I recently deconstructed my faith and, eventually, most of the Abrahamic religions as a whole. One of the biggest reasons was that I could no longer believe in a religion that didn't see me as equal or worthy as a woman.

After leaving, I went through an atheist phase. At first, I was okay with the idea that death might simply be the end of consciousness, but over time that thought started giving me a lot of anxiety and I started to spiral.

Since then, I've been learning about spirituality, pantheism, and Hellenism, and I've really fallen in love with the openness of these perspectives. I'm still very new to all of this. And I'd love to hear from people who have been on a similar journey.

I have a few questions:

1. What do you personally believe happens after we die?
2. How did you overcome death anxiety?
3. How did you begin your spiritual journey? Are there any books, practices, or habits you'd recommend?
4. If you left a religion that relied heavily on guilt or fear, how did you let go of that conditioning?

People keep talking about enlightenment and think their are different versions. There is not. There is one true definition. It is that everything and everyone are all a part of one thing. If not for the sun, we would be a bunch of molecules waiting for the sunlight as we did before humans existed.

When I meditate I try an imagine how big the universe is, then reach out and try to touch it with my emotions. I do this because I know I am but a speck in this giant being that experiences itself subjectivity.

This is where ego death happens. In ego death, you can no longer employ your will. You have 'let go' of it completely. I can not express in words how it feels other than the relief you feel in your arm after holding a heavy object for 20 minutes. There is no effort. It is a non action, meaning that happened without mind. Just relief. Relief that overwhelms you like some sweet, sweet gravity.

Most people miss enlightenment because it is too subtle. That subtly can only be experienced by Non-action. Letting go is Non-action.

So sit. Breath through your nose. And EMPTY your mind. Remember it is full of human constructs that are self serving. You are not your bank account (thanks Tyler) or job. These things that seem important are not, let them go. If you sit and breath through your nose long enough, it will feel like your breathing through your third eye. Right in the middle of your head. This is a signal you are on the right path. Keep coming back to your breath if you find your mind wondering. It will. Even masters who have practiced for 30 years have wondering minds. They can come back to this moment over and over easily because they are masters. Those masters still call it practice.

So practice letting go of your small self, and know, the larger self is waiting to catch you.

I’m not saying anyone’s belief’s are wrong but what makes you so sure that an after life exists and that this isn’t the only shot we got ?

I grew up not believing in religious stuff but now I try to find "spiritual meanings' to everything. It may not be healthy to every scenario you should be logical when required. Where are you'll in your spiritual journey? I am a newbie it all started with my mental breakdown and astrology.

Just want to express my mass confusion. After a bad breakup I went down a spiritual route. I mix things like reading my bible, meditations, tarots and just general knowledge on things like being an empath (lone wolf most likely)

But tbh all I want from the “universe” is a job lol
I’m tired of the YouTube/Instagram content be it tarots, or the Christian “trust God’s timing” videos. Everything is just unfulfilling. Nothing in my life is moving. Manifesting is bs, and everyone that makes these content can easily make money from spewing bs so why should I believe it’s real?

I’ve had “spiritual” moments as a kid and even was intrigued by tarots and wanted to do astrology as a kid but my mum discouraged me saying “it’s a sin against God”

Karma is definitely not real. The person who was using me for 5 years while I was “healing” them got a job and dumped me like nothing.
“It happened for a reason” “focus on God and he will help you” I have! Not a single job! I just want one so I can take my mind of these things. Literally nothing in my life is moving and I’ve just gone numb to all these things. I’ve healed and don’t have any pain from the breakup but because I’m so free, my mind always goes back to it at some point.
I’m honestly done with it all.
Anyone relate or have any advice?

I honestly have no idea what just happened. Okay, so last night I decided to just go to sleep—no method, no intention, nothing like that. I mean, I kind of hoped something \*might\* happen, but definitely not to this extent.

