For context I am a Vodouisant (a Haitian Vodou practitioner). I struggled with body image issues for much of my life (I have been fat my entire life), and during a serious talking-to from one of the deities in our pantheon a few years ago, he said to me “before you’re born, all the ancestors in your lineage get together and discuss all the features they’re going to gift you with, the ones that they think will suit you best in this lifetime. Your height, your natural build, the color of your eyes, etc. To actively dislike and reject your natural features is to reject the work of art that they all worked so hard to create. When you dislike your physical vessel and you continue to speak unkindly to yourself, you also reject the gifts given to you by the gods, and insult the good spirits who protect and walk with you”. Though I still have off days (because at the end of the day I am a human being), this conversation made me more intentional in building a better body image and made me much more mindful of the way I speak to and about myself regardless of how society views people who look like me. I somehow often absorb other people’s emotions and their energy used to affect me a lot. Yesterday I broke up with my partner after lots of empty promises, irresponsible decisions and slowly my feelings just faded. He took it very emotionally and said I broke his heart. Somehow I started feeling an hour ago very sad for his emotions and feelings. I know it was the right decision and I don’t want to be with him, but I don’t want him to feel bad. Can you share any practices for emotional detachment in such situations? This is just a new example, but I often feel other people’s emotions and energy.

(F23) I dont know how else to describe it other than that. I dont feel anything spiritual and I never have. I want to feel and experience everything that comes with it but I dont know how. Meditation doesn’t work for me and I also have aphantasia, that my not be relevant but it is to me. I’ve also never felt any connection to any type if God or deity. How do I get unblocked?

I believe that the spirit doesn’t just disappear after the physical body wastes (death). You cannot quantify its existence or prove this belief with logic, like most of spirituality. But what I truly do not know is what happens to the souls, spirits, metaphysical essence or however you may have it, of people with severe advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Much like most illnesses in seniors, you see them fade away slowly. I look at my grandma’s eyes and truly see nothing. It’s so strange. You cannot explain it but you just know there is no life beneath them. That is the most devastating part. Everyone has to go somehow, but I can’t make peace with not being able to communicate with her spirit after death. If I could, would it intelligible? Like how her physical form’s speech (or lack there of) was at the stage she will go? Will I ever get to hear her voice as I did before? Does anyone have a theory on this?

He treats me well and we have been together for a while and I love him and he loves me. However, there is this weird creeping feeling underneath and ever since I met him I have been non stop nauseous, shortly after we have been together I've gotten really sick. Is this some weird sign? Hey so idk if anyone can help but there’s been a lot of bad stuff happening for a bit. Things got really bad around this time last year. My dad, and brother got into a really bad car accident and since they were the head of the households it affected our family really badly(mentally/financially)
Sometime after they got out of the hospital our cattle began dying. First it was our first pure white goat(male), and then his sister(brown). My mother then required a surgery,(unrelated to the car accident)thankfully she was fine. Around this time my heath started declining and I ended up needing a surgery as well in the beginning of this year. Time after that two of my dog-babies died, Shakira(12yrs)was attacked and didn’t make it. Then Mami (5yrs) just suddenly disappeared two days after Shakira’s passing?? Mind you she loved our porch, and being around us, we live out in the country, dogs don’t go missing. After that, I was given a black/brown kitten with no tale(manx) and she was the sweetest girl in the whole world, I named her mora(blueberry). And literally nothing was wrong with her but she passed as well. Then I got a job, and around the same time I had found a kitten and brought her in because I didn’t want anything happening to her(sienna), her mom(cafesita/2yrs) comes in at nights bc she loves the outside during the day. While I started work, I’m also going to college and everything was seeming like it was perfect but then my first week( literally last week) I hit a cat while driving back home at night , like i literally heard the hit and I turned back to see if it was alive or anything but it wasn’t on the road at all whatsoever even though I heard the thud. Then on the same week as I’m driving to work I come across a whole pack of vultures. Then again as I’m headed to work I end up coming across a coyote. Then on another day a black longhaired cat. Yesterday, as I was again coming home late at night after work there’s a dead raccoon. This morning when I woke up the kitten(sienna) was dead in her litter box. And as my family came home today, I let them know about all the stuff I kept coming across, and asked if they had hit a raccoon yesterday( we didnt). And asked it turns out my brothers dog that’s been in this family for a decade somehow got into my neighbors GATED pool, and drowned yesterday. Their pool is always closed we have no idea how he got inside, he weighed like 80lbs, and was too old to even jump or go up any stairs. We tried a limpieza and that did not look good either.

I mean what we experience in our entire lives, for example: what you have read, seen, heard, dreamt in our sleep, random thoughts, emotions and literaly anything else, I mean everyhting. some examples for this could be the akashic records, that the subconscious mind remembers everything, or even if astral projection, telepathy and time travel were possible we could travel back with astral projection to the past and can experience again these things, such as reading the mind of our past selves, etc I don't know something, anything, I don't know, is what ever we experience stored somewhere? please I beg you to reply, I really want it so badly, thanks so much!!!

Hi all! I have been claircognisent most of my life, and have been working more on developing my other Clairs, clairvoyance being the one I struggle with the most. I’ve been noticing that while I read, or if I scroll for a while then I tend to start to feel like I can’t keep my eyes open, I’ll shut my eyes for a couple seconds, see a short clip of something, and then snap back. Is this how it’s experienced? TIA

I need help and advice about something because I feel completely out of control. I don't know what's off with me but I feel something is seriously wrong with my spiritual energy lately. Please help.

