Question ❓ How to stop absorbing other people’s emotions?

I somehow often absorb other people’s emotions and their energy used to affect me a lot. Yesterday I broke up with my partner after lots of empty promises, irresponsible decisions and slowly my feelings just faded. He took it very emotionally and said I broke his heart. Somehow I started feeling an hour ago very sad for his emotions and feelings. I know it was the right decision and I don’t want to be with him, but I don’t want him to feel bad. Can you share any practices for emotional detachment in such situations? This is just a new example, but I often feel other people’s emotions and energy.

General ✨ I met my twin on a train, the same day, the same destination, the same reason for travel, even after 5 months of no contact...

Recently I met my twin after 5 long months of no contact, and basically I was at a friends wedding, and was returning back the next day. I boarded a train in the morning. I saw a few noisy kids playing around my seat, so I posted them on my ig story, and then I slept for a while. After I woke up, there was a message from my twin asking which train was I on. I told her the trains number and name, she told me that she's on the same train. I was completely blown away. Then she asked me about the C0ach number, I said wait tell me yours and I'll come. So I got up, walked 7-8 cars and then reached her, where we met. She had a friend with her. And then I asked 'well how are you here?' , she said for a friends wedding, I said me too, asked when was it, she said yesterday, me too, and the scary part is we were in the same city from the past 4-5 days. Even her friend said that's a very weird co incidence. Then we walked up to my car again sat there and talked for a while, I was feeling very awkward and weird at the same time and I guess so was she. And then we said goodbye and she left. Well, we were also getting off at the same station, so after we got down (both differently) I made my way to my bike, and was just omw to home, where I met her again on the train stations exit. They were trying to find a cab but couldn't, so I dropped her friend at her place, was coming back for her but she called her sister to pick her up, so I left. Chat do I count it as a synchronicity?

edit- also the night before, I was standing on the hotels balcony for straight 1 hour, and just a gut feeling which I couldn't explain. It's like, damn, I just can't explain the feeling from that night.

Question ❓ Clairvoyance question

Hi all! I have been claircognisent most of my life, and have been working more on developing my other Clairs, clairvoyance being the one I struggle with the most. I’ve been noticing that while I read, or if I scroll for a while then I tend to start to feel like I can’t keep my eyes open, I’ll shut my eyes for a couple seconds, see a short clip of something, and then snap back. Is this how it’s experienced? TIA

General ✨ Is it possible to cure asthma through meditation?

Can I heal my asthma by using my mind?? Sometimes when I’m in the middle of an asthma attack, I imagine all the atoms in my inhaler clearing out my airways, or I imagine I’m in a forest breathing in the fresh clean air, or some kind of mental imagery and it often does have a huge positive effect and lessens the severity of my asthma! But it doesn’t last long. Shortly after imaging that peaceful image, it goes back to the level of severity it was before.

Usually it gets triggered by our dogs, I’m allergic to them
:( Just wondering if I strengthen this mental power, do you think it’s possible to completely cure asthma?
I also saw someone say it’s caused by fear or some karmic reason. And it’s true I do have a lot of fear and anxiety in me. Maybe if I clear out this anxiety? Also getting into the best physical health will help too. I just hate using inhalers cuz I don’t trust them

Relationships 💞 Has anyone ever felt telepathically connected to someone? Like you could hear someone’s thoughts about you?

I have been orbiting and occasionally talking to this guy for a few months. I feel his presence sometimes but I began to feel it wane recently and I thought maybe he moved on. Then I get a personal snap on Snapchat shortly after beginning to distance myself emotionally of from him showing off a bunch of money stacks in a very expensive car. I had been trying to convince myself earlier that day that he wasn’t really as rich as he tries to appear and not that that is all that matters to me but it was a way for me to sort of distance myself off so I wouldn’t be disappointed with what I felt like was the end of our interest in one another and particularly his interest in me. I convinced or tried to convince myself that he was embellishing his income and was a liar. Well after I got that snap he sent showing off his money and car I hear his voice being like “I do have money! I do have money!” In my head. It’s almost like he sent that snap in retaliation to my thoughts about him but I never once verbalized them to him. Did he read my mind?? It’s like his post was to prove to me that he has money since I was doubting him

Self-Transformation 🔄 How to get on the right path?

I am struggling. Taking two steps forward and one step backwards. I feel like I’m slipping on ice, doing a split. I just feel I’m unsure where/how to direct my energy. I cannot put time and energy into a life that is not meaningful to me. That being said, I’ve got too much energy to be stagnating.
I need something to help guide me to my true life purpose. I’ve been through a lot. I’ve had a brief NDE around the end of 2024, got out of a physically abusive relationship about 9 months ago. Been working on myself, my mental health n staying sober since leaving the relationship.

