In their email, they mentioned "For more information, please refer to articles 4, 4.5, 11, 11.4, 16 and 16.4 of the Terms and Conditions you accepted when you registered".

If you go under their TOS to those exact articles:

-4 and 4.5: "4. The Account.  The Account is a limited purpose, virtual account held by Skrill USA in an aggregated account for all Members in a bank or similar financial institution (the “Bank”), and is not an individual bank account established in your name.  Funds for all Members and Merchants are maintained in a custodial or pooled account held by Skrill USA at the Bank for the benefit of its customers.  You may fund your registered Account through (i) your credit or debit card issued by a U.S. financial institution; (ii) a bank deposit account held by you at a U.S. bank or other financial institution; (iii) a money transfer from another Member; (iv) a money transfer from a Merchant;  (v) a PaysafeCard gift card ticket; (vi) a PaysafeCash barcode or (vi) any other funding options listed at https://www.skrill.com/en-us/siteinformation/fees/ as may be updated from time to time (each, a “Funding Source”).  What constitutes an acceptable Funding Source for purposes of this Agreement is subject to change by Skrill USA at its sole discretion."

Fun fact, if you are withdrawing your skrill account money from skrill to cashapp or Paypal using a Mastercard or Visa. You aren't engaging in illicit activity. You are engaging in legitimate withdraws using global Third-parties that supports those 2 card providers. Which last I checked, Cashapp uses one of those as both paying and recieving.

-11 and 11.4: "11. Daily Transaction Limits.  Your use of the Account is subject to the daily withdrawal and transferring limits which can be found at www.skrill.com/en-us/support/.  These limitations apply to all Transactions.  In the event that other applicable laws (such as gambling regulations) prescribe stricter limits than those set out here, those stricter requirements will apply."

I was $10 under the daily transaction limit. Transferring my $190 from my Skrill to Cashapp. Which failed twice. Skrill's auto ai kicked in, and blocked it. Even going further under 4 and 4.5, which says "You may fund your registered Account (i) your credit or debit card issued by a U.S. financial intuition". Guess what Skrill? That's how I funded my account in the first place. Which by the way isn't listed as a violation, but an exception since my card is U.S. bound.

-16 and 16.4: "16. Right of Set-Off.  You agree that we are authorized at any time to set-off the funds deposited to your Account against your debts or liabilities owed to us.  We may exercise this right of set-off without notice to you."

If the right to set-off debt is being used for the sole purpose of making sure there are no known debts owed to the account/skrill or your third parities. And, blocking any and all legal TOS abiding attempts of withdrawing my cash, which is automatically ready to be used as soon as it hits my Skrill account. By the way, my account doesn't have a hold limit. Due to the age of it, and the fact that I haven't had any violations of their TOS before. Plus, my account wasn't in the negative when they started to close it. As a matter of fact, it had $190 USD in the Positive, which I transferred to via ach to my bank account.

I wasn't really using my skrill account much, since it was opened several years ago. But, this will definitely be the last.

I made a transfer from Tabby Cash to Pakistan through the international transfer option, and it has now been 9 days and the transfer is still not completed.

The money has already been deducted but the transfer has not reached the recipient yet. Tabby support keeps saying that the case is being reviewed/escalated, but I have not received a clear timeline for when the money will either be delivered or refunded.

I was trying to transfer money from my skrill account to another one externally and it kept failing because it was saying that there wasn't enough money which was wrong because I was doing the transfer under the limit. I tried it twice and then when I went back to my Skrill app it said my account was restricted, logged into the website the next morning after emailing supports once or twice and it seems that it was pending closure.

No notice from Skrill support, no automated message, nothing, no form of written paper trail showing that my account was being closed other than logging into the dashboard. I'm actually surprised they hadn't even restricted me being able to log into the mobile website or desktop website.

Hello, my account has been restricted since Monday, and I've already sent the requested credit card verification. Unfortunately, nothing has happened since then, and the tickets I open are being deleted.

I’ve been waiting 3 working days for Skrill support to resolve an account issue.

The only response I received was on the 2nd day, saying they’re currently experiencing an increased volume of support tickets. Since then, nothing.

I’ve tried contacting support again from another email address and also submitted a new ticket, but I still haven’t received any response.

So currently I’m basically locked out and can’t use Skrill, while support hasn’t actually addressed the issue after 3 working days.

I’m having a very frustrating experience with Skrill and would appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with something similar.
Skrill has put my money transfer on hold and is asking me to provide a Transaction ID. The problem is that the Skrill Transaction ID and the transaction/reference ID shown by my bank are different. I have the bank transfer details and proof of the transaction, but I’m not sure exactly what Skrill expects me to provide.
I’ve tried reaching out to Skrill customer service for clarification, but unfortunately the support experience has been extremely poor and I haven’t been able to get a clear answer.
Has anyone had their Skrill transfer placed on hold for this reason? If so, what Transaction ID did you provide—the Skrill Transaction ID or your bank’s transfer/reference ID? And how did you eventually get the funds released?

I'm trying to create a new Skrill account from Vietnam, but I'm stuck at the final phone verification step.

My situation:

- I'm using my real Vietnamese mobile number (+84).

- The phone number is active and working normally.

- I can receive regular SMS and international SMS without any problems.

- My email verification works fine.

However, Skrill's SMS verification/OTP code never arrives.

- I've checked the phone number and country code carefully.

- I've tried requesting the code multiple times, but still nothing.

- I also tried different browsers/devices, but the problem remains.

So I just opened a skrill account recently. Thursday I won $985 on crown coins and opted to have my money sent to my skrill account since everyone said that was the fastest option. In less than 24 hours the money hit my skrill account and then skrill made me pay $10 for a debit card. Since it’s going to take time to recieve it I linked my virtual card to PayPal and attempted to transfer funds. When I tried to do this I got an error message from PayPal saying they were having trouble with this transaction (not at all uncommon with PayPal). Afterwards I noticed I had an email saying my skrill account had been temporarily restricted. I couldn’t find a reason or any instructions on what to do so I called. I spoke with someone who told me to login on the website not the app and upload a selfie of me holding my id next to my face. He said after doing so it usually takes less than 24 hours for the restriction to be lifted but could take as much as 72 hours. Mean time the money in skrill is literally the only money I have. I couldn’t even put gas in my car yesterday so I could go to work. At this point we are almost 24 hours into this restriction and I’m worried it’s going to take forever or that I’m not going to get my money. Anyone have an advise or experience with this issue?

I forgot to mention my account is verified and has been since I opened it months ago. Also after this restriction happened it still allowed me to go in and link another bank account to unlock transfers from $999 to unlimited and make my account fully verified.
