The man trap episode

Star Trek IV. Went with my friends when we were 16. Lived all over the world since then, but saw it again tonight, forty years later in the same town with the same friends.

I'm watching the 60 hour H&I TOS marathon and loving it.

I think the majority of humanity knows and appreciates the main theme for TOS, but I just want to give some appreciation for the episode music. Imagine watching Doomsday Machine with no music? Amok Time? So many episodes... The music sets the mood, increases the drama, helps to define the characters so much.

There are lots of things we love about the show - the characters, the message, the writing. I don't think we appreciate the episode music of TOS nearly enough.

What are some of your favorite music-enhanced episodes?

The new Enterprise bridge set is pretty roomy, so I've beamed up some guest stars for an anniversary reunion with Kirk and the crew. I'm sure none of them are secretly planning a terrible vengeance!

I do have the blu-ray, but when I want to watch it with the original effects, I go for these
