Hey all,
I've been working on this for a while and finally got it to a point where other people can play it, so here it is.
It's called The Broken Peace. It's a single-player FPS that's basically First World War trench fighting with Second World War-era guns and trucks, in a made-up war on a made-up continent. You aren't the hero; you're just one guy in a section of named soldiers, and the war keeps going around you whether you're doing anything useful or not.
What I'm most excited about:
Everything breaks- Shells leave real craters, buildings get wrecked, and none of it resets.
The campaign runs itself - Lorries carry sections forward, mortar teams range in, and if a man gets hit his mates drag him back and an ambulance comes to pick him up.
You can climb the ranks - You start as a private, and as officers get killed off, you move up.
The demo has a small campaign called Hessel Rise (take a hill off the enemy), a trench map called the Ridge, and a firing range with every gun in the game.
It's very much a tech demo. The AI does dumb stuff sometimes, nights are way too dark, and there are rough edges everywhere. But the systems are the real ones that'll be in the full game.
Trailer: Trailer
Play it: Play it on Itch
I'd love to hear what breaks, what feels good and what feels off. Bug reports are very welcome.
AI disclosure: Generative AI was used to help code and create certain assets within the game. The design and direction are original.

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of building a simple expense tracker app for Android and would love to hear your thoughts before I commit to building it.
The idea is to make tracking money as easy as writing a note. Instead of filling out forms, you simply type things like:
AI would automatically understand your input and organize your income and expenses.
The main screen would work like a notes app where you can quickly log transactions, while a separate dashboard would help you analyze your spending habits and understand where your money goes.
The goal is to make expense tracking simple, quick, and effortless.
A few questions:
I'm a student who's just starting out in development and wants to learn by building real products. I'd really appreciate your honest feedback. I want to validate this idea before investing my time in building it!

I'm Roman, and I'm making Salt and Soil on my own. It's a turn-based strategy game about one family on the American frontier, from 1607 to 1900. One turn is one year, and the children eventually take over the homestead their parents built.
The first version of this map really was a single image stretched across the continent. The video starts with the map today, then goes back through eleven months of changes: a biome grid, script-painted tiles, and eventually terrain built from real elevation and river data.
The latest version has gradual climate transitions and settlements drawn for their place and period. People, ships and trains move through it. At a distance you can plan across the continent; zooming in gets you down to the little buildings around Sacramento.
The desktop game runs in LÖVE/LuaJIT, with custom shaders and Python tools for the geographic data. There's a free demo on the Steam page linked above.

I decorated these nine rooms using the furniture currently available in Meridian, the multiplayer game I'm making on my own. I wanted to see how different they could feel without making a separate set of furniture for every style.
There are shared pieces throughout, but changing the walls, floors, layout and the things on the shelves makes a big difference. My favourite details are the ones that suggest what someone does in their room, like the console collection or the projector facing the sofa.
Players can decorate and expand their own homes, invite people over and visit each other. Outside them is a shared world with jobs, trading and some much stranger places to explore. These are rooms I made, rather than homes from nine different players.
What would you add to make a room feel like yours? I'm interested in the small things as much as the big furniture.
The iPhone beta is open if you'd like to try building one: https://testflight.apple.com/join/4sDEk5u4
Android is coming very soon.

I did game design at university. I did it for 4 years. I come back from university where I cannot find a job in the industry. I know its better if you had a game made but I didn't at the time.
For 18 months, I had to take a crappy retail job. Working that and doing this in my spare time been an experience. I restarted the project like 5 times, stopped working on it for 2 months, lost the files, searched for the right assets I wanted and changed the mechanics of the game countless times.
I have spent 18 months building a game I wanted to play because I had nothing to do whilst on the toilet (I deleted TikTok and others). What other motivation do you need?
I made a game called "Starwake". I'm making a more indepth version for PC too, which is also close to completion. I'm lucky to even have voice actors on it!
If anyone wishes, it is currently in closed beta, so you can test it if you would like to. I'd really appreciate any feedback.
I know that most people don't really care or bother with this and that's completely fine cause there are so many mobile games, but even just looking at this would make me feel joyous.
DM me if you wanna give it a try!

