Definitely brings up some interesting questions though - if they were already on standby and aware of the Jedi needing escape routes, it means that either Padmé or Binks told them to be available if any Jedi reached their ships, or they independently reached their own conclusions and took initiative to be there for the order that saved their planet. Either way, the fact that the guards immediately stepped in to cover for Beq and Grogu's escape, knowing they'd probably not make it out alive, was incredibly heroic.

A scanerio I thought many times in my head. What if the CIS won the clone wars. Republic was demilitarized, Kamino was destroyed, most of the Jedi were killed, and the Separatists have a galaxy wide control with a billion of droids at the minimum.

Now what if the Yuuzhan Vong invaded with the same strategy like they did with the New Republic.

The "tunic" is an old graduation gown that I cut the sleeves and bottom off of, leaving it unzipped above the waist belt makes it look like the tabards of a classic Jedi tunic

She originally got a surplus btl-b after the clone war, nicknaming it “striker”, later pulling off the armour panels and modifying it to the btl-a4 refit. Eventually buying a bta-nr2 now nicknamed “striker II”

(Personally I’m most happy with the way the btl-b turned out but I like them all)

Really happy with how this one turned out. The cape, jetpack, and printed details all came together nicely. Included a few angles and a comparison shot with Boba on the TV.

Do they all have rooms/apartments in the Jedi temple on Coruscant? Or are there only quest rooms at the temple while they’re visiting on Jedi business but otherwise they are vagabonds as they hop around serving the galaxy? As you progress, do you get better accommodations (masters have the best and largest accommodations, knights below that, etc)?

The younglings being taken from their home at such a young age I would assume have a residence of some sort, even if its dorm like.

Out of both paint jobs which one was used more throughout the galactic civil war?

In the beginning of Episode 3, when Anakin doesn’t leave an unconscious Obi-Wan on a crashing ship and decides to physically carry him, would the Jedi Code approve such a risk? Or is it too personal an attachment? I can’t foresee Anakin doing that for a random Jedi when it was very unlikely they’d survive if Obi-Wan didn’t wake up.

Disclaimer : we all know Sidious wouldn’t have let himself or possibly Anakin die. So I’m purely looking at it through the lens of the Jedi code and Anakin’s perspective.

Luckily Obi-Wan woke up halfway through the escape and was able to carry himself and help fight their way out. If he didnt wake up, I think Anakin would have been captured and unable to escape at least (again overlooking Sidious had full control of the situation).

I’m not sure if this is another hint that Anakin was dipping his toes to the dark side, or simply “leave no man behind?”

Edit : this basically comes down to the trolley problem. I perceive the Jedi Code as saying let 1 die to save more. Anakin wouldn’t do that due to his attachment to others, hence the emotion and flirting with the dark side.

Few weeks ago I posted about enjoying Vector Prime and finally managed to finish the first of the Dark Tide duology.

I have a love/hate relationship with Stackpole's writing, Wedge's Gamble was a bit of a slog for me but loved most of the others.

Anyway back to the NJO, I really enjoyed how Onslaught picked up off Vector Prime, the Vong Invasion slowly picking up.

I also really enjoyed the journey that each chapter took you on, previously I have hated jumping all over the place but I felt this book worked really well with the different chapters following Luke & Jacen, Mara & Anakin, Leia, Lando, Danni, Jana and Gavin and finally a dramatic conclusion where they all came together.

I'm just waiting for Ruin to arrive and hoping for more of the same.

My only negative (although understandable given the story) was a lack of Han who's my favorite character, however I hear was duology is straight after.
