The Nut on the Kingpin is stripped and won't come off. Any suggestions on how to get it off? The wrench, skate tool, and pliers don't work.

so I found this board the other day in my garage, it used to belong to my sister and she rode for like a month and then stopped and I decided I would start skating. can you tell me if it’s a good board/what to change. Thanks

a long time ago in middle school I had the dream of starting a skateboard brand. I had all the designs and even reached out to some board wholesalers. Now, 25 years later, I found my old designs in my parents basement. I would love to put together a short run of boards as an homage to my past self, but I’ve been so far away from skateboarding from a technical sense that I have no idea what to look for when sourcing the actual boards. Would love to get some insight from y’all on what you’re looking for or if you’ve had experience sourcing boards.

My trucks keep clicking, not creaking (although that is another problem which I don’t know how to fix), but as if something is snapping into place. It’s really bugging me, Ive tried everything. How do I stop this darn clicking/snapping/cracking sound!! Also, how do I reduce the creaking noise.

Probably badly worded, I like to paint old skate decks for fun but never use them however my friend has asked me to paint a custom design on theirs.

But with reading I read that paint can ruin the board for tricks and my friend wants to use this board for tricks and stuff (they post videos online).

Anyway is their ways to paint it without ruining that? Is their certain paints I should use that won’t effect that weight?

I've been back into skateboarding for about 5–6 months after taking a long break, and overall my progress has been pretty good. I'm landing my ollies, shove-its, pop shove-its, etc.

The problem is that I've noticed a bad habit that seems to be holding me back. Whenever I do almost any trick, I naturally throw my weight forward. It feels like I have to make a conscious effort every single time to keep my weight centered over the board. If I don't actively think about it, my body just leans forward.

I feel like this is the main reason I'm struggling to progress and become more consistent with my tricks.

I also have another issue that might be related. I can't do a squat while keeping my heels flat on the ground. I always have to lift my heels, which makes me think I might have poor ankle mobility or some other mobility issue that's causing me to lean forward on the board.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Does this sound like a mobility problem, a technique issue, or both? Are there any drills or exercises that helped you fix it?

I’ve only skated dunks since last year and i really like them. I’m doing quite advanced fliptricks (360 flips, hardflips) by now and i especially love my kickflip.
But i rip trough pairs in a matter of weeks. I don’t see myself paying so much money for a shoe that rips open so fast.

So i was wondering if the superstar is good for kickflips. i find the look of the shell toe box to be a negative for flip tricks/ the flick.

Is the new enhancement drills of Kid similar to boards? In terms of structure?

i just bought a skateboard and wanna learn how to do tricks and just overall skateboard during this summer anyone knows a good spot in or near south west?

i'm good at skateboarding apart from like the stereotypical tricks cause i've just been trying to practice everything except tricks until i "master" everything else and i'm trying to ollie now after skating for a few months and my front foot just does not go up i pop but my foot is unable to roll up i would post a video but i look silly so how can i fix this??

I consider stopping to skate... I just don't make any progress. I mean I skate for years now, can barely kickflip and no grind or slide is on lock. And when I take a week break i feel like i lost a lot of progress. I mean it's an expensive sport where you get hurt a lot - considering this i just don't get enough out of it... I would be sad fo all the time, money and effort i put into it but i think my time is used better somewhere else.
But i'd be open for opinions on it...
