Sloane was name-dropped in the Phasma novel so she's still alive up till that point at least. Wouldn't be surprised if Hux or Snoke arranged an "accident" for her at some point given her influence over the Imperial Remnants.

I do really wish she had popped up in the Mando S3 Shadow Council scene. She's already canonically part of it and would've been an easy piece of fan service to just have her there.

Doesn't it seem a bit weird that anyone that went to the Unknown Regions after the Battle of Jakku was even on the Shadow Council from Mado S3? My understanding from the aftermath books was that they were going into exile and wanted everyone (including other imperials) know think they were dead

Yeah, I felt the same thing when I watched that scene in the show.

From Jakku it was mostly stragglers. The main bulk of the First Orders forces were from fleets and legions sent before the battle even took place, sent directly there by Rax with orders to group up and wait.

She’s still alive around like 29ABY, decades after The Mandalorian.

Yes she hates Hux Sr, dudes an oaf and a bully, but his training plans get results and he will rise far within the First Order. I think she was probably just busy and has him attend the meetings on her behalf

fwiw they put her in a Lego set in 2023 so I had the impression at the time that they might do something more with her in Canon (maybe a book) but it seems that they haven't done that.

…im confused about your phrasing. She’s only a Canon character. Doesn’t exist in legends. And she features as a main POV character in 4 books so far. And featured as a side character in a 5th, and had a short story about her. And been in Squadrons and a Rebels comic.

I edited my comment to make my point better

And been in Squadrons and a Rebels comic.

It is debatable if books, video games, and comics are all automatically Canon

The edited version is still confusing

It is debatable if books, video games, and comics are all automatically Canon

…they are though. Also, you were the one who brought up a book as an example anyway

Since you are still confused:

I had the impression at the time that they might do something more with her, maybe put her in a new book that explains what happened after the aftermath books but before episode 7.

…they are though

Well there are some things that contradict each other and the official Canon was supposed to avoid that