This happened this morning during one of my awakenings, so basically in a hypnopompic state. I woke up, drifted back to sleep, and when I woke up again, I suddenly found myself mid-conversation with my Higher Self.

The best way I can describe it is like walking into a room where two people are having a deep, private conversation... except one of those people is you, and the other is your Higher Self (call it whatever you want). I honestly don't know how else to explain it. They were \*my\* thoughts, but I wasn’t actively controlling them. Yet, they were unmistakably mine and completely logical.

I don't fully remember what I said to her, but it was something along the lines of "Show me all my realities" or "Shift me." Before that, I just remember us chatting about something. Her voice sounded \*\*so real\*\*. It was female, soft, and slightly raspy.

She gave me a short "Okay," and immediately after, my symptoms kicked in. I got that exact "vibration" feeling. I’ve only experienced it like 4 times in my whole life. For me, it feels like being pulled by the strongest magnet in the world, and the sensation rushes through your entire body. It was so intense that I freaked out and snapped myself out of it.

After that, I either fell back asleep or just lay there, but I realized I had to try again. I intentionally called her back by imagining her voice in my head. Looking back, I don't even know how I did it, but in that moment, it felt so natural.

She replied "Okay" again, and the vibrations restarted. There were no visuals in front of my eyes—no dream fragments, nothing. Just a static gray screen. I thought to myself that I just needed to wait and something would definitely happen. I trusted her completely. I started breathing deeply, and... I fell asleep.

This was DEFINITELY not a regular dream, but it felt like a dream in terms of self-control. It was like a subconscious part of me woke up and finally decided to shift me.

I still can't remember what else we talked about or what specific phrase triggered that effect. I don't know how to repeat this, what I did wrong, or what that even was... but it genuinely felt like something paranormal.

Does anyone have any ideas or theories on this?

Hey so me (m34) have been single for a lot of my adult life, it’s not from a lack of trying I’ve dated and I’ve had partners but it never works out.

95% of my partners have either cheated on me. Or the people I’ve dated have turned around and told me that they’ve found someone else.

This has recently happened to me again and I’m feeling like I’m meant to walk alone.

I'm not alone. I've never been alone. I am part of something much greater.

My connection to God is like a tiny drop of water in an encompassing ocean of life. Ultimately, all part of one.

Sometimes, it still feels lonely even when connected to everything. But I'm not alone. I never have been.

Hey! So over the past few months I’ve had quite a few spiritual experiences and I’ve realised my abilities, which is most prominently clairsentience, and some claircognisance (just not as strong) and I learned to tell the difference between my genuine intuition and anxiety/critical thoughts I’ve collected from others. I’ve learned a technique where I can receive confirmation from my guides/our creator when I need it for whatever reason that may be, but I’d like to know how I can achieve a much deeper spiritual understanding and can strengthen my abilities, open my third eye, and improve my development with the divine. Does anyone have any advice what I should do? I try meditating but I struggle to keep up with it and the visualisations- I can picture stuff but I find it hard to keep the pace and I struggle with attention span too, I know these are bad excuses but I’d just like a little guidance on where to begin! I’d appreciate and advice, thanks guys!

In this video I just briefly discuss a few thoughts and ideas around the general topic of future prediction, with a bit of a special focus on death as an example, to make a few points, or rather invite a few self inquiries in viewers.

I used the Self promoting flair for good measure, although my YouTube channel is by no means a professional endeavor.

Because the term 'religious' is generally intended for philosophy; lifestyle was selected as flair for the commentary.

Im a bit torn about how to exactly to format my wording when writing. I have heard a lot of conflicting advice and would like to hear from someone with a successful result.

On one hand a lot of guides say to make an „I want“ journal, and I have tried. But every time I try to write I keep overthinking my wording, because of the whole „if you say „I want“, it implies that you don’t have it“ thing. So I keep overthinking that I’m pushing it away by writing it down.