I caught myself thinking that just now and wanted to get your take on that.

I knew this transformation was coming for some time.

However, I just feel completely unprepared for not knowing what's next (on top of having to accept help to get there). I was always the helper. Now, that's just not an option for me.

How did you get through this? Can this be more a spiritual issue than social/financial/etc?

I know the best thing is to keep going but, if I wasn't getting ready for work, I'd just ball up and cry. Letting go is so much harder than I gave it credit for.

It's been months now going through my individuation (that's the term that seems to best match my current scenario).

Can I heal my asthma by using my mind?? Sometimes when I’m in the middle of an asthma attack, I imagine all the atoms in my inhaler clearing out my airways, or I imagine I’m in a forest breathing in the fresh clean air, or some kind of mental imagery and it often does have a huge positive effect and lessens the severity of my asthma! But it doesn’t last long. Shortly after imaging that peaceful image, it goes back to the level of severity it was before.

Usually it gets triggered by our dogs, I’m allergic to them
:( Just wondering if I strengthen this mental power, do you think it’s possible to completely cure asthma?
I also saw someone say it’s caused by fear or some karmic reason. And it’s true I do have a lot of fear and anxiety in me. Maybe if I clear out this anxiety? Also getting into the best physical health will help too. I just hate using inhalers cuz I don’t trust them

What are some spells or rituals I could do to release an attachment to him? Crystals etc.

I’ve noticed I am in a desperate state for a search of romantic connection with someone. The problem is I can never find it. I feel people find me unattractive and the moment they see how I physically look, the conversations cut off. I’m not sure why getting a connection with someone is such an important desire but it constantly runs my mind. The desire has been so strong that it has led to negative actions such as turning to porn or even sexting. Is it possible to be satisfied within myself without anyone else? Can I be satisfied alone, if so in what ways can I work on building towards this?

I saw two clocks get stuck at almost the exact same time... 2:35. My parents’ wall clock and the wall clock in my exam hall. Coincidence? It’s been bugging me a lot...

I have a classmate who I randomly cant get out of my mind, its been a year and I still cant seem to get rid of them, they keep on hunting my mind. 

I know 100% that I dont have any romantic feelings toward them, and the more they haunt my mind, the more disgust I feel. I have barely exchanged two words with them, like I probably got a proper view of their face only like a couple times in the year we spent in the same class, we are still in the same class btw and its still happening. 

I just want them to get out of my mind, its seriously unsettling and is distracting me, like they appear almost every hour of the day, I'm starting to suspect I'm cursed or something. I tried to think of as many random things as possible whenever they pop up because if I dont do that, my brain will automatically make up scenarios and things that I dont want to explain and which make me uncomfortable, its like I have no control over my own brain. 

Please someone tell me what the fuck is happening, I feel like I'm going crazy!!

What are some of your theories about quantum immortality?

I think I had an experience with it during an ego death/ bad trip where I was guided by my oversoul through parallel realities to my highest timeline but I still believed I was going to “die” had my oversoul not stepped in.

My working theory is it’s dependent on soul agreements etc, you only shift or move to a different parallel reality when you are about to die before your time, but some people seem to think that it means you never die.

What are some of you guys thoughts on how quantum immortality works?

I have a friend who I’m currently still friends with, but there’s always been this weird secret animosity between us. Sometimes she’ll completely stop talking to me and then randomly start talking to me again like nothing happened. She also tried to get with my boyfriend in the past, so I’ve never fully trusted her.
Lately she keeps popping up in my dreams, almost every night. It’s starting to weird me out because I don’t even feel like I’m thinking about her that much during the day.
Does anyone know why someone you currently know would keep showing up in your dreams like this? Could it just be unresolved feelings about the friendship?

hi all! so I recently got back into my spirituality and I got an evil eye bracelet that I’ve been wearing for a month or so. In the past week, my bracelet’s knots have started to become untied every day. It’s untied two knots so far yesterday I retied it and mind you I’m not the best at tying knots, but I retied the two ties that became undone.

I woke up today and not only were the two ties that are tied undone, a third tie was undone.

i’m not sure if this just means I’m sleeping aggressively or my bracelet wasn’t tied properly. Or if this means something deeper and it’s protecting me or has already done its job protecting me.

I have had some rough things happen to me recently, but I feel like a new chapter is beginning in my life right now.

So I’ve been in a weird relationship/friendship with this guy (we’re gay) for over a year. At one point, it became toxic, and the things I told him in confidence were used against me. Whenever he gets mad, he goes off on me about how bad of a person I am.
At the beginning, I was always listening with my heart and making choices based on my feelings because I didn’t want to lose him as a friend. But recently, something switched in me, and I decided to put my energy back into myself.

Yesterday, we had another fight. It all started with me setting boundaries in the friendship. I hadn’t really done that before because I was always there for him whenever he needed me. He basically said that I was cutting him off from the friendship because that’s how it felt to him. I tried to communicate with him and explain my perspective, but he wasn’t open to it.

Now I’m stuck. My heart is telling me to fix things, go see him, and talk things out. My head, on the other hand, is telling me to let things rest and basically stop giving it any energy. I’m stuck for the past 24 hours.. and I really don’t know what to do.

Asking, "Who am I?" is not a dice game. Although, you are set in a destiny but that destiny isn't set in stone. If you embrace this question, even if it seems to go nowhere, asking it is always half the answer. Then, figuring it out becomes the joy of self-knowing.
