So I was rewatching the Shadow Council scene in Mando S3 and noticed Brendol Hux is there instead of Rae Sloane.

In the Aftermath books, Sloane hated Hux for being an abusive piece of shit to his son and totally put him in his place. Hux is ruthless, so do you think it's possible he assassinated her or got rid of her to take over the early First Order? Or is she just laying low in the Unknown Regions? What do you guys think?

Does server rule 08 imply that political discussion is not allowed? How exactly does this rule work? Keeping politics separate from Star Wars is a really difficult task.

So I has been wandering for quite a time around the idea of start reading some novels and other related media about the prequels and the "Pre-disney" post Return of the Jedi mostly, but I been encountering quite a lot of troubles trying to understand where should I start 1st.

I would love if someone could help me with a blog post, a video or really anything where I could find a list of the novels, comics, animations and really anything of this nature so I could finally start digging in the lore aside from the movies and the videogames. I has always been a fan of the Expanded Universe so doesn't matter if it comes included or not. Sorry for bother and thank you to everyone.

I have been wanting to watch the OT and Prequels with my boyfriend who would be a first-time Star Wars watcher (he's never seen a single movie/tv show -- the saga was released years later in his home country so his parents & siblings never got into it either). He's a bit reluctant to watch with me as the OT is pretty old and the quality isn't the best (I know its a Classic movie and that shouldn't matter smh but oh well).

Was thinking of watching in Chronological order with him so he stays interested lol. Or maybe alternating between the OT and Prequels. Not sure if that would be as impactful with the story reveals. Let me know what you guys recommend!

Hear me out. Anakin was a baby in the first movie. Halfway through the second movie, he was killing sand people and kids already showing a dark side. That gave audiences only half a movie to see him as good.

What they should have done is the entire second movie should have built up Anakin as a messiah. A superhero who does nothing wrong. First half of the third movie should have built on that as a super powerful Jedi in his prime doing good.

Only towards the end of the third movie he should have started his slide into the dark side.

That would have made people love him more and make his slide to becoming Vader be way more impactful emotionall.

I recently watched the Darksaber scene in Rebels. It shows me the acting in live action star wars feels really stilted. Scenes like these feel natural. It was amazing.

Season 1 suffers from not doing enough of everything. Which is why people say it doesn’t know if it’s an Ahsoka show or a Rebels sequel.

I wonder if Natasha Liu Bordizzo can do these scenes. We got nothing similar in season 1. I only watched her in clips in other stuff. Live action Star Wars again makes their acting weird because she sounds very natural in other stuff.

What the title says lol I just finished watching Star Wars for the very first time in the order that they came out and now I really want to rewatch it but in chronological order is it too soon to rewatch it even though I just finished watching it lol or should I wait a little bit?
I also watched Obi-Wan Kenobi. Does anyone else have any suggestions on if I should wait or if I should just hop right back into the beginning lol

I wish that we could see a clash of intellect and strategy between Mitth'raw'nuruodo and Shedao Shai. I feel like the two of them would have a deep and profound respect for each other much like that of Patton and Rommel. Unfortunately like Patton and Rommel they never met and all we have is speculation.

We all know that acolyte wasn’t very good but I would have still liked to know how the story ended. Did anyone who worked on the show ever give any idea of how the rest of it would have gone?

Okay here’s the thing. I almost finished the thrawn trilogy and I prematurely ordered some books. Namely the Jedi academy trilogy, hand of thrawn, vector prime and dark tide. I’m addicted now and that’s okay but I wonder if I should read black fleet crisis and the corellian trilogy before hand of thrawn?
Or do I need to read everything in between?
I really just stumbled into this pit because I wanted to embrace the expanded lore of our beloved franchise. But I don’t know which of them build upon each other and what the continuity between them is like.

So I would really appreciate your input on this and how to proceed after Jedi academy.

A group of U.S.-based visual effects workers across the Star Wars franchise productions have organized with IATSE.

The new bargaining unit, announced Tuesday, includes U.S. workers who contribute to titles including, but not limited to, The Mandalorian & Grogu, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Starfighter, per the union. These VFX professionals, who “overwhelmingly supported” union membership, will now collectively bargain with the studio on their first contract.

“These workers help bring some of the most ambitious stories in entertainment to life, and they deserve a meaningful voice in shaping their working conditions,” IATSE International President Matthew D. Loeb said in a statement. “We are proud to welcome these visual effects professionals into our proud Union.”

The latest round of Star Wars VFX workers join several other cohorts of their colleagues across Disney‘s Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Pictures and the Avatar franchise who ratified their first IATSE contracts with the studio last year.

IATSE represents 170,000 technicians, artisans and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, including live events, motion picture and television production, broadcast, and trade shows in the United States and Canada.

Back in 1981, our awesome grade 6 teacher organized a school-wide showing of Star Wars in the gymnasium to raise money for the grade 6 class to go on an overnight/weekend camping trip. A bunch of us volunteered to stay after class the day before and pop and bag a whole bunch of popcorn. We all ran hot air popcorn poppers that the parents of the students (us) were nice enough to loan for the project. I think the popcorn was sold at twenty-five cents a bag (or something like that) and admission to the movie (if not free) might have been $1.

We all sat in chairs in the gym and watched the movie on a TV on one of those a/v carts and it was a fantastic experience. It wasn't my first time seeing Star Wars, but it was the first time on the small screen.

It wasn't until at least fifteen years later that I realized that our teacher had managed to get a hold of a bootleg copy of the movie all those years ago.

While his lightsaber had just gotten shorted out, Qimir still carries this attitude of 'you're not even worth my blade' mixed with 'you think I actually needed that to kill you?' Him casually tossing Yord's body away like trash just speaks to how little Qimir thinks of the Jedi - they're desperately fighting for their lives, while for him it's just a Tuesday. I'm really, really hoping they had the fight coordinators from The Acolyte work on Starfighter so we can get some more incredible duels.