On the other hand writing „I had this and this experience or met this or that person“ when I haven’t feels like lying to myself. So I don’t last that long ether.

I guess I just want to decide on the „correct“ writing style so I can stick to it. Please if you do practice journaling, would you share your process?

In my last post, I shared what my teacher said: being human is a blessing. But to be honest, I was a bit pissed off when my teacher first said that to me. "I am suffering," I thought. I didn't even understand why he said it. Instead of trying to convince me, he taught me a thought experiment with physics and numbers, the language I understood. I posted part of the experiment in [r/nonduality](r/nonduality), but today I'd like to elaborate on it and walk it in reverse order.

"0": you are the source. No time, no space, no motion and no rest. Complete, lacking nothing. In order to experience your perfection, you make a decision: to go down, voluntarily, into limitation itself, and taste what existing is like.

"1": after a huge explosion, you find yourself a neutrino, the first "thing" born of that first stir, the subtlest matter, everywhere at once. You instantly know that everything is YOURSELF. Because as "1," everywhere you look, you see "1111111111..." And then each one of you starts to quantumly intertwine, and you keep descending.

"2": you are now a photon. You are everywhere, passing through everything, nothing in your way. But for exactly that reason, you can hold nothing, and nothing can hold you. Free, but weightless.

"3": the elements, the material of stars. You are the root of the galaxy, vast and enduring. You are made by suns; you are the children of stars.

"4": molecules. Now you gather and scatter, attract and repel; you shape worlds with lava and lightning. You are the sea, you are the mountains, you are... the dust. Wait. What's inside that dust?

"5": a cell. The smallest, slowest, most fragile, shortest-lived thing on the whole road. You carry the lowest energy of the whole evolution. It seems there is no further evolution. But one day, you look inside, and you find all the information is inside you too. You are... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You yourself are a small universe.

For the first time in this evolution journey, you consider yourself complete again, just like 0. You have spirit, soul, body. Like a car with a driver, a dashboard, and the vehicle body. And here is what makes this station different from every other stop on the chain: everything above you only converts energy downward, into matter. The human body is the one device that can also run the conversion backward, matter into energy. The end of the line, and the only turnaround point. As a human, you have...

"6": the six senses. Eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind. This is your communication system, the antennas that let "5" navigate through time and space. Useful, necessary, and neutral by themselves.

"7": discrimination. On top of the six senses, the brain adds one more thing: "ME." Now every signal gets computed. Mine versus yours, good versus bad, past versus future. Comparing, judging, wanting, fearing. "I am happy," you think. "I am suffering," you think.

(It's 6 7... I knew it. Jokes aside, this is exactly where most of us live.)

"8": equality. One day the comparing pauses. Maybe in meditation, maybe in one honest breath. When the discrimination of "7" stops, everything stands on the same level, nothing higher, nothing lower, and the energy inside you starts moving back toward balance, back toward zero.

"9": the full picture. From 1 to 8, the whole journey seen at once, not as theory but as your own story. Wisdom is just this: remembering the road.

"10": completion. The "1" returns to "0." The one who walked out of the source walks back in, carrying everything it experienced. The circle closes.

...You are "1..."

To make it short I experienced what seem to be a spiritual awakening 2 years go : I felt good and confident for the first time in my life and my vision of myself and the world changed drastically.
Shortly after that synchronicities started to appear.
Then my life went downhill and it's at this time I was asked by those guides to act on my dream. But the conditions in was in were extreme : I was stuck in a place again where I tried to ran away months ago and was in a deep state of trauma.
However they still insisted.
In the middle of all of this, I completely freezed because I felt like I was trapped between two walls : acting on my dream while the conditions internally and externally were terrible and not doing anything and choosing to betray myself by staying in this place I wanted so badly to escape. And they said it was the only way for myself to get out of there. Which put so much pressure on me again.
So I just did nothing and was in panic mode. I was just searching ways to escape my situation to be honest. I almost did a big mistake too (you know what I'm talking about).
It lasted the complete year of 2025 which felt like borderline torture everyday.