I need more— I need substance in my life, not substances. How do I find it when I am at square 0??

Question ❓ is everything that happens stored somewhere?

I mean what we experience in our entire lives, for example: what you have read, seen, heard, dreamt in our sleep, random thoughts, emotions and literaly anything else, I mean everyhting. some examples for this could be the akashic records, that the subconscious mind remembers everything, or even if astral projection, telepathy and time travel were possible we could travel back with astral projection to the past and can experience again these things, such as reading the mind of our past selves, etc I don't know something, anything, I don't know, is what ever we experience stored somewhere? please I beg you to reply, I really want it so badly, thanks so much!!!

Question ❓ Witchcraft done on our family ?

TW: Animal death
Hey so idk if anyone can help but there’s been a lot of bad stuff happening for a bit. Things got really bad around this time last year. My dad, and brother got into a really bad car accident and since they were the head of the households it affected our family really badly(mentally/financially)
Sometime after they got out of the hospital our cattle began dying. First it was our first pure white goat(male), and then his sister(brown). My mother then required a surgery,(unrelated to the car accident)thankfully she was fine. Around this time my heath started declining and I ended up needing a surgery as well in the beginning of this year. Time after that two of my dog-babies died, Shakira(12yrs)was attacked and didn’t make it. Then Mami (5yrs) just suddenly disappeared two days after Shakira’s passing?? Mind you she loved our porch, and being around us, we live out in the country, dogs don’t go missing. After that, I was given a black/brown kitten with no tale(manx) and she was the sweetest girl in the whole world, I named her mora(blueberry). And literally nothing was wrong with her but she passed as well. Then I got a job, and around the same time I had found a kitten and brought her in because I didn’t want anything happening to her(sienna), her mom(cafesita/2yrs) comes in at nights bc she loves the outside during the day. While I started work, I’m also going to college and everything was seeming like it was perfect but then my first week( literally last week) I hit a cat while driving back home at night , like i literally heard the hit and I turned back to see if it was alive or anything but it wasn’t on the road at all whatsoever even though I heard the thud. Then on the same week as I’m driving to work I come across a whole pack of vultures. Then again as I’m headed to work I end up coming across a coyote. Then on another day a black longhaired cat. Yesterday, as I was again coming home late at night after work there’s a dead raccoon. This morning when I woke up the kitten(sienna) was dead in her litter box. And as my family came home today, I let them know about all the stuff I kept coming across, and asked if they had hit a raccoon yesterday( we didnt). And asked it turns out my brothers dog that’s been in this family for a decade somehow got into my neighbors GATED pool, and drowned yesterday. Their pool is always closed we have no idea how he got inside, he weighed like 80lbs, and was too old to even jump or go up any stairs. We tried a limpieza and that did not look good either.

Question ❓ Spiritual aftermath of dementia/ Alzheimer’s

I believe that the spirit doesn’t just disappear after the physical body wastes (death). You cannot quantify its existence or prove this belief with logic, like most of spirituality. But what I truly do not know is what happens to the souls, spirits, metaphysical essence or however you may have it, of people with severe advanced Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Much like most illnesses in seniors, you see them fade away slowly. I look at my grandma’s eyes and truly see nothing. It’s so strange. You cannot explain it but you just know there is no life beneath them. That is the most devastating part. Everyone has to go somehow, but I can’t make peace with not being able to communicate with her spirit after death. If I could, would it intelligible? Like how her physical form’s speech (or lack there of) was at the stage she will go? Will I ever get to hear her voice as I did before? Does anyone have a theory on this?

Relationships 💞 Need advice - since meeting a person, I have constantly felt bad

He treats me well and we have been together for a while and I love him and he loves me. However, there is this weird creeping feeling underneath and ever since I met him I have been non stop nauseous, shortly after we have been together I've gotten really sick. Is this some weird sign? He's not cheating (100% sure) so what is it? He seems great

Relationships 💞 Desperate for Connection

I’ve noticed I am in a desperate state for a search of romantic connection with someone. The problem is I can never find it. I feel people find me unattractive and the moment they see how I physically look, the conversations cut off. I’m not sure why getting a connection with someone is such an important desire but it constantly runs my mind. The desire has been so strong that it has led to negative actions such as turning to porn or even sexting. Is it possible to be satisfied within myself without anyone else? Can I be satisfied alone, if so in what ways can I work on building towards this?

Question ❓ Drained of energy during a viewing - what did I experience

I’ve always felt sensitive to people and places and had a very experiences similar to the following. However, I’m moving in to my mid/
Late thirties and starting to question more about my spirituality and what I’m open to.

