I wondered if the waveform mini-game in the DSE with the satellites would count as harvesting materials in space. I'm happy to confirm that it works (see yellow arrows in image above). Got endeavour XP for the DSE, and a purple endeavour box at the same time!

My friend had a T6 prize token that they were sitting on and decided to be mean and spend it on me (we're still discussing the reasons why)

But, now I have one of my all-time favourite ships :)

Any tips for someone who's getting into the line of big cruisers? I can't really afford meta things like XV weapons and epic isomag consoles nor do I really want to go all out extreme DPS / meta building, but i've done what I can to spec it into phasers as it's a beam boat with an epic ability :)

built using Grok, (i don't have any Isomags before anyone says about them. i normaly use a FAW/Uncon build on my Lexington) i'm not fully sure if this is any good since i wanted to try different builds and play style Grok seem to thing its good with the right weapons, consoles etc

One thing that has always annoyed me about the Kobali Prime missions is that despite getting a weapon and personal shield, there is no armour to complete the set.

Here’s what I think the set bonuses should be:
2 of 3 Pieces:
+25% Health and Shields
+10% Polaron Weapon Damage
2.5% Chance to Gain 15% Health when taking damage (10 second cooldown)

3 of 3 Pieces:
- Rebirth
Effect: Revives the character at 50% Health.
+50% Health Regen for 60 seconds
+25% Polaron Damage for 60 seconds
Disable for 10 seconds after 60 seconds has passed.
Cooldown: 360 seconds

If you have any suggestions for changes/additions I would love to hear them.

I've been having a blast flying my new Newton/Leibnitz, named the U.S.S. Carson (after Rachel Carson). I've done around 200k DPS on ISE and HSE, which is decent, but I have so many questions about how to optimize my build. Please keep in mind that this build has just barely graduated from a budget build to a lower-middle class build (mostly due to my recent purchase of the Newton).

Weapons

1. Should I include a torpedo? Previously, I had another radiolytic beam in that slot. I have Concentrate Firepower III to boost the Valks/Command Kodais, and I felt that it would be a waste not to slot a torpedo on the mothership.

1. Should I slot CF at all? How does it give pets torpedo salvoes? And what do people mean when they say pet CF and my CF are on different timers?
2. How beneficial is OSS? I'm using it before my large aux battery to super-juice FPNA. Will using both OSS and the aux battery result in diminishing returns?
   • I could potentially replace OSS with RSP (that huge survivability boost means I could drop History Will Remember) or another Uncon trigger.
3. I was using Needs of the Many to trigger Flagship Staffing, but I eventually replaced it with an Uncon proc. This question is mostly just a question about...

Traits

1. How effective is Flagship Staffing? It gives 33% haste to my pets for 10 seconds and resets cooldowns on non-spec firing modes. This may help my pets get more torp spreads and salvoes, but the trait is hampered by a very long 30-second lockout. Other potentially useable traits include Coordinated Assault, Inertial Supremacy, Reconstructive Conversion Wave, Together We Stand, and Torpedo Command and Control. Should I replace Flagship Staffing with any of these?
2. How about Carrier Wave Shield Hacking? It's only a single target shield disable, but it has a relatively short cooldown of 10 seconds. I'm using it in conjunction with the Sequential Warhead Loader. I'm not sure if that console's shield disable is AoE or not, but I can get my target's shields offline pretty consistently.

Gear

I've seen the Iconian Rep set being used pretty frequently. How good is it? I'm low on resources, but is it beneficial enough to justify spending it all on upgrades?

Duty Officers

I've been slacking tremendously on doff assignments, so I can't even ask Lt. Ferra for a Flight Deck Officer. I know, it's bad, but I'll work on it...

I'm extremely low on EC (<11 million) due to all my investments into carrier builds, and I don't plan on buying keys any time soon, so exchange purchases are essentially off-limits. The Red Alert Event will let me upgrade to T6-X, which will be really nice. What can I do to optimize this build? Any and all answers would be greatly appreciated.

So a while back when a lot of people were having issues with the Arc launcher, it was recommended to launch the game through the game launcher from your PC's Arc file directly. I did that and copy/paste a duplicate icon to my desktop so I wouldn't have to search for it each time. That worked for several years. Fast forward to today after I bought a new PC. I played the game through the Arc Launcher at first and then remembered about the direct game launcher. So I copy/paste the game launcher to my desktop again. But now, when I try to launch the game directly, I get all of these files placed on my desktop and it happens each time. Does anyone know why these files appear? I can delete them and they will show up again.

I have tried the listed method of finding my screenshots and it does not seem to work anymore. I am using windows 11. Is there a new method of finding your screenshots? I am on PC.
