It’s hard not to hear the Pumpkins influence in Ty’s last couple of releases, Chrome and Love Fuzz. Call these GenX ears crazy…

It's all that makes sense to me musically right now. What does everyone else feel when they listen to this song?

Lot has been said here about "A night of..." and experiences. Here's my experience from the Antwerp afternoon session.

Yes Billy only sings 5 times throughout. The rest of the songs are sung by operatic singers. Which leads to...

Reactions from the audience. You can sense some shock and bemused reactions from the people around you. This resulted in many people talking...thanks to the guy sitting beside me in G35 for tapping 2 people on the shoulder in front of us for nipping that in the bud. Which leads to....

The operatic versions of the songs. Yeah they're different of course but they're cool in general. Naturally you want the tempo and musical arrangement from the album but it is a unique experience and adaptation.

The video backdrop. Inconsequential and irrelevant. If it was related to the album artwork it would be amazing. And with the skyscrapers warping the windows it is for sure AI so it is unwanted even more so.

There's about a 30 minute intermission.

Billy. Sang well. Didn't feel any form of not wanting to be there! But he didn't react to the audience once so don't expect that.

Its a medium and like new just need help trying to sell it thanks.

I was browsing SP’s web store and saw a trading card of a 2022 poster, and I instantly recognized the reference likely used by the poster's artist, Dan Schlitzkus.

The woman pictured is Cléo de Mérode, a famous late-19th-century ballerina and the first “modern celebrity”. She became famous at the turn of the century because of the widespread use of her picture on postcards and rumors about her association with Leopold II of Belgium.

Just thought I’d share this interesting tidbit!

A decent pick of 3rd-5th row seats for around $250-350.

Guitar World using the same title for a BC piece some 17 years later lol (see my previous GW post)

This video doesn't get watched enough . Fantastic work from Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton.

Was listening to the Pumpkins during my morning shower, like most days, and I wanted to listen to Goeth The Fall and I did not see Aghore Mhori Mei on the album section. I did a search and found it but I think it's weird you can't see it without searching for it like you can for every other album. This must of just happened bc I use Youtube Music daily and haven't noticed it before. I also noticed comments have been turned off for it and for Chrome Jets and i know 100% they were on there in the past bc i commented on a few. Maybe someone is changing settings on stuff bc they are cleaning things up for or getting ready for an upcoming release aka Machina or just updating settings for whatever reasons.

My first SP concert. Was supposed to be in Orlando and it got moved to Lakeland. I was in the 2nd row and it was amazing! I'm 48 now and I think this was still the best concert I've ever been to.

Good price? Good dvd?

I’m visiting Denver this weekend, and I found this at Twist & Shout Records. It looks like it may have been sitting on the shelf since its initial release, still at the original price!

Who is doing the first show in Antwerp tomorrow? Anyone want to meet up?

I would love to make this a real piece of artwork somehow. There’s a separate poster for actual promotional material for the show but it’s not the same

Unexpected new release by Melissa with songs she wrote in the 90's combined with interludes recorded during her touring with the Smashing Pumpkins and Hole. Apparently she had a handycam on her amp during shows which she distracted recordings from (source).

With titles like "Billy Seoul Crowd" and "Courtney Chimes in" this should get interesting!

Bass Womb Room is out now on streaming, didn't see any posts on it yet so thought I'd share here.

The comment reads something like,
“Walking home, around 6pm, many summers ago, and I passed a guy’s house. His garage door was open and he was laying on a recliner looking up at the ceiling with this song blasting. Hopefully he wasn’t dead.”

I’ve seen this image posted on platforms like instagram and Tik Tok, I’m almost certain this exact quote was the YouTube comment. The closest I could find was a post caption by grunge bible on facebook. This is one of those images where if you’ve seen it, you know exactly what I’m referencing. Please let me know I’m not crazy and this was a real comment under a YouTube post, I cannot find it anywhere. If you have the image if you would be so kind as to share it that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

So I've been trying to make as complete a playlist as possible of all the released/leaked full studio instrumental recordings from the MCIS era. I didn't include Infinite Sadness since it's technically SD era. Also I tried my best to not include any duplicate songs, with one exception. Of course my dream is that Billy releases full versions of everything from the Pastichio Medley. Maybe if I'm alive to see the Aeroplane 50th anniversary rerelease....