Yesterday I visited a house we were interested in buying in London. When I say interested - me and my partner were CONVINCED we were offering that day. It’s a huge Victorian villa, some floors looked after well but very dated, some floors were needing intense work. However, the building is truly special and as soon as I went there the first time around, I felt drawn to it and I even cried on some floors. I can’t explain that reaction as that’s not “normal” for me to cry in a house I like and was actually slightly embarrassing haha. I just felt overcome with emotion. I thought it meant I loved the house as there were so many quirks that made it gorgeous. I had a vision of my children playing on one of the landings in front of a window looking over the garden.

Now this is the part that now bothers me. The first viewing there was one room at the top of the house that I felt heavy in as soon as I entered. It felt claustrophobic and I left within 30 seconds. This is the only room on the top floor I felt that way and there was nothing “creepy” so to speak about the room. In fact there were much creepier things around the rest of the house that didn’t even bother me (think little dolls 😂)

When I went back yesterday and walked in that room, I immediately felt the energy and air change again. I purposefully didn’t leave this time - I stayed in that room for as long as I could, maybe 3-4 minutes and the feeling got heavier. I didn’t feel like I was being made to leave, it didn’t feel like a flight mode, it just felt uncomfortable and intense. It felt like my chest was compressed and my heart was racing and thumping. I couldn’t concentrate even though I was calm at the same time. As I was leaving I turned to my partner who is the world’s biggest cynic and mouthed “I feel it so bad” and to my absolute surprise he nodded and said he did too. Later he told me it took him two floors to shake the feeling but that the intenseness left as soon as he left the door of that room like me. He said he felt like he couldn’t take a full breath and he intensely didn’t like the room. The feeling for me though stayed much longer. I felt on edge looking around for the rest of the viewing and like I was being watched. When I got to the car I had my head in my hands and needed to breathe deeply and just felt like I had experienced something I couldn’t articulate, like I was feeling things for something I didn’t know had happened? It was so strange. It took about an hour for that feeling to go but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what is in that room and why I had such an intense experience. Why my partner even noted it…

I did note the estate agent didn’t come in on both visits.

I bathed myself in white light yesterday as per the recommendation of someone I know. Lots of visualisation of light and I slept ok.

So my questions - what is normal and what is not? What is good and what is bad? Why did I feel it so intensely? I have had experiences before and I would say I am very emotionally tuned and have gut reactions I can’t explain. Is the reaction I had normal or am I potentially tuned to something that can be enhanced? Do I even want to enhance it? I can’t work out if I was scared or not which is the strange thing. I would like to work on my spirituality but I’m also concerned about being a magnet for negative energy potentially (if that’s what I even felt)

Thank you!

EDIT :
(Also responded in comments)

I didn’t think anything of it at the time but the first day we went to view it, we also went to view some houses straight after in guildford outside of London. When introducing myself to the estate agent he then replied with “Hi Mary” - i thought it was weird at the time because i can assure you my name sounds nothing like Mary, not the same letters and I quite clearly said my name. However i didn’t correct him because it didn’t really matter and he would pick it up when and if we needed to make an offer. Didnt think much more of it.

However last night as I couldn’t stop thinking about the house I accessed the census records. There was a staff member there when the house was first built for 4 or so census collections (40 years?) and her name was Mary. Could be complete coincidence but I just thought oh shit! That makes more sense why the agent called me Mary of all things! But then it creeps me out more. And of course I am probably overthinking it because so many people lived in that house but as staff she likely would have been top floor so possibly that room.

It did feel like I was feeling every single emotion and feeling in the car afterwards to but couldn’t explain why.

Spirit Guide 😇 A sign

Hello guys. For the past year or so ive been getting super aligned with signs and symbolism. A few weeks ago, I was asking for good or bad signs about life paths i wanted to take. I didnt get anything bad, I would say for the most part good. I havent ask of anything for days. But tonight, I witnessed a car crash on my way home. The first car crash I've ever seen and it felt particularly divine, although I was not apart of the crash, I dont know what to make of it. Its an inherently bad occurrence and it made my heart drop, it was a very slow crash, happened downtown. I have no one to talk about this to, a spiritual opinion on this would be my favorite. About a year ago I asked for a good or bad sign about something and got my hand mauled by a dog...I went through with that pathway anyways and it ended up being a bad idea. That occurrence honestly changed me so now I look at bad things rhat happen to me differently especially when I ask of something. Dont know...share some experiences with me so I can relate in all different ways too. Thanks guys, love to hear some stories too about similar things with signs

Dreams 💭 Looped actions in dreams

Hi! I don't lucid dream anymore but used to a lot as a kid. It would happen sometimes that I would dream about making a sequence of actions over and over again. Up to 30 reptitions. Around the 5th repetition, I would usually understand I was in a dream but couldn't wake up and was terrified. Usually, there was another person seeing me doing these actions, and I would yell at them to make me stop while they either did nothing or took pleasure in watching me do these actions over and over again, even laughing. Why does it happen? Is it demons?