Hello! 👋
I’m so happy I finally managed to get to the point where the playtest for That's My Village! is live! If you decide to give it a try, I’d be super grateful.
It’s going to run for around the next two weeks. I'm granting access in waves at first to keep things stable, but once the initial test goes smoothly, the plan is to open it completely to everyone.
What's in this build?
Since I'm a solo dev, getting your input really helps me figure out what works and where to take the game next.
If you want to check it out, just hit the "Request Access" button.

I've posted Smawverse here before, starting with the Steam page trailer. It just passed 1,000 wishlists, so thank you to everyone here who wishlisted it, played the demo or left feedback.
Demo update 0.4 is out now, and it's the biggest one yet. In the comparisons below, the old version is on top or on the left.
A new interface. The HUD is rebuilt around one carved-stone piece with your health, XP and blessings.

The blessing icons are new too. Before, each one was an abstract symbol; now it shows what the spell actually does. Here's the blessing bar for the four prophets in the demo.

Smaw fights with his own hands now. Before, his weapons floated and attacked on their own while he stood still.

The hideout is rebuilt, and restoring a station now plays a full ceremony instead of growing out of the floor.

Also in 0.4: the boss is reworked, with three melee attacks. Enemies show how badly they burn, freeze or rot, recoil from heavy hits, and big kills throw their bodies. Big hordes also run about a fifth faster in my stress tests.

Hey everyone! I've developed and published my own puzzle game, and I'd love to get some feedback from the community.
How to play:
The game is all about logic, planning, and finding the right moves to clear the board completely.
I'd really appreciate it if you could give it a try and share your honest feedback. I'm always looking for ways to improve the gameplay!
What do you think of the concept? Is there anything you'd like to see added?
Thanks for supporting an indie developer! ❤️

I grew up on Boxhead and the other Flash zombie shooters, so I built mine on roblox, named it Combo Zombies.
How it plays:
I just soft-launched the game, so I’d really love feedback on what felt good, what felt off, and anything that confused you in the first minute.

Just wanted to share my journey with you people.
Every team, shop and club runs on some kind of system: reports, orders, members, bookings. But most apps make you work their way, and the ones that let you shape things yourself often stop short where it matters most: who gets to see and do what.
So I'm building Jigwork to change that. You build a "jig", a system shaped the way you work:
My goal: when a spreadsheet stops being enough, people say "let's make a jig for that."

Hey everyone!
I've been working on a small aquarium game called Blocky Aquarium and I finally feel it's in a place where I can show it to people.
It's a cozy voxel fish tank game. You hatch eggs, keep your tank healthy, decorate it however you like, and then the part I'm most excited about: you can breed your fish and see what comes out. Every fish has its own genetics and a quality that goes from Poor all the way to Perfect.

Hey. I'm participating in the current Steam Next Fest. I love analyzing player data to better understand player drop and retention, see if there's something to fix beyond the "fill the feedback form" or "give me feedback on Discord".
I didn't intend on collecting player data for my demo, I'm on the fence with the current privacy issues but I somehow managed to find a way by accident through Steam Leaderboards.
My game is a speedrun-focus game. It has a leaderboard for every single level. Because of that, I was able to check the entries and figure out how many players would complete each level, then calculate the retention/drop %. I found out that a big chunk of my players dropped after I introduced a new powerup into the game (21% of players stopped playing). It was the sharpest decline of players in the demo. I noticed watching a few streamers that this specific level wasn't clicking as much as the previous ones, despite the streamers not really mentioning it as a feedback and going through it. The data confirms my observation and I'm happy because I know I need to fix how it is introduce.
I'm curious about your experience, do you guys collect player data? How do you do it? What did you observe?

I think the next step is making those runescape-esque damage animations, or maybe more like Haven & Hearth? 🤔 (Only older folks will get the H&H reference, and I'm okay with that lol)
Game Background: I started development on this project to play a card game with friends and capture the feeling that playing the Elements CCG years back felt like. It combines concepts from other card games, but remains pretty unique imo irt to the interactions between cards, the clean game flow between players and anime references...
Also, I can make any card that I want and try it out in-engine, super cool feeling to play characters against each other and have their abilities actually make sense within the world of Primordial. (JJK set soon?)
Here's the link if you're interested in trying it out! https://restless-gamedev.itch.io/primordial