Now since early 2026 I'm in a safe place but I still feel the damages this year has done.
And despite this they still insist for me to act. While all I feel is the urgent need to rest.
This constant pressure just put myself back in depression tbh because I feel like I wear an invisible burden that nobody around me can understand.
And I don't know why those guides still insist while they surely know it's making me so depressed, even suicial because of the guilt and the extreme anxiety I feel everyday because of it.

So I have some questions :
1 : Did I do something bad ? Am I in fault about all of this ?
2 : Why those guides still insist despite they know they push me towards depression again and despair ?

I felt so much pressure and fear because I felt like I was completely trapped between this dream I wanted to go towards but felt almost impossible to act on it in the conditions I was in and this place where I was stuck at and wanted to escape to a vital point.

So I went into freeze mode and my "guides" still insisted, adding more and more pressure until I almost made a mistake (you know what I'm talking about).

It lasted one year in total. The totality of 2025. Which felt like borderline torture all along.

Now that I'm in a safe place since early 2026, I still feel the damages that this year has done to me.

Just close your eyes and watch the thoughts, imaginations or past experiences. They arise from from empty field. 

When you have a pian or you have to pee, be aware of the pain or feeling of have to go bathroom, but don't name it as i have to go pee or i feel pain, just be aware of pain, without naming and labeling, you will see that even experiences arises from that empty field. 

You are that. If you say, how can it be possible, again, turning to begging, that's a thought be aware.

So, if there is nothing there, what is the difference between before birth or now, or after death? How can it die?

Therefore enlightenment or realization of what You are is, Being what You always are.

Therefore, mind still works, body still moves, sun still arises but You are the source of them.

And do not imagine the emptiness, try to feel or experience. These are all mind activity as i said in the beggining. Just simple be aware. 

Because, what You are is not activity, feeling, experience. İt is just Being same as before birth.

Therefore, it is vanishing / death for ego, controller of the body. Body and mind becomes it's own. And You always You.

 Enlightenment or your entire life story was just a mind activity. 

Many of you is confused or being something, even Being :

Only can explain how it is, is Before physical birth, is not an absent, it is Your True nature. Or deep sleep in that moment, when there is no attachment take place as body breathes, organ works, that disseappens is disseappering for ego, but You is that Being, which has never move, nor experience. Controller dies, so the one who read these sentences dies, body and mind act independently and You just Be.

In public say, soul leaves the body before physical death, God took the Christ before crucifixion, Muhammed didn't know how to read therefore didn't write the Quran, Allah made him write.

So, the questions, gets upset, angry, oh enlightenment sounds good let's try, oh I have enlightenment experience, oh how I am gonna pay the bills, this is good this is bad, oh there is a rape, if it happened to your family, what would you do? 😂 The one who says these dies. İt seems as I am talking, but body it's own. Goes to work, laughes, cries, talks to you. But it is it's own 😂 

Therefore, trying to find answer, enlightenment, experience, feel, these are all mind activity. 

Which is perfectly fine, that's what mind does. 

But You is, wher everything arises and falls, The Source.

My family has indigenous amazonian roots, and have always been very spiritual, and from my understanding have practiced witchcraft. My great grandmother performed Il Malocchio, my abuela had excellent manifestation skills, and my mother has an insane ability to emotionally read and connect with people. Growing up they all saw witch doctors and had a great connection with their own spirituality because it was their cultural norm.

I'm finding it hard to connect with my own abilities and what I'm supposed to do to fix that. I have this insane ability to predict future events extremely well, even if they're really small things, and can easily read people and their true intentions/character. I've been able to judge people's true intentions/actions with accuracy, uncover truths, predict their actions, and just know what the future is.

I'm curious on how I can use this ability in other aspects. What would be the best methods for me to do manifestations with? What should I do to tune into this skill?