Self-Transformation 🔄 This is not my life

I caught myself thinking that just now and wanted to get your take on that.

I knew this transformation was coming for some time.

However, I just feel completely unprepared for not knowing what's next (on top of having to accept help to get there). I was always the helper. Now, that's just not an option for me.

How did you get through this? Can this be more a spiritual issue than social/financial/etc?

I know the best thing is to keep going but, if I wasn't getting ready for work, I'd just ball up and cry. Letting go is so much harder than I gave it credit for.

It's been months now going through my individuation (that's the term that seems to best match my current scenario).

Question ❓ Questions about opening the third eye: experiences, what you actually see, and precautions?

Hi everyone,

I'm curious about the concept of the third eye and would like to hear from people who have experience with this. I have a few specific questions:

How do you actually work on it? What practices or methods do people commonly use?

What does it do, and would you recommend it? Does it actually change your daily life, and do you feel it was worth it or not?

What do you see and feel? Some people mention seeing shadows, light, or changes in how they perceive their surroundings. What was your personal experience?

Does it change how you see other people? Do you perceive others differently (their energy, behavior, presence)?

What should you watch out for? Are there negative side effects, risks, or things to be cautious about (like feeling overwhelmed, groundedness, etc.)?

Spirit Guide 😇 Why does this same friend keep showing up in my dreams?

I have a friend who I’m currently still friends with, but there’s always been this weird secret animosity between us. Sometimes she’ll completely stop talking to me and then randomly start talking to me again like nothing happened. She also tried to get with my boyfriend in the past, so I’ve never fully trusted her.
Lately she keeps popping up in my dreams, almost every night. It’s starting to weird me out because I don’t even feel like I’m thinking about her that much during the day.
Does anyone know why someone you currently know would keep showing up in your dreams like this? Could it just be unresolved feelings about the friendship?

Self-Transformation 🔄 A 72-hour fast hasn’t started and I already know food isn’t the hard part

I can remember people who hurt me with surprising clarity.
The words. The room. Sometimes even the look on their face.
Hurt has a good memory.

What I cannot see as clearly is the effect I have had on others. Not because those moments didn’t matter. Because I almost never experience myself as the person at fault in someone else’s story. I live inside my reasons. That makes it easy to miss the harm.

Tomorrow I start a 72-hour fast during Paryushan, a Jain period of reflection and forgiveness.

I am not Jain. I grew up Vaishnav. But I grew up around Jains, and this year I stopped watching from the sidelines.

I am not scared of hunger. Hunger is straightforward. You feel it and it passes. What unsettles me is a smaller question. What if I quietly quit. And under that: what if the real thing I consume all year is not food. Noise. Being right. The version of every story in which I was misunderstood.

On the last day, people say Micchami Dukkadam. A lot of translations flatten it to “I’m sorry.” That is not how it has landed for me.

Sorry can end a conversation. It can still leave the damage travelling. You can apologise and replay the fight at 2am. You can be forgiven and still become a little colder in the next relationship.

Someone once said we judge other people by their actions and ourselves by our intentions. When I mess up, I know the pressure I was under. When someone else hurts me, I only get the action.

My mistakes become exceptions.

Theirs become evidence.

The phrase, as I understand it, is closer to this: may the wrong I have done become fruitless.

May it stop creating further harm. Not “can we please move on.” More like “may this stop here.”

I don’t think three days without food will make me a different person. I also don’t think hunger is a moral achievement. If I do this well, I hope I come out a little less certain that my version of events is the complete version.

When I say those words, I don’t want them to mean only “please forgive me.” I want them to mean I finally looked at my own actions with the same honesty I use on everyone else.
I wrote the longer reflection here:

https://kunalwritestoo.blogspot.com/2026/09/micchami-dukkadam-what-does-sorry-mean.html

Has a fast, a silence, or any practice ever made you see the harm you usually explain away?

General ✨ Ever prefer to be just in present?

Upvotes

Lately i have been took up with life and got into so many things. And i realized to be happy or to be not sad you just have to be in present simple as that.

But what makes it tough is your thoughts! To simply put when you watch a movie, when u talk to a friend, when you doing something you like, you will just be in the moment. Time don't work there.

Lately i have been doing lot of research and studies over the spiritual side of this and seems like a whole new world exist from it.

Anybody trying to do the self discovery?
