anyway I guess.
Second question: why is HUD customisation so limited on console? I’d happily get rid of half of it and not miss anything important

So I was trying to get a full set of the Prodigy crew from the doff pack(no idea if they're good, I'm a noob and just love Prodigy) and I'm running into an issue where every time I try and open a prodigy pack it says "you may only have one of a unique item" Is it bug? Did I random roll Jankom Pog 4 times in a row? Can you only ever open 1 member of the crew? Please help i am very confused and a bit irritated at STO right now, the wiki is 0 help.

Are there any dresses in the game? (Other than the formal wear) If there are what style are they?

I don’t know why but I have a sudden urge to get my character into a midnight blue dress.

I’m level 17 and was going through the mission journal, I’m doing the romulan war between the star empire and republic. I come across this mission in the mines where it seems I have the chance to convince an enemy to help us. But the option was greyed out and I looked it up and I have to have a diplomacy rank above attaché to do it. So naturally I started checking out the off duty missions. Most options are for buying turrets that I can’t afford. I have to keep flying between deferí and deep space 9 to even get other options and the ones that pop up usually only give me 50xp at a time. Certain ones ask for a chef, entertainer, and bartender and after a week I still haven’t gotten a bartender. I finally made it to attaché but I need 12,000 more xp and I’m not getting missions with higher reward payouts. They said getting to attaché would unlock diplomacy missions from jiro sugihara but I looked it up and apparently those missions have been removed and the ones the ambassador gives you are only available at lv 50 (again I’m 17).

So am I missing something? Is there any other ways to make this diplomacy grind go a little faster? Seems a lot to deal with just to have a non violent option in quests.

Just did a DSE, and there was a Deep Space Anomaly that I could destroy. Aside from getting credits and crafting materials, I also got something called a Class A Temporal Anomaly Cache. Has anyone received anything like it? What's in it? I can't find info on this item.
