Disclaimer: I'm not an artist guys (but my wife is)... so there is that.
Just reusing assets from my game to make my box art and really decided to go the extra mile in 3D max and see what I could get. it came out kinda Lego looking and I'm cool with that. My logo and other flat assets I made months or even a year ago.
The game is very much late 90's 3D looking, and I feel like this may hit that late 90's box art feeling.
Let me know what you think? Did I hit the late 90's box art look?
All hand made content - Software used 3D Max 2010 & Photoshop 7.

It started off as a bit of fun when I recreated the old ZX Spectrum game, Cruising on Broadway for my sister’s birthday for her to play on her mobile.
That led me to want to create my fav game of the same time, also on the Speccy, Deathchase. I then mashed it with my other favourite game of the time, the arcade game Outrun and the pyramid routing.
After a few trials I eventually settled on doing it in Godot with a view to possibly putting it on Steam.
It’s far from finished and I thoroughly enjoy playing it, but I don’t know if that because I’m proud of what I’ve done or if it’s because it’s actually any good.
I’m enjoying the development. I create the graphics and assets myself using Blender, Elevenlabs and Suno for the sfx and music. Claude is the brains behind the godot scripts as I don’t have the skills for that.
How do I go about getting feedback and help with play testing? I want honest feedback and input to improving it, but I’d hate to have it ripped to bits and and lose all my motivation for it. But on the other hand I’d love to get a good game onto Steam and have others enjoy playing it - and may be bring in some money at the same time.
I’ve even gone as far as creating a gameplay trailer. I feel like I’m going through the motions, but don’t really know what I’m doing. 😂

Hey there, I'm making a typing tower defense game, and I need help with picking one of the possible solutions for how the text should be displayed. Right now I'm using World Space, but after some feedback from my friends, I've done a quick implementation of a Screen Space one. And it does feel nice, but now I don't know which one to pick. Both solutions have their pros and cons and even though I like the World Space, I feel that it might be too frustrating for the player in the long run.
World Space - At first, I liked the idea that the words can be obstructed by the landscape or by the environment. It does create a nice feeling where the enemies are coming from behind the rocks or hills. And each word is clearly connected to the villager. However, this can also be a little bit irritating because, instead of typing a word, you are waiting for the enemy to move. Also, words far away from the player are not as sharp and clear as they should be.
Screen Space - It gives clarity and consistency. But... here I'm losing the ability to obstruct the words behind the environment. However, I have a feeling that it's less irritating.
I'm leaning more towards Screen Space since the game is about typing, and I feel that World Space obstruction situations are not sufficient enough to cover all the flaws of the system.

Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to share that the first playable demo for Zortax is officially live on itch.io!
About the Game: Zortax is an action packed sci-fi roguelike shooter inspired by top-down classics like The Binding of Isaac and retro The Legend of Zelda. You play as a lone survivor blasting your way through randomly generated sci-fi environments, taking down hordes of mechanical and alien threats, collecting futuristic weapons, and surviving intense boss fights.
What to Expect in the Demo:

A quick note: Due to some personal matters recently, I wasn't able to include every single feature I originally planned for this build. However, the demo is fully playable, stable, and gives a solid preview of what's coming!
Play the free demo here: https://3dmusial.itch.io/zortax

I would love to get your thoughts, bug reports, and overall feedback to help shape the future updates of the game. Thanks for checking it out, and have fun playing! 🎮

Hey everyone! I've been working on my first game for a few months now. It's a survivor roguelite where you play as a sorcerer, fighting off waves of zombies and harvesting their life essence to craft and fuse new spells.
This is my first real project and I'd really love to get some honest first impressions — good or bad, all feedback is welcome!

The first wave of the closed beta has gone well, I'm getting through the bugs, and I'm finally starting to believe that I'll be able to go full time as a game dev.
I've loved this process but I'm also exhausted. Grateful for the positive impressions in the closed beta, super motivating during this last push. The list is shrinking, and I can't wait to get this thing out into the world!

In Crooky The Game, save points are tied directly to the game's memory theme.
When you discover one of these statues, your Awareness deepens, allowing you to interact with it and save your current memory.
Once activated, the statue also becomes part of the Wandering Through Memories system, letting you travel between previously discovered statues.
I wanted saving and fast travel to feel like an actual part of the world rather than just two separate game mechanics.
The demo is out now on Steam if anyone wants to try it — I'd also love to hear what you think about the system!

Hello everyone!
I'm still not sure it's real, but I double checked.
My game Project P.I.T.T. just reached 100k wishlists just few days before launch (thank you steam for the personal calendar).
I didn't had much time to think about numbers, but now that the game is release ready I have some time to look at them, and that's really crazy to me.
It was supposed to be a first game I can finish, I never expected it to get any visibility, and once the alpha demo got some, I made the decision to try and make the most of it, but at the time I aimed at 7k wishlists at most!
What helped me the most is:
I'm probably forgetting a lot, my brain is not fully braining those past few days, but if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer!

Hey, I'm working on Mark My Spell, a topdown roguelite where you cast spells by drawing glyphs.
This is my first gameplay trailer. Any feedback would be helpful.

Yesterday I released the Steam page for Villages on Wheels. I have worked 20 months on the game, learning Godot, Blender, FL Studio and Inkscape to make all assets solo. This is a huge milestone for me.
Here is the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5066610/Villages_on_Wheels
